PS:Remember, show hasn't started so we shouldn't jump to conclusions based on the promos. Plus, let's face it-there has to be a plot and the story can't be happy happy all the time-no one's going to watch it! How many watched season 2 with happy happy Devakshi vs How many watched Devakshi separation/heart break phases? Come on guys, who're we kidding! Everyone secretly wants the angst coupled with that longing for happiness and when it comes, we enjoy it sooo much more! I know people finally breathed peacefully when Devakshi were reunited forever. And now there's a threat to that peace. But they are going to be together no matter what! They're the end game. And the separation has a promising storyline unlike EK serials. It's realistic. It's an everyday, modern marriage.

PPS:Look, I understand your fears. You don't want the essence of the show to be ruined. And the fear that the new writers may not do justice to the characters as they won't understand them as well as the original ones. I know (though separate things) cursed child ruined Harry Potter so much that a lot of people only relegate it to a badly written fanfic; I know Tilly Bagshawe who has continued Sidney Sheldon tried to match his level and completely ruined his legacy. Just give this a try. I think they'll deal with this issue of emotional disconnect between couples due to the burden of familial responsibilities in a very engaging and relatable way.

I have absolutely no expectations on the show but your comparison of bagshawe nd sheldon leaves me with cold feet. Am still in mourning on that front.

Oh ok, just that it started from 20 something and jumped to 8 last week. And then at the beginning of this week, it wasn't there at all! So, my heart plummeted with the rankings. Anyway, hopefully we'll be back next week!

Are you gonna watch it though? Like try. We'll know in a bit if they're absolutely hell bent on ruining it and then even I won't have the heart to continue. But I'm definitely trying it out and hoping against all odds that this season will be a smashing success as well!

I definitely will watch. It deserves a fair chance. Sure want to know what 'gyaan' they come up for couples drifting apart and doesnt conclude with the centuries old statement --- communication is the key. Am highly doubtful of its smashing success but i love to be surpised. Fingers crossed.

If you've watched the live/private press conference today (1 hour 20 minute recording on youtube), Mamta Patnaik explained it beautifully. She said(and I'm retaining the key words here)-Many years after marriage, couples enter a comfort zone and start taking each other for granted. Often they need to take only one step to rectify this and that one step is the longest step.

Something like this. If you listen to it, it makes more sense. Anyway, the story picks up after 10 years of living together with blissful initial years and the couple slowly drifting apart. If you've watched the new promo Sony released in the day, they show it.

If the season is anything like the producers explained it (which I am sure is the way they envisioned it), I feel it's gonna be great. As long as it translates onscreen exactly as they said. At the end of the day, it's airing on TV, which is my only worry. I'd rather have a convincing reason or an everyday, relatable reason than some cliched storyline like third angles and blah.

Season 1 was a repeated ITV story too of a son being stuck between his wife and his mother but it wasn't your regular ITV take on it which is why the show stood out. Still they added unwanted drama here and there to keep the show on air which is acceptable. It happens in English TV shows too. So many shows I followed were ruined in the later seasons. So I'm willing to tolerate a little drama in season 3 as well as long as they have a good storyline this time round too.

Havnt watched the press conference but saw bits nd pieces here nd there. So they are celebrating 10th anniversary not 10 yrs of living together. 7 yrs apart in s1, celebrated 8th anniversary with soha nd now 10th anniversary in s3. So approx after 2 yrs of reunion their chemistry has fizzled out?. Thats fast. But TV shows timelines are always beyond our comprehension... who am i to question it. Maybe they didnt want to risk them showing as older couple. ( btw shaheer has started looking older😕)

I think, this looks like it's 10 years after reuniting. If you see the promo. Ya, TV timelines are never clear. I think everyone is going by the close up of the marriage certificate they showed in season 1. I think they may have shifted it to the early 2000s now (OG marriage date) so that they were separated and back by 2010. And the present hence coincides with 2021. Will have to wait and see. The calender promo looks like they've been living under the same roof since 2010.

I remember this show where no one knew the actual ages of the ML and FL in its runtime of 18 months. The FL went 18, 26, 22 in this time with no leap. And the ML was like 28, 30, 25 or some crap. These inconsistencies can be swept under, not so important. Just take it to mean that they had to make some creative changes to bring in a third season.

Ya, both Shaheer and Erica are looking older now. Erica should tone down her makeup a bit. She is so naturally beautiful, she still looks slightly like her fresh, season 1 self with minimal makeup. She should just maintain that. Or atleast as much as her KZK2 preleap beauutiful Prerna look. Some of her stills here are so overdone like her KZK2 post lockdown look. (I didn't watch it but saw bits and pieces only to catch a glimpse of her beautiful face).

I think people are wondering if Sona lost her mother(Moon ma'am not returning and no mention of who's playing Asha and Patnaiks confirmed old characters are 100% OG adult cast) or if Devakshi lost Shubh which created the rift, considering Dev was taking care of Shubh full time. Shubh isn't in the official family photos used by Sony and there is no mention of him. So he was only there for flashbacks or what? Whatever doubts or misgivings we have will unravel next week.

Completely agree with erica's make over. Its a total disaster. The severity in make up is maybe to make her look older but she looks good in stills. I watched kzk 2 only for erica as it was a total contrast in costumes... from wearing sacks to fitting suits nd sexy lehengas nd sarees, neutral makeup to highlighting her features nd lots of parties for her to dance and she came into her own with the gang. Unlike during krp where she was uncertain how to react around people.

Loosing shubh.. sounds very depressing. Waiting for the show to open.
