An honest letter from a Shaheer fan.
This thread is so biased. It should be renamed as Erica FC. You all care a damn about Shaheer and take him for granted.
The level of bias is such that nobody is happy for Shaheer doing good work in India by working with producers of hit shows and a channel like SP. Everyone is just upset that Erica is not doing the show.
If you all are so sure about their equation offscreen, then why get insecure. Why are you guys getting insecure in the first place. Are you guys going to decide who is a good or bad life partner for them? They know best right about who they should be spending their life with.
Shaheer will bring the same intensity and passion onscreen with this new actress as he did with Erica. There is a reason for it. It is because he is that good an actor.
For me, both Shaheer and Erica have a natural chemistry but the era of watching them both together onscreen is done. The funny part is that Erica seems to be enjoying herself and not too keen on doing any new projects. And on this thread, there are people who are badmouthing the PH for not casting her. Its ridiculous and stupid.
Did Erica promote their new show? No.
Did she thank them for casting her in Kuch Rang? No.
Did she make any efforts to keep in touch with them or maintain a good rapport with them? No.
Shaheer did all these things. He can attract audiences. He got the role. Simple.
I guess you all expected the PH to actively pursue someone who doesn't even make an effort to communicate just so that you can watch your favourite couple onscreen again. I'm not a fan of this new actress, I think I should clear that before you guys label me as a Twinkle Patel fan. I even like Erica as an actress but this bias against Shaheer is what puts me off liking her. It is okay if you all like Erica more than Shaheer but atleast be happy for him. Atleast wish him luck. Atleast hope the show does well and not pass sarcastic statements against the new couple. This show is a part of Shaheer's career just how Kuch Rang was. If you all are really Shaheer's fans, I wouldn't have read sarcastic comments here like 'let the new couple bring in even greater chemistry than Devakshi'. That's called being selfish and insecure. To be frank, to an outsider, you all look like Erica's fans who have come to like Shaheer because he happened to be her costar and good friend.
