as per historical records ( what I have read that is) Rani Padmini was known for her beauty and Alauddin has come to hear about that and as was his nature, he wanted to acquire/ possess that beauty but they did not come face to face - only saw her reflection in the mirror

By the way antv performance chart in that chandra nandini, pardes etc r there but shah's show is not there, i missed it out or his show is not doing well even after the changes. What should we assume ?

Let's assume that wo Boriya bistar Bandh Ke jaldi wapis aajaye!
I just want him to come home for good and make Mumbai his base and only go to Indonesia a few times a year for special occasions or shows. Not anything long term. He has spent more time at one stretch in Indo for this show that's not even prime time, than he did for KRPKAB which was a prime time show.

Hopefully this is his last long term stint in Indo. Ab settle Bhi to hona hai and the kinda gf is already annoyed that he has no time for anything else.

See for history we are dependent on written records and if someone is keeping records it is obvious that some amount of bias would be there - e.g.- in Rajput records I don't think you would ever find any mention of the two meeting face to face as Rani is highly revered and respected there but in Delhi sultan's records there might be mention of that - as far as I know from my knowledge of history it is as implied in the movie but of course with a lot of creative liberty and director's imagination as it's based on a poem ( a work of fiction) and not actual history. So the main historical events remaining same, some amount of poetic liberty must have been taken by the poet. Same thing with his earlier movie BM also as both the characters were real but the circumstances were loosely based on reality with lots of director's vision in it as that was also based on a work of historical fiction. Also with Jodha Akbar, there is lot different opinions as to what was the real name of Akbar's Rajput wife and that's why there was a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie regarding this .
