Did I tell you guys, that I absolutely HATE MY JOB... Don't get me wrong, I absolutely in love with what I do...

But, now, when everything is getting so exciting in KRPKAB Land, I am so disappointed that I will not have the time to write my usual long posts or analyses...

But, I also know that if I don't write anything and express myself, then I would not be able to focus on my work tomorrow...

So, in a nutshell...

Asha's publisher made a blunder...
Ishwari gets inspired...
Tripathis are on the verge of a Civil War...
Our little Nikki has now become a fierce and fearless warrior;
Protective about her one true love...
And, her family, Lakshya is man with ice running in his veins;
He will definitely need it to keep his mini-fireball safe...
The communication between Dev and Sona is solidifying with each passing day...
But, Sona forgot to tie a leash around her Hulk...
So, Mr. Aubrodo is finally back in its full shining glory;
And, Ms. Khargosh is back on her duty to protect her Man...

And, hence, my tiny-miny little poem comes to an end...

I definitely can't wait to see the explosions that are going to happen tomorrow, especially, after the sparks that I have witnessed today...

-Suyash.

Postscript Notes BEGINS...

============

1. @DQ & @Sam, please tell me where are your feet? I want to touch them to get your blessings, my two ever-knowledgeable and all-knowing seers...

While I was aware about Ishwari's bias towards Dev might have something to do with it, but after watching today's episode, it is absolutely clear that your predictions have again proven to be correct...

I wish I could have you in my team to predict the next connecting points of the neural network of the Expert System that is currently under my care and my sole duty is to make sure that my team doesn't go on a rampage...

And, did I tell you my HR department absolutely sucks when it comes to selecting people for R&D stuff...

I am pretty sure that you will do a far better job than some of my colleagues... But, alas... Your passion lied somewhere else...

-------- +++++ --------

2. Now, we know the reason why Asha took 7 long years to complete her book... How could she write a happy, romantic ending when her muses didn't have their fairytale...

With her muses happy in their life, she has finally published her book... At least, Sona and Dev could tell their story to Soha, without even uttering a single word... They have to definitely thank Asha for doing them such a huge favor...

But, I am pretty sure that everyone in the Ishwari Niwas are in for a shock when they read the section which Asha's editor failed to remove...

Still, I am not fully convinced about this mistake and hoping that it might be a prank from Bijoy to get back at her...
But, in any case, high-five to all the members who predicted that Asha is writing Devakshi's story... I hope that she give the due credit to her amazing muses, who unknowingly had given her access to such a beautiful love story cum fairy tale...

And, I absolutely loved the title, 'In The Hope Of Love'.

-------- +++++ --------

3. After seeing today's episode, why I am getting a feeling that Nikki and Lakshya's relationship is a contradiction to the relationship between Dev and Sonakshi...

And, I am definitely in love with this bold, mature and fearless version of Nikki and how eloquent and clear-headed, she was during her conversation with Sona..

While I loved her attitude and her swagger, but I am in serious doubt whether her relationship will survive the challenges and the hurdles that life will throw towards her and her 'family that matters', Lakshya...

But, even, if she is in a brilliant relationship with her boyfriend, it doesn't even a candle against my Devakshi...

Considering how Nikki used to idolise and consider the relationship between Dev and Sona as perfect and how hurt she must have been after they had parted ways...

So, it makes total sense when she does exactly the opposite to what she witnessed during Dev-Sona's relationship...

Where Dev and Sona hesitated to show their affection for each other openly, Nikki doesn't have any kind of qualms regarding this aspect...

Where Dev and Sona were burdened with other responsibilities related to their family, Nikki doesn't believe in family or the familial bonds...

Where Dev and Sona always desired the whole hearted acceptance of their relationship from their parents, Nikki doesn't have any issues with keeping them in dark...

Where Dev and Sona failed to give priority to their relationship, Nikki considers her relationship with Lakshya, the single most important thing in the world...

Where Dev and Sona failed to set boundaries and allowed everyone to interfere in their relationship, Nikki doesn't tolerate anyone to step into her relationship with her boyfriend...

Where Dev failed to stand up for Sona, Nikki has no problems in standing up or fighting for her love, Lakshya...

In short, the relationship between Nikki & Lakshya and the one shared between Dev & Sona before their separation, are like comparing the two ends of this world...

But, like everything in life, there is a need to maintain the balance... While Sona and Dev have nearly managed to find their equilibrium, I am pretty sure that Nikki and Lakshya are yet to embark on their journey to find the much-needed balance...

Postscript Notes ENDS...

With this, Ciao... Please carry on with your conversations and I hope that you have enjoyed reading my slightly, different post... And, don't hesitate to express your views...

They are always appreciated and welcomed.

Thanks for the compliment Suyash. You are too kind.
As for your poem... very nice. However Sona needs to put no one under a leash. Both Dev and Sona made me so proud today. So far their initial reactions have been just as I would expect an urban family at the verge of next generation breaking some Patterns to be. In S1 Dev and Ishwari struggled to send Nikki off for a night out. But they eventually came around. This time too, dev and sona are in shock. But they are assessing the situation. They know nikki is safe. I am discounting the precap for now. And Lakshaya is lovable. In fact I am glad Sonakhsi came for the utterly butterly delicious date and calmly explained everything to Dev. God seems to have heard Suhana's prayers and her papa doesn't get too angry anymore.

We may see Devakshi leading Ishwari into the 21st century now. I am very excited.

These makers are totally speaking my TV show love language and my love tank is labalab

Oh yeah DQ. Just when I had decided to start taking an after dinner stroll with husband at 9.30 PM before retiring to bed, here comes KRPKAB, all lovable and easy and fun and 21st century ready...

I loved Nikki in her interactions with Sona. Lakshya is cool and totally not the type to be intimidated by Dev Bhai😛😆 I am pleased as punch and rubbing hands in glee.
However, Sona being disturbed by Nikki's live-in status and Dev being bossy and judgemental(his character trait) is not what I looked forward too.
If it is just the initial shock, I will be fine. But after having a few affairs himself isn't it very hypocritical of him to judge Nikki. Well it's good that Nikki didn't take any of his words lying down...

Waiting to watch the growing up of Dev and Sonakshi. I have a feeling Ishwari with her limited exposure will come around quicker.

the kids being taken to school is such a sweet scene.
Ishwari so deserves a career. And I know she'll rock better than (my absolutely not favorite🤢😆) Asha JIII.

Devakshi are slowly becoming my fav with them meeting the initial 100 episodes standards👏
RR and Vicki are into domestic politics and not into something more dangerous... I hope😲

Hi everyone! It was a long time since I read this thread, and I came back to read. This thread still stunned me with its depth of analysis! I really do like this phase of KRPKAB. But I feel the guilt orientated Dev Dixit is getting kind of boring. This might seem weird, but I really want a true breakdown of Dev in front of his family. I feel like the characters around Dev realize his need for them but don't really grasp the role they play in his life. Honestly it is Ishu that seems to question that Dev was pulled from both ends, causing no movement. I might be the only one who feels like this, but I feel even Sona's apology proposal did not fully get the depth of his anguish. I really want Sonakshi to understand the pain that Dev might have gone through, just like Dev did. Because from the beginning it has always been who takes the first step in apologizing and feeling others' pain. It is absolute hell to live a lifeless life, not wanting to wake up the next day. As much as others had hellish lives around them, no one had life of not living for anything or having the support and physical bond with anyone. In a way, Sonkashi had a reason to wake up the next morning in those years, while Dev did not. Evertime I think of Dev, I think of that one dialogue that Dev said during Sona's engagement (my paraphrasing), " I want to die, but I can't because of responsibilities.

@Aishu13 ... agree with many of ur points.
It is difficult to see Dev being continuously on the receiving end of all the blame. He is just a very sensitive guy who worked very hard to give his family everything and the only goal of his life was to see his family happy . But alas everyone was using him to fulfil their own needs. He was emotionalky weak
This is where he needs to understand that he can love his family or his wife but love should not paralyze him so much that he is unable to stand. People will live for themselves and while still taking care of them one should not forget to take personal happiness too into account.
Only a person who is happy can give others happiness. So it's something one should learn from children. Just being joyful spreads joy around

I like to see the Dev who is in control of things and who can fire people if they go wrong not a helpless guy who waits for Sonakshi to set things right in his life

I hope the makers bring out the real positive traits of this guy and also make people around him realize all relationship talks are useless to a person trying hard to get the next meal
And without a meal one wouldn't be alive to be judging relationships... and how one should behave .

It's all about breaking down the old system to bring in the new 😊

Ishwari fought so hard to maintain control that she herself didn't have the energy to handle. She, Dev, and Neha worked themselves to the bone during their survival years, and by the time we met them, each was burnt out in their own way, not entirely satisfied with the way things were, but too tired to try and make significant changes. Ishwari was acutely aware that she had alienated Neha and created this bitterness inside her, but she never took positive steps to fix that. Instead, she jumped on the first chance to outsource that struggle in her over-optimistic support of Neha and Ranveer's marriage. Neha wanted validation as an adult, and to be something other than Dev's sister, but she was also exhausted from raising her sisters and at the same time, just wanted to enjoy their newfound wealth and luxury. Dev was probably the least self-aware, but his entire life had become quite mechanical. Ishwari was aware of this as well, but it was necessary to keep Dev in the dark in order to maintain the status quo.

All this changed when Sona came into Dev's life. In retrospect, that is the difference between her and Ranveer. The latter helped to maintain the status quo, which sapped Neha's already low levels of energy, while the former infused Dev's life with a new positive energy and impulse to be better and do better. Sona gave Dev sukoon which translated to fresh junoon, if we are to be poetic about it. 😆 With her gentle guiding hand, Dev felt a new drive to fill the gaps that were missing in his life, his relationship with his sisters being one of the many. But with this new energy in Dev came the threat of change, and Ishwari simply would not have it. She was so scared of losing the control she had painstakingly built in the framework of the old system, that she effectively threw their only salvation out in order to retain it. With Sona, out went Dev's new energy and purpose to continue thier family's progress, and with Dev, out went the energy that was quietly holding the entire family together.

That, I think, is the bigger picture the sisters are missing right now. Dev went into depression after Sona left, fine, that makes sense, but the fact that Ishwari, instead of staying strong and pulling the family up by its bootstraps, collapsed along with him is what hurts them the most. Why weren't they enough to give Ishwari that sense of purpose? It's because Ishwari had no independent drive of her own. She had concentrated all of her energy into Dev so much that she thought of him as an extension of her own self. To an outsider (including the sisters, unfortunately), it looked like Ishwari was in full control of the family. In reality, Dev did the heavy lifting that allowed this facade, and mainlined purpose and energy to Ishwari, and only he knew it. A lot of Dev 1.0's less desirable behaviour came from the fact that he had trapped himself in this secret, with the belief that it would be a betrayal to Ishwari if he revealed it to anyone, even Sona. As a result, he didn't let anyone help him with the burden, and when it became too heavy, he collapsed under it, taking his marriage and the family down with him. Without Dev supplying it, Ishwari had no energy to exercise the control she fought so hard to maintain, and with Sona, Ishwari lost a reliable source of that new energy.

Eventually, Dev's resilience did win out because he found ways to generate small bouts of energy, enough to live from day-to-day, and he guarded that energy selfishly. Any little surplus he had, he shared with Golu and by living his lost childhood through him, healed much of his personal bitterness, but the moment he felt his family demanding some of his hard-earned will to live, he immediately left the house and stayed away until he was recharged. In many ways, the sisters are doing the same. They cut off ties from an environment that was greedy for their life-force while offering little in return by way of support or honesty, and they found new ecosystems that validated their contributions and gave significant returns on happiness. Right now, Nikki sees that positive energy in a relationship as pitted against the the "burden" of family under which Devakshi 1.0's love collapsed (marriage being part of this burden); in her eyes, family is enemy #1 of love.

Devakshi 2.0, in the way they have come together, carry the key to how love and family can work together, creating more fruitful results for all parties. Instead of simply abandoning the traditional family in the name of new-age relationships based on honesty and open communication, they have always taken on the uphill task of bringing that communication and honesty into their traditional families, and dragging them into the new age. It's not always a gratifying task, but if you do persevere and you do succeed, the returns are immense. Thanks to Devakshi, Ishwari is now prepared to accept that relationships are more than the labels society give them, and as a result will be in a much better position to accept Nikki's reality (though it will still be hard for her). Ishwari, seeing Asha, is now inspired to find her own purpose as an individual and this will hopefully lead her to understand how much she wronged her daughters, seeing them as responsibilities rather than people, just as she saw Sona as a threat rather than the individual she once loved. As Nikki demonstrates in the precap, the days of unquestioned authority and embedded power structures has come to a close. Society/birth/Dev don't get to decide who Nikki's family is... only she does. So if the Dixit family is to come together again, it will have to be because of the mutual desire that will come when they rediscover each other as adults and as equals.

Di I want that too. That is what his family and Sona fail to see. If Dev takes charge, he compared to all others finishes his task efficiently and quickly, he needs a weird type of validation/support. For example: Soha accepting Dev, and even the balance between the families i.e. the dinner. I want to see a broken Dev bearing his heart out and then taking charge, because we saw a mini Sona breakdown but never a Dev breakdown while he is sober. Because unless Dev shows the depression and loneliness he feels, no one will get the true extent of how broken he is. I think he needs to vent out all that he has been feeling. That's why while most people wanted a Sona diary depicting the 7 years, I wanted Dev's because Sona's pain is excruciating but something most of see even without mention of it. But Dev's emotions and ideas are something no one understands, that's why I wanted a Dev diary that he wrote depicting his life from the start.

@Suyash: Thanks for the compliment! Quick clarification: I make no predictions (except for fun, sometimes), the show is just doing an excellent job of communicating their intended meaning through non-verbal cues before a character eventually puts it into words. It's a joy to be able to pick up on these clues and then watch them be validated by the CVs, like solving a literary/psychological crossword everyday and waiting till the next to see if you got the right answers. 😆

@All: For me it was love at first sight with Lakshya. ❤️ He gave me such strong Sona 1.0 vibes, and he and Nikki must have the most adorable story. The way he reacted to Dev, not one bit intimidated by his simmering rage showed that he expected such a reaction, probably because Nikki was one angry young woman against the world herself three years ago, and he patiently wore her down with his humour and sensitivity until he made her feel like she belonged somewhere... with him. 😳 Moreover, he seems perfect for the new and improved Dixit family. He's sanskaari in all the right ways -- calling Dev 'sir,' and invoking the laws of hospitality passed on to him by his elders -- but also liberated enough to embrace this unvconventional arrangement with Nikki.

Also, she called him "Momo"

I ship it with my whole heart, and I hope we get to see more of their relationship! ⭐️⭐️
