BUT

At the same time, anything thats over done will leave a bitter taste. I feel thats what is happening with Dev at present in the show. I wont get surprised if tomorrow he says sorry to his watchman and milkman saying i failed to take care you guys in the last 7 yrs.

I think dev's over emotional nature also responsible for this
He always thinks he's only responsible for everyone's situation
So it's only his responsibility to make everything alright.

I feel this is how ishwari programmed him and the legacy will be taken forward by Sona. He never got a chance to live his life on his terms. In S1, Ishwari use to decide what is good for him and now in S2 its sona's turn. My eight yrs old son is having more freedom and independence in deciding what he wants than this 30+ yrs old guy. The only thing that i am liking now a days is the way they are shaping ishwari's character progress. She is really full of positive vibes in this new avatar.

Its been long time since i got engaged in to a discussion on this thread. I love it and i wont get tired of saying thanks to Sam & DQ for providing this sane environment where we can co-exist with different pov's with peace and harmony. Thank you guys for your efforts. I respect everyone's povs but at the same time i stick to mine because what i think is based on what i saw and not based on what i read. I love to present my thoughts but i dont like getting in to arguments to prove my pov so i hardly visit main forum and prefer to peep in here when time permits. Happy weekend everyone.😊

Very good posts dissecting yesterday's episode. Imagine a situation where Ishwari is confused between 'App' and 'Aap' and discusses the same with Dev-Sonakshi, even praising Lakshya's intelligence and mannerisms!!! 😆 That would be a killer.

I am impressed with the story moving forward and the new Dev-Sonakshi. Also impressed with add ons of a woman trying to find her mettle and the new generation obsession with Apps. It's truly a 'today's kahaani'.

By the way, I am liking the change in their portraits arrangement on their bedroom wall. Previously, it's the family group picture along with these two and their families was placed in the center surrounded by their pictures. But now their pictures are present in center where only these two are there surrounded by all other pictures including family group picture. Even though the story is not giving me the exact feel still I like this portraits arrangement.

Sorry the summer hols is keeping me on my toes all the time and I couldn't contribute anything to the forum or this thread much. Just managed to read gists of some posts here and must say as usual fantastic POVS writers👏.I am simply loving the feel good episodes nowadays because I see growth in every character.

Dev loved that no nonsense ever dependable Dr.Boss who was there my his side guiding him to take right decisions which Mrs.Dixit failed by imposing her choices which suffocated him . Post leap he got his Dr.Bose back with Mrs.Dixit heart who is standing by him in all olds and taking that first step when needed but not without his consent ultimately making him take the wheel. Sona's approach with Rhea and Nikki is glaring proof !! In other words Sona bringing smiles on her love's face by redeeming herself for the pain she caused in her absence and the precap will be final blow to realize the extend of damage she caused !

Sona loved that Mr.Aubhodro who never bat an eyelid when it comes to his family's protection which Mr.Dixit failed to give her as his extreme loyalty to that same family suffocated her while post leap, she got her Dev back with the renewed version of Aubhodro who leaves no stone unturned to rectify the mistakes he did which hurted her! His guilt trip is the glaring proof !! In other words Dev bringing smiles on his love's face by redeeming himself for the pain he caused in her presence. The very fact that Dev apologized to Mamiji even after listening to her insecure conversation with Rhea shows how Dev wants to solve the problem when its budding before it storms on his Khargosh later like in past !!

Both went out of their character to prove what they are not in these 7 years by living separately , now both showing what they really are along with proving what they really meant for each other by living together❤️

P.S: Bone crushing jhappis to the CVs for the innovative idea of past meeting future through Ishwari. She is such a cutie nowadays !! Whatever people say, KRPKAB is still a trendsetter in TV series 👏

One of the consequences of her interference in Dev's life is Dev's inability to feel confident to manage his own relationships on his own. Sona wanted to be the middle man in everyone of his relationships in order to solidify her position in Dev's life. But as result she really became the middle man in those relationships.. without whom he lost the ability to have those relationships. I don't think Sona and Dev can have a balanced relationship until Dev can learn to trust himself in his own relationships irrespective of Sona.

Wonderful analysis mallika. Agree with whatever you said. I also root for season 2 leads rather than season 1 for the reasons same as you cited.

Especially the above lines showcase the reality of Sona's ch. and her continuous efforts to remain the important link between him and others. By meddling with everything in his life she dictated the man himself to follow her mode of thinking and function as per her wish.

Only Neha did not let her become the middle person but Nikki and Riya happily let her be the bridge between them and their brother. By doing so she fixed the nature of his equation also to some extent. In all this Dev became so weak like you said and stopped thinking on his own or deciding things for himself.

The core Charecter of Dev Dixit that once stood out for being an individualistic,confident and intelligent person who believed in his ability to tackle things on his own changed into a helpless,indecisive guilty ( for all the wrong reasons) person who will ruin himself without his life line Sonakshi.

You are right still Sonakshi has trust issues with Dev while Dev implicitly trusts Sonakshi. She can not let him move the way he wants to simply because she has no belief that he can manage. The way she jumped to his rescue at Nikki's place proves the fact.She should learn to let him work on his relationships without her interference. Even if Dev makes a wrong decision or fails to meet the challenge,she should accept it with grace.

Sonakshi says she can not do anything without him but that is only restricted to words. She will move ahead in her own way whether he likes it or not. Dev's fear regarding Iswari not accepting the live in relationship is genuine. Iswari by all means would not be able to swallow such thing. But here Sonakshi is shown as the mahan bahu in every way a la Ishita so even Iswari may get convinced by her.

Desparately waiting to see Dev be his ownself and do things in his own way whether they may work or not. But seeing the way Sonakshi hold the reigns in her hands it won't happen I believe.

I mean if that hand folded Dev Dixit will not make you fall in love with all over again, I don't know what will. Totally in character... I was reminded of the gobhi Paranthas. He is owning his own relationship and his apology and thanks to mami is the latest evidence of the same. Mami responded with equal love. She said he is the one who has done everything.

It doesn't matter who runs the house. Sonakshi and dev atleast couldn't care less. They have bigger fish to fry. Elena was roped into look after the food. Back then it was all Ishwari. Even neha and mami used to be on the sidelines. Trixits are becoming more family hug ready. 👏

Well, looks like mami will be redeemed soon and she will start liking Devakshi as she is not under threat now. Sona returning keys and Dev apologising profusely will make her softer towards them . She may be supportive and finally realize her mistakes too. Vicky will however try some more tricks.

Looks like the track is moving in that direction.

Sonakshi may realize the damage she has caused to Dev and will probably have an emotional break down soon

Sorry. I can not relate to Dev folding his hands before GKB.To me that is the limit. For what he is apologising? If it is for running the house I disagree since she ruled the house in his absence. She did not even try her bit to make peace with Dixit sisters by reaching out to them on behalf of Iswari. If she can cry hugging Riya now why didn't she do the same by going to her house?

The girls certainly have a soft corner for Mami they would have relented. But RR did not try any such thing. She just enjoyed with her own family. So why is Dev guilty towards her? If he stayed away from IN it concerns Iswari not RR. And doesn't he know how bitter her attitude was and is towards Sona? Ridiculous. Among all the Chs only Dev is made to say sorry . I feel disappointed. RR did not deserve his apology.

I agree lakshmi that mami doesn't deserve an apology for being ignored. Dev sent her jewellery in S2E1 if you recall. So she was getting what she wanted

However, Dev doesn't think he was giving her what he should give his family - attention. That is the beauty of this guy. He will you melt in a puddle with his warmth and love. He is taking ownership. This is my house and I should acted like the lead that I was. So it's for his own tassali that he needed to do it. He keeps releasing a better version of himself. He is the bigger person here.

If this makes him happy, then why not
