Sonakshi, the keys and maamiji - Page 2

That's a very positive thought, Shaavi. I had expressed my view in the weekly thread and this thought never occurred to me because I felt that a person like XGKB can never change, unless life gives her a big jolt. Sonakshi returned the keys not to be burdened with responsibilities, but she felt XGKB should have handed it over, not Ishwari. Now, that's another thought of hers that irked me.

If XGKB turns over a new leaf, that would a big twist. Vicky would be left all alone to do all the mismanagement and revenge drama. 😃 Interesting thought, I say. Let's wait and see.

but i agree as far as hurting dev and ishwari is concerned maami and vicky have different views and it ll definitely cause a rift

Sonakshi knows how low RR and her red can stoop .A women who can burn her husband's hard earned property for her benefit can definitely misuse the power to dethrone Dixits.

i feel handing keys back to RR is like handing one pair keys to the burglar with the hope that they won't steal anything.

I agree with you Nitu. I did not like the move. First thing Sonakshi did not honour Iswari by informing her of her decision. Secondly Iswari might have thought of making RR powerless and Sonakshi did the opposite. I am not sure of RR changing overnight. First time I kind of disagree with Shaavi's view.

Always good to see positive thoughts and explanations on situations! Yes, what Sona did was right but she was wrong in doing it without telling Ishwari first.

Hi there, lovely post. I agree with your point of view... I also really hope that some good comes out of it and I love how you said that she wouldn't steal from her own house which is so true...and by making someone a part of the family will make them feel wanted and loved and might stop them from plotting against the family - although, it is hard for a person to change especially if they've been plotting and wishing evil for others almost all their life...

Shaavi..nice post..i.really hope ur all words come true..but i dnt have much expectation..sona has always been good twrds gkb...and has given more respect and care than gkb deserved..but no change..anything big need to happen to change her perspective..i think except vicky none is fully dark..so redemption of gkb is expected..for vicky something big is coming his way, i think..sona's intentions were right, but i personally didnt like the way she executed..

Thanks everyone for your response. 😊 . The giving back of the keys to maami is definitely something that can have either positive or negative consequences. Continuing from the original post, I feel that this key is the wedge that will divide the partnership of maami and Vickky. It is true that maami didn't hesitate even for a single moment before burning her own house to come and live in IN. At that time both maami and Vickky had a common goal. To enjoy the luxuries of IN. Once they reached there, their greed started to grow. While maami wanted control of IN, Vickky wanted control of IDC(Ishwari Dixit Communications). Maami wanted to be in the same place as Ishwari and Vickky wanted to be in Dev's place. Since their goals were common, their partnership worked and were able to throw Sonakshi out of IN, which resulted in them achieving their goals.

But they knew that they can anytime lose their places if the trio(Dev, Ishwari and Sonakshi) came back together. That is why they tried very hard to keep these 3 apart. But now the trio are back and have each other's back. They are a team now. With Sonakshi coming back maami's worst nightmare came true. She did lose the keys. If Sonakshi had not given back the keys then the maami Vickky team would remain as they were. But when Sonakshi gave back the keys it created a power imbalance. Maami right now maybe happy to have the keys back and think that Sonakshi is a fool. It is also true that Sonakshi has not really thought this way. But nevertheless it has created a power struggle between maami and Vickky. While maami still has the power, Vickky doesn't. Dev is back in office as the head and is asking questions.

For me it is like this. There are 2 chairs, one is IN, the other is IDC. For the last 7 years maami and Vickky occupied these chairs with very little resistance. Even if they got off these chairs it wasn't noticed by others as they were in their own sorrows. When Ishwari took the keys both maami and Vickky lost these chairs. By giving back the keys Sonakshi gave back the chair to maami. But Vickky has not got the chair. He is struggling to hold onto his chair. He needs maami's help more than ever to do so. For maami to give that support she will have to get up and leave the chair. She is in such a position where she has to either keep her power or let go of her power to help Vickky gain power. There is uncertainty in Vickky being able to gain power. The goals of maami and Vickky have changed. They are no longer the same. Vickky has already made it clear that he will not share his plans with maami. Now that maami has power she will be less inclined to give it up unless Vickky can prove that his plan is foolproof. This will lead to the breaking up of the duo. It will not happen in a day, but the day is not far.

On the other hand the goals of the trio are common. They have each got what they wanted. Sonakshi has got the executive decision making power. Dev is happy to have both Ishwari and Sonakshi in his life where they are a team. Ishwari is no longer insecure of her place in Dev's life. Given that these 3 are in comfortable positions with each other. Maami cannot really manipulate one against the other. Their common goal is towards each other and hence they have become a unit now. There is a role reversal with the partnerships where earlier the trio were weak and the duo were strong now the opposite is true.

The other thing is the running of the house. As Lakshmi mentioned in another thread, it is true that maami has been catering to her family for the past 7 years. She has been taking care of her family and their needs. But that has already changed. Ishwari is back in kitchen. She already threw out all those things that mattered to maami and family. It is no longer just maami's family needs that maami will have to manage. She has to now make sure to take care of Dixit family likes, dislikes, their choices etc. She has to make sure that the kitchen is stocked with things that Sonakshi wants. In a way maami is now the housekeeper of Dixit family. She is answerable to Sonakshi and Ishwari if anything is amiss. It is now maami's responsibility to make sure that the food that is on the table is acceptable to Sonakshi and Ishwari. Maami who didn't want to work will be forced to work if she wants that key with her. Very soon the keys will become like the hot ghee which she cannot swallow because it is hot but will not be able to spit cause her greed won't let her.

This is also a lesson for Sonakshi. Even during being an employee, she started looking at Dixits and Tripatis as one unit. Towards the end she fused them together and for her it was Trixits vs Boses. With her giving the keys she is still considering Tripatis as family. It is still Trixits for her. Based on what maami does and Vickky does and the consequences, slowly she will start differentiating Dixits and Tripatis. Something that is very much needed for the future of Dixits. Whatever the consequences are it lies at Sonakshi's feet and she cannot say I did not get support. She will slowly start realizing that good intentions doesn't always yield good results. Sometimes you have to adjust based on the consequences. The lesson in relative morality.
