I am really liking the fact that Sonakshi's mask is fading and how. 😃 . It is not being peeled slowly or little by little. It is like waxing. 😛 . If looks could kill, today Payal would be a pile of ashes by the time Sonakshi was done with her. 😃

After today's episode, the precap and the segment where Dev gets slapped and Sonakshi questions Dev regarding that, I feel we will see these 2 things. One is Sonakshi seeing Dev dancing with Payal like how Dev saw Sonakshi dancing with Ritwick. The other is "talli" Sona. One does not need to drink something like scotch to become inebriated, even wine, tequila, margarita can have the same effect. 😆 😆 . Maybe that will be the only way she can confront Bijoy similar to what Dev did with Ishwari?. 😆

I watched the family selfie episode and from what I saw Ishwari did look changed and hopefully she stays the same. She did accept her faults during the infertility track. What happened in the next two days?? Over there as well, Sonakshi was doing something for Ishwari. But from my inference the show is coming to end (my opinion, so happily disagree with this), so this change is permanent. This changed Ishwari itself will help Sonakshi overcome her fear. Regarding Bijoy, he will change if he comes to know Vicky's role in their ousting. Before that, he will continue to become insensitive.

With this, I have a personality disorder for Bijoy as well. I am adamant on proving that every character in the show is suffering from a personality disorder lol. After the seven year leap, his insensitivity and over protectiveness can be explained through this.

Anyways it is called as Anankastic personality disorder.

Happy and overjoyed seeing Dev in such a playful mood .Finally the original Dev Dixit is again in control. Loved his every expression,every gesture every line...he just rocked.

He deserves this phase.I could feel his helplessness,pain,anger,jealousy throughout Ritwick track. He suffered a lot. Now it is Sonakshi's turn She should feel how heartbreaking it is to see her beloved with some other prospective suitor.

That pain will shake her from the roots and then she will be questioned by her own conscience ...Whether the reward she will get is really worthy enough that she should forego her love and bear the pain. Ofcourse the reward will be the applause she will get from her father who will reestablish her as the strong and independent woman he wished to see her as.

The alarm bell is ringing ofcourse and Sonakshi is now cornered from all sides by her promises to Bijoy and Iswari and by Dev's sudden exhibition of his excitement to move on in life.

The only way left for her now is to clear the mess she herself created around herself and around the people who willingly left the reigns in her hands.

Hopefully she would realise that it is easy to control the steering wheel but not the suppressed feelings that will suffocate her if she won't let them come out in the form of expression.

This is the time for expression of love. Not the time to deceive herself and others around

I was bubbling with excitement to read the discussion between Shaavi's curiosity questions and Sam's exquisite answers. kudos to you both ladies👏 Sam such naainsaafi to be free making post after posts when am unable to participate?!😡😆 But must say dear, each post is such a delight to read😳

Shaavi special mention to your xray vision of figuring that orange color belt amidst of Dev's grey suit, I really rewatched the episode only to be amazed by your sharp eyes and drawing parallels with that! Like others mentioned, really good to see you all chilled up😳

Grace, my views on Bijoy coincide with Narshi's and Sam's views so will built on the same for your request😳. Frankly I am not irritated or angry with Bijoy at all, infact pitying him for being so naive about his circumstances, just like I used to feel for Ishwari pre first breakup. We viewers know the entire story and hence restless to see Bijoy behaving insensible/insensitive but let me see him from his POV for a while.

Its a known fact in Indian culture every daughter especially the first one is very very special to every father because he always fear about her future once she steps out of his protection especially thinking about the uncertainty of her happiness after marriage which will be out of his control. So he makes sure his daughter is treated like a princess while she is with him siding with all her mistakes and giving distinction even to her average performance in all department. But same won't be the case with sons because blame our patriarchy system their placenta is never detached till they die unlike daughters who needed to uproot their very existence and branch out to support another family as her own😳 So daughters are always given special treatment compared to sons by fathers ( How many times have you seen father supporting late waking daughters scolding mothers not to disturb her while kicking son's asses to move out of bed?😆). So Bijoy is a normal father who did the same mistake every father does for his princess- making her believe she is indeed special and flawless (whether it is the correct way of bringing up a girl child is other topic to debate but we can't hold just him responsible for this flawed pattern of upbringing 😳 , frankly I have always loved and take pride when my dad praise my cooking sky high just to make me special when in reality its the total opposite while growing up😆)

Bijoy is the father who saw Ishwari's "employee trapping boss" taunt, Sona's "brutal heartbreak" after first breakup and Dev's "Deewangi" stopping his daughter's prospective future with Ritwick but Sona's restlessness and Asha's reasoning made him take the risk to oblige to his daughter's happiness with the shaken trust validated with Dev's approach to prenup (can we blame him?).

After marriage all he saw was Ishwari's intrusion, Tripati's taunts, Dev's lies to please his mother in infertility finally leading to that ugly accidental slap with his daughter abandoned with a "get out" once again heartbroken. When all he needed was calm time to recompose, he was chucked out to cry on the streets by that same Dixit family. Can we expect a typical father to be sane and calm after all this?

Bijoy has witnessed his daughter's silent cries and struggles with the new born baby for all those 7 years when the so called loving Dixits never ever attempted to reach/search for them and he was bound to grow that unshakable mistrust and angst on this family his daughter once loved! Even after leap all he saw was Casanova Dev hammering his daughter's office, maligning her honor in award show, barging son and mother duo asserting rights on his granddaughter, stealing ex-SIL to insult them infront of Ronita's family, arrogant and pushy Dev who whisked his daughter and granddaughter at midnight !! Even Dev's acceptance and Sona's assurance weighed less compared to above circumstances for him trust Dev fully.

Now the new changes in Ishwari has also raised doubts and also validated with Sona's sulking face how she is using his daughter only to get her son married again. Bijoy has no clue about changed Dev and Ishwari which entire Bose family is aware of. The beautiful communication before leap which kept him sane is missing in post leap. I agree with Shaavi here that its entirely Sona's fault to keep his father in dark wearing her pretense mask that she is indeed strong as he believes. So he continues to pray that Dev and Dixit move far far away keeping his daughter's strength and happiness intact😳Sona need to show her father what kept her alive in those 7 years, not her strength like he thinks but Dev's love in the form of Suhana !!

Infact Bijoy is a better father who wishes good life for Dev even if its with another girl (though for selfish reasons), my father would have cursed the hell out of his whole family for moving on while his daughter is stuck with memories😆

Really? What about her assurance to Bijoy that there is nothing left between them both? And she also told Asha that he is just Soha's father.

Why should any one curse Dev for moving on? Firstly he is doing it because of Sonakshi.

Secondly Sonakshi herself tried to move on with Ritwick. So no one has a right to blame Dev,especially not Bijoy who wanted Sona to marry Jatin.

Although Bijoy accepted Dev half heartedly, he was ready to accept him provided he kept his daughter happy. You see during Masoorie track, dinner as well as the clothes folding drama, he sided with Dev. All he asked for was to keep his daughter happy but all the time during their marriage he saw how his daughter got hurt and was mistreated. I will also like to say this that his fears were validated by Dev and Ishwari's actions just like Ishwari's fears were validated by Sonkashi's actions. But the difference is while Bijoy's fears were there for all the right reasons, the same can not be said for Ishwari.

But you said every daughter in India is treated like a princess in Indian culture? If that's the case, how will you attribute this characteristic to the daughters who are buried alive? Infact, very few daughters , not only in India, but in whole sub continent are treated in that manner. So, if a girl is treated in a special way, that is indeed a blessing for her. (my opinion)

Secondly, it is not only Sonakshi who is keeping things from him. Asha is also responsible for not sharing pertinent details to Bijoy. She chose to hide the theft incident, Soha's fever, Sonakshi's stay for an extra week and now Sonakshi helping out Ishwari in her struggles. If Sonakshi is responsible for not opening her heart to Bijoy, Asha is responsible for keeping him in dark regarding incidents which will help him change his perception.

With this, the anankastic personality disorder that I attributed to Bijoy is because he has become rigid in his thought process (regarding the Dixits), tries to control situations because he feels he was unable to control things before. He has very little tolerance for complexity and now attributes Dixits as wrong people.

He tries to control Sonakshi's life in particular because he has seen how he was unable to help her daughter getting hurt the first two times. Now he feels she will again break her heart, so he has decided to take the reigns in his hands. But then why does he feel the need? Because of how many things are kept hidden from him as well as Dev's behavior with him. Not only this, Deeps has stated how after leap, he hasn't been able to see any change in the Dixits.

@Deepa. Wonderful come back post. But usually posts like those raise questions in me. So here I go. It is true that Bijoy has seen all the things you have mentioned. But in all these why he never saw his or his daughters contribution to the same. Why does never once he thought that both he and his daughter needs to introspect or retrospect. Why he assumes that he and his daughter are above reproach and that they are superior to Dev and Dixits. He is someone who preaches truthfulness and honesty, yet told his daughter to not reveal that she is planning to open a company and is looking for loan. How right is this hypocrisy. Is Bijoy really just a protective father.

Not intended to hurt anyone. When I usually write posts, I don't really judge them and am as unbiased as possible. Maybe I am critical of Sonakshi or Bijoy since they most of the time preach but not follow their own advice. When it comes to them following their own words, they turn back which makes me think. That gets reflected in my posts. What I am happy with current episodes is Sonakshi who always was able to wriggle out of the consequences by using her words is now trapped in the same because of her own words. She now has no place to go and no way to hide her true self. I for one want to see the real Sonakshi.
