This is why rescuer syndrome isn't actually a selfless syndrome. In order to control your own insecurities and vulnerabilities you use other people which is what Sona is doing now.

I'd argue that Sona doesn't actually think there is anything wrong with Dev or Ishwari right now.. she's not admitting the truth out of pride. Out of fear of appearing weak or vulnerable. If she has to admit that she still loves Dev.. that would mean she was lying to herself all these years. That's not strength.. that's weakness which she can't admit to. That's why she has to break first.

Wonderful just right. Actually it has become a common line for most of the viewers that Dev has to stand up. Iswari is insecure. But you raised the valid point Sonakshi doesn't want Dev to stand up against Iswari.She is more concerned for her than Dev himself. To fulfill her wish she even sidelined Dev's feelings which he clearly spelt out that he can not give her place to any one. It proves the point. Sonakshi holds Iswari in high esteem.

Another valid point you said is if Sonakshi really thinks life in IN is complicated with Dev and Iswari how could she suggest another girl to jump into that life? So it is clear that Sonakshi doesn't think it a miserable life or she is selfish enough to make another girl suffer like she did.

By all means like you said Sonakshi doesn't have any problem to live with Dev alongside Iswari. She is pretending because she wants to uphold her father's belief that she is a strong independent woman who can face anything in life She considers her love for Dev as her weakness.

I wish she will let go off her false pretences and embrace the truth for once. Today's episode certainly indicates that her realisation is on the way.

I have a doubt. Why was Sonakshi driving the car in the precap. I mean during Dev's goon attack track, he tells that she doesn't know to drive properly yet, that she hasn't learnt it yet. In the precap Dev was not hurt and was capable of driving. Yet it was Sonakshi in driver seat. Is that an indication that Sonakshi will be the one driving their relationship in the upcoming days. 😆 . Just wondering.

Shaavi during dinner episode, when dev send car for Boses, at that time he said that after goon attack Sonakshi has learned driving and now she drives everyday, so it time for her to sit back and relax at back seat. N sonakshi also said that she is a fast learner.

M sure Sonakshi must have insisted to drive to release her anger somewhere. 😆

Shaavi, please dont give these kind of shocks with your predictions yaar. Ek baar in her hunger to make everything perfect madam ne apni shaadi ki band bhaja dhi. Us bechara ki halat deko, kya se kya bangaya dev babu? I am seriously enjoying this DEV DIXIT who is in full control of his life and rightly showing everyone their deserved places.

Coming to her driving, i think in one of the recent episodes i heard her saying i too can drive now since i am learning it. Didn't remember the episode number exactly.

I feel this part of the song is very suitable for Sonakshi. Only she can tell what is in her heart, be it her love or her fears. No one else can do it for her. True that others can come up with their own version what they think she wants, but only she can say what she really really wants from life. 😃

WORD to everything you said above. There is nothing to add but still i will mention the same reply which i gave you as part of one of the convo in our previous thread.

@shaavi, it's a million dollars question even from my side. What is the need to wear a mask all the time. Leave about sharing her true feelings with Dev. As a viewer, at least for once I want to see her true self. Every one had their own perceptions about what she wants based on the facade she wears before them but no one knows what exactly she thinks or wants. For once, can she sit before a mirror and face her true self. I really really want to know.

I some times really feel pity for Dev because even viewers doesn't know what exactly sona wants so they have their own perceptions based on her facade with which they pass their judgement regarding dev's actions. This guy is the bali ka bakra for everyone.

Some times i feel just because this guy always call her perfect even people started taking this literally and thinks that he is not deserving to be in her life since he is imperfect. What i feel is when ever he says she is perfect that doesn't mean she is flawless, it means you are perfect the way you are with your beautiful soul along with all your imperfections.

I feel that she stopped to learn driving after separation since it reminded him of Dev . She started learning again after meeting him... it's like what asha mentioned yesterday to ishwari that she has started living her life again... things that Dev has got again in her life and she is embracing them.
Too bad that she thinks she can let go of this happiness once again.
About their she taking a lead in their relationship...let Dev dixit remain how he is now... I like him this way.. he has been lost for a long time. But it's true that she is the one who ll have to decide and stop him as she pushed him away despite of him refusing multiple times.

Episode was awesome , I thought... asha - bijoy scene was also too good!

I wasn't actually predicting in the sense of what she did 7 years back. I was thinking more of what needs to be done. Although the one who sits behind the wheel drives the car, the one in the passenger seat is the "navigator". He decides the path to take to reach the destination. In a way it is the navigator who is in control of the journey. Also from current track, just by Sona confessing her love to Dev, she cannot just come back to IN. There is still "mission Bijoy" they need to complete before that. For that Sonakshi is the one who will play the major role and Dev will be in supporting role. He will steer Sonakshi to help her overcome the barriers for their reunion. That is what I meant. 😃

@Shaavi: I feel like Sona driving in the precap is a direct reference to Dev's giving her the reigns of their equation, and his life. Ever since he mentioned it at the dinner, he has been driving but not making a huge deal about it. By teaming up with Ishwari against him, and insisting that he get married, Sona has wrested the steering wheel out of his hands. Dev tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen so he is letting her learn the hard way. I also think Sona might insist on driving as a control thing. She feels like she is losing her handle on Dev and the situation when he agreed for the marriage so readily, without consulting her, so she grabs the literal driver's seat in order to reclaim a sense of order. Judging by her reactions in the precap, it doesn't seem to be working too well for her. 😆
