I think it is more to do with how she was never punished or made to realise in hard way what she did to her son and his wife. Also it is hard to stomach the fact that the credit for these two uniting will be given to her. That Dev himself has very little realisation or appreciation for Sona and the Bose family

Thank you Maharathi for the positive comments. To those who could see through her and the reason behind her behaviours, Ishwari was only a person who could have been managed by assuring her that she will never be abandoned. So, partly the blame was with Dev, who couldn't understand this and convey the same to Sona. But, now that Dev has understood what he should have done, let's see how the trio is going to take the journey forward.

Ankita...It's because we are not being able to forget what all she had done to our Devakshi...So, to ease your difficulty, I would ask you a question. Before I go to the question, I would like to say that, I am just asking you a imaginative question inorder to help you to step into other's shoes and think. So. my question is, If this happened with your brother & sister in law and your mother is the reason for it; and then later if your sister in law is ready to forget & forgive everything and come back into your brother's life, will you tell her not to do so or will you tell your brother to leave your mother alone and go & settle with his wife. I hope no. So, that's it. If we would try to see Ishwari as somebody who needed some help in overcoming her insecurities, we will not feel that bad against her.

Thank you Anku for not feeling bad for using personal example and for taking it positively. It's just that life's experiences has helped me to see circumstances, not like a horse with blinkers; but having a bird's eye view on it.

Thanks for the meaningful post Grace...
Mkes perfect sense...but i just wished they had concentrated more on Ishus realization with monologues or 2/ 3 scenes delving on her confused thoughtprocess...the thing i see is the fast pace or rushing ...Tats why many like me are confused or dissatisfied...Her instropection required detailing n time!

I dont know if I missed something here, but I always thought that Ishwari didn't take the medicine from Sona because Rr was present.RR had just emotionally blackmailed Ishwari saying that she didn't mean anything to her and Ishwari RR to apna nahin samajhti and all that crap.

Ishwari( at that state) was physically and emotionally weak and vulnerable.Plus she felt guilty about everything and fell for RR's blackmail. That is why when Asha gave her a glass of water she didn't drink it but drank the same water from RR's hands.Similarly, though she had absolutely no misgivings for Sona, she didn't take the medicine from her because she was afraid that would upset RR.

Once she reached home and became physically better ,she also became emotionally clearer. So I don't think Ishwari's behaviour changed overnight. She felt the same way for Sona in the hospital too, but in her bid to please RR she behaved differently.

Problem is not change in Ish..that had to happen some day but it happened way too fast. Something that lasted for 7-8 yrs resolved in 2 days is unbelievable. CVs seem to be in a rush to show Ish positive...which has led to Sona forgetting everything Ish ever said or did to her or her family, infertility track which is difficult to comprehend. Episodes r good but the rush makes it illogical. Had the same happened in few weeks time, gradually building Ish Sona relationship, then it wuc have been perfect.
Resolution of Ish's insecurities was the core plot of the show which was build up in 300 episodes but resolved in few hours over dinner.

Absolutely, I think same what you have written. For me Ishwari has never seen Dev, Soha & Sona together. Now when she has seen them together and that too so so happy has forced her to introspect her mistake. I do not think change is sudden.

Mehar, Ramadan Mubarak and thank u for the nice comments. I agree that for some of us, we needed a detailed presentation. But, for some viewers, more screenspace for Ishwari meant continuation of negativity; maybe that's why the makers have taken this way. But, since Sona's break down is pending, I hope some points like the damage caused by Ishwari in the prenup & infertility issues will be touched.
