Just yesterday he hear his mom talking that she doesn't think Dev and Sonakshi should be together. Today when she says you both get married...would he not put these two things together?

I mean even if he forgot the whole tamasha that happened 7 years ago, with prenup signing, or Ishwari's blatant lies about Sona-Jatin at the beginning, why is he unable to realize the insecurity? What else will make him realize that his mom is insecure.

When it comes to his mother, he forgets every thing. He just wants three women in his life, Ishwari, Suhana and Sonakshi. They have to live together.
1. Live with his God ie his Mother.
2. Live with his soul mate and the love of his life.ie Sonakshi
3. Live with the apple of his eye ie Suhana
No one should come between them.

That is his aim. Even Golu isn't not in his list. He ignores Golu.

Even if dev doesn't say it on ishu's face that he has heard all that but dev can't act all naive and clueless again on.his and sona's reunion and what his mother really wants. Now CVS just can't make dev act like he really believes that ishwari really wants devakshi back. Becoz it will be foolish to.some other level

There is no consistency in the characters.

Post leap when his mom asked him to marry he said strongly no and Esh didnt have a problem.Because he was single😆.Now that he is getting closer to Sona she wants to chop off😆 his happiness.

Its only Dev for Ishu .She puts on a mask of caring dadima and manupulating.😡
