Yeah, but why will Sona agree to such demands. N if they get married just because of Ishu maiya's bhookh hadtal, then it would be really silly. I mean they are not ready to come together because of Soha and now again without sorting their differences they get married then it will be deja vu of their first patch up.
Honestly my head is spinning because of these spoilers and news going around.
What's ur take on it Shaavi.

Chaaru, in season 1, the tracks were going mostly in linear fashion. There were sub plots, but these were so minor that it was easy to see how the story would unfold. The same was still the case in season 2 till Dev, Sona and Soha came back to IN. Since then the way the story is unfolding is like a spider web. Multiple tracks are played simultaneously. The same plot is parallel to multiple plots in different timelines from season 1. The viewpoint of such plots also changes with the different characters. Right now it feels like there are multiple spiderwebs overlapping each other in such a way that it is not easy to predict the direction the story will go.

The way I am seeing it is the series started with Dev creating a situation where Sonakshi is kind of forced to come work for him @ IN. The story then progressed to them getting to know one another, become friends, lovers, breakup, reunion, marriage and then breakup again. The second breakup following the revelation of infertility is kind of reaching a wall. After the breakup, it is like Dev and Sonakshi are on either side of the wall. The season 2 began with Sonakshi and Bose family climbing the wall and coming to the same side of the wall as where Dev was. They might have moved backwards slightly from that wall, but they are not very far from it. All of them are still in a very similar place as they were 7 years ago with misunderstandings, lies, hidden secrets and agendas and most of the characters have not really learnt anything from what happened.

With the spoilers and the thought process of each characters, the CVs have a few options to proceed the story with which is not just one path. Based on which path the CVs chose, other multiple paths come into play. Hence do not really want to predict anything. 😃 . But whatever it is, it looks like it is going to expose some hidden truths, not all of it, but some to begin with. The way infertility track ended the relationship, the current track of "hidden things being revealed", is possibly to reintroduce those relationships. Then the story will move backwards.

As to the remarriage talks, it is very tricky with the way the characters are positioned. Dev has confessed multiple times now regarding his need for Sona independent of Soha. He no longer is hiding his love and is not talking to Sonakshi just as Soha's mother. Sonakshi on the other hand is hiding her true feelings and more importantly deflects any time she is asked to reflect on either her actions or words. When I say she is asked to, no one might actually say that you need to reflect, but the situations and consequences of her actions itself should be enough for her to do the needful. But she is right now ignoring it but it is the need of the hour from my perspective. Sonakshi needs to start owning the outcome of her actions when they are less than ideal than what she expected. She should no longer keep passing the blame when the consequences are questioned.

Dev right now has heavily introspected, has started to realize his mistakes, like how in today's episode he told her that when he is angry he gets impulsive. He has started accepting his flaws. But Sonakshi has not once owned any of her flaws. Unless she realizes that she needs to accept herself, her flaws and faults and try to correct them before pointing out the flaws and faults in others or correcting them, there is not much point in Dev and Sonakshi's remarriage.

Another important thing is what was told during the launch time of the show. It was said that this show was the journey of a mother who learns to accept the other woman in her sons life, grows from being a mother in law to a good mother to her DIL. For this to happen, Sonakshi should willingly and knowingly become the DIL, not because she was forced. She needs to be ready for the relationship even when the result is not idealistic. She needs to stand by her decisions. She also needs to think before taking decisions, take into consideration all the different aspects and consequences of it. More than anything she needs to accept that she is not perfect and she needs Dev as much as he needs her. Just like he says you complete me, she needs to say the same.

Right now I am looking forward to the journey and am just enjoying the ride. 😆 . Not really wondering too much about spoilers. 😃

Thanks Abie. That's what we do here. We analyse the heck out of the writing/characters till there is nothing more to say 😃 and then some more

To add to my comments about Bijoy earlier, today the writers truly stumped me. Bijoy actually owned the decision and made a categorical statement about this stand on the Dev-Sona marriage. Right or wrong, but he has made his position clear. I don't know when and how is Asha going to tell Sona or her fellow devakshi shippers this news
Because I think this is a fundamental shift in the story. So far, he had made all sorts of claims but always looked at his family to support him. Today he claimed his right over the safeguarding of his daughter's happiness.

Sona now is thankful that her baba came to help her shove her feelings at the back of the freezer where no one can see or feel them. Otherwise if this man who goes by the name of Dev Dixit has his way, he would bring them out in the open.

We got to be ready for some awesome colours of hidden love.

So what if Bijoy was all gleeful about it.. A stark contrast is Ishwari's kids. Do any of them speak to her rudely because she carries a constipated look on her face? No they dont. Bijoy needs to be shown how Soha needs to love of both families (and perhaps that's where the precap is leading to).. But not by yelling at him. I am trying to analyse why Bijoy acts/acted the way he did. I understand why Saurabh acted the way he did. However, there are better, polite, kinder ways to handle this

Mind you, Soha said she wanted to stay in IN after Sona asked her that question. What is a child likely to say? Where are the boundaries with the child?

A child of an alcoholic usually becomes an alcoholic or marries one. I think the point of that is that we all end up recreating our childhood dynamics in our own lives until we start to understand those issues.

Saurabh's reaction to Bijoy is how he has seen Bijoy behave. That's the method of dealing with conflict Saurabh has seen and grown up with. Of course there are far more effective methods of dealing with conflict but we often unconsicouly repeat what we see in our own house. I think part of that is that Saurabh doesn't calmly and politely explain to Bijoy why he is wrong because he is not used to his father understanding his point of view. So he behaves in a way that fulfils that prophecy. If Saurabh changes how he reacts in that dynamic it is likely that Bijoy will start to see him as an equal adult and would hear him out. But for that Saurabh needs to believe that Bijoy is capable of seeing reason.

Ishwari's dynamic with her kids is different. Ishwari employs a lot of emotional blackmail in response to conflict and in turn her kids have learned to employ those tactics. On an equiavlent scale I feel Neha, the less favored child, has been equally harsh in terms of emotionally blackmailing Ishwari.

OMG DQ 🤗, meri bichdi hui behena , thats me on you right now after reading your posts on Bijoy 😆

I can't thank you enough for making me feel less miserable for feeling bad for Bijoy. I seriously felt like a misplaced alien trying to fathom myself why I couldn't be happy with Saraubh's outburst, why I felt Bijoy's pain more over his self pride and ego as highlighted by everyone in forum , why I strongly felt he was wronged in tuesday's episode, etc etc inspite of so many responses in my post but thanks dear for pepping me that am intact human..am glad I decided to read this thread completely today...no wonder we both are peas of same pod in terms of gutter or emotions😆.

@Everyone : Great discussions on Ishwari, Dev's balancing between Golu-Soha and of course the hot topic of Bijoy as well😆 It doesn't matter how long this serial runs and which course it takes, I am going to savor all you writers inside this thread for lifetime. Such talents!!👏 Its my privilege to get to know you all in much deeper levels! Doesn't matter whether our opinions match but the maturity of every member inside this thread handling that difference is what something I want to take with me to savor!!

After watching today's precap, my wicked brain laughed to heart content. Before leap Ishwari's swallowed words managed to break Devakshi unintentionally but today when she said " You and Sonakshi need to get married" I thought hell she might mean separately but Dev this time very conveniently will think mummy dearest asking her ex bahu back for his and Suhana's happiness and to rectify their so called behmaani rishta(thanks Sam) and might say "anything for your happiness mom" and run to Sona to convince her(already banda has screamed his heart for Sona, why won't he take this opp😉) to the horror of Ishwari🤣 That would be such an hilarious tit for tat masterstroke and I will end up howling vigorously😆

Just a funny thought guys..take a chill pill and enjoy the interesting episodes in the bank😆

After watching Bijoy and Asha conversation yesterday I felt Saurabh was not wrong in confronting Bijoy or showing him how interfering he is in his children's lives. Bijoy did not attempt to think what had provoked his otherwise polite son to raise his voice and bombard him in such a way. This is exactly the trait of Iswari who turns her back to truth or facts that glare in her face.
Bijoy went on defending himself by ascertaining his rights as a father to meddle with and take decisions on behalf of his children. Again exactly Iswari like attitude. Only difference is Iswari cleverly manipulates the situation and make Dev admit she has every right to decide anything for him. Bijoy doesn't manipulate he right away declares his right to decide for Sona or Saurabh.

Bijoy's over protectiveness crossed all the limits. Ideally he should go to Saurabh and ask him to elaborate what he wanted to convey. He should have convinced him he will try to understand his point and take things slow. He should have told Saurabh not to feel guilty for his behaviour since he,Bijoy had driven him to the corner and hence he lost his cool.

Bijoy has no such agenda. He is least bothered about the little girl who was brought up in his house. He doesn't feel her love and craving for her father. He won't understand how satisfied Soha is in IN by being with her Papa Mama and not to forget her Dadi. Like Iswari he would see only that part which is suitable and acceptable for him.

By declaring he won't let Sona unite with Dev Dixit he made it clear that he is least bothered of anything else but his own happiness. He feels happy if Sona stays before his eyes lifelong. For that if she has to forego her family life it is fine. Soha should stay only with Boses. He won't bother if Soha gets into depression for not being able to be with her parents. Finally he wants to show Iswari Dixit that his daughter doesn't need her son neither does his grand daughter.

So much applause I found for Bijoy the loving and protective father. I differ because my father is just the opposite to Bijoy. He is cool, calm, never loses his control, always lets his children take decisions by being supportive. I never saw him raise his voice on any one. Alas, Sona has to deal with such a selfish father who is just like Iswari. Both have this common trait.. They place their own happiness before their children's happiness.

🤣 This was my only take from yesterday's episode. If it's meant to be that way, the mother who inadvertently separated the lead protagonists would now be instrumental in bringing them together!! What a master stroke. And XGKB would be mentally torturing herself about how this plan backfired!
