We have to agree to disagree on this one though I felt that the episode was a feeble attempt by the makers to somehow recapture the essence of season one. I might have enjoyed it more if they had addressed the few uncomfortable elephants still existing in the show. The show earlier used to have very good and crisp writing where in every scene served a purpose and almost every issue used to be dealt with. But somewhere along the way the writers have lost it. May be in the coming weeks they might redeem the show back to its old glory.
And what kind of love is it that shines through only when not in ones senses? And dev drinks from a bottle for gods sake. Then what was the damn medicine that made him sprout all this true feelings hidden under layers of bad mouthing and rudeness and of course innumerable girlfriends?

I give up. I dont understand this show anymore. I know some are happy Dev-Sona and particularly Sona is taking it slow. But it honestly doesn't come through. I believe the writers are trying to show the conflict between dil and dimaag and how Dev-Sona keep convincing themselves that they are 'just friends' yet their hidden feelings come through once in a while. Unfortunately, instead of this conflict, what we see is two confused and bipolar people. Sona alternates between stern and coy and no nonsense and awkward while Dev alternates between confused/blank and smitten and lost. And am not sure about the characters on the show but this oscillation is super confusing to watch as a viewer. Like I can never be sure what they'l do next. And am not sure if its a great thing. Oh and Sona's devotion of Ishwari is nauseating to watch. Ishwari may be Mother Teresa Part 2 but it doesn't change the fact that she has been terrible to Dev-Sonakshi. Either redeem the characters or dont butcher them in the first place. This nonsense in between is very annoying to watch. The only reason why Dev-Sonakshi are entertaining to watch right now is because of Shaheer-Erica. The only reason why I even want them to get back together at some point is because of the actors and their chemistry, Take them away and there is nothing left.

Sorry tia I don't like cheesy romance like fall and drunken scene
Ekta kapoor track catches up in our show too
Kya haal banadi writers show ki
I feel vicky, gkb are 2 characters who are still in the same zone other characters are faking to be nice
Ur analysis is saving grace for me ur humor that makes the analysis a fun read
Thank u tia u have lot of patience to look through the show and give us updates.
I feel director killing time till supriyaji enters the show god knows when will she

Nothing interests me still in bahubali hangover I want to watch it again but I have some exams so may be next week I will watch in IMAX

😆😆 sahi pakde Hain.all these episodes are just filler for supriyaji absence .These episodes don't have any sincerity .If they want to show only friendship between divorced couple then they shouldn't have any fake and forced fall and cheesy eyelocks between.😆 Take away whole essence .That whole sona scolding Asha came across as fake only .in the end they will show sona saying "Ma you are right I need dev" and falls into his arm.

If you strike me down, i will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. Obiwan kenobi to darth vader in star wars

If you spike me down, i will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. Dev babu to radha rani in KRPKYB😛.

Dev babu drunk or truth serum spiked is more dangerous to radha rani and vicky than sober dev babu.

his thread is literally my saving grace. Thanks for the amazing Update. You have my respect.

I guess it was a bearable epi. Thanks to didi's brain cells which suddenly got activated.I got a glimpse of the Sona from prelap. However I do feel that the effect wouldn't last long, in a day or two Asha will be back on her preaching ways and Sona would obey her orders like a perfect daughter she is.Its just temporary.

What happened to bhaiya? Sorry, thank you and now being rational. Never thought I would ever see bhaiya being or at least trying to be rational. Why suddent change of heart.Never knew he had a rational bone in his body.Bhaiya didi should follow a different type of forgive and forget formula, instead of forgetting the problem forget the person.

I don't know why but I do feel that their relationship was doomed from the start.Bhaiya's first priority is his maiyya, he is sometime impulsive especially in sona related matters.Didi's behavior is unpredictable, sometimes she likes being doormat otherwise she can give it back too.

Bhaiya relayed too much on maiyya's decisions his own decisions were heavily manipulated by the mother dearest while Sona was taught to take her own decisions ,at least the prelap Sona was.

Elena is just perfect addition in the Vicky's family ,everyone in that family likes to poke their nose in other's business.

The Star Wars references🤣 I am a huge fan of the SW franchise and I never thought of any relevance of it to our show, but you people create parallels ex nihilo!😆

Excellent review Tia and loved your take on decision-making.
As for the epi, looks like they dragging /stalling until Ishwari's come back . I loved Sona's explanation to Asha but not sure how much of it Sona herself believes to be true.

Aur yeh kya tablet hai truth ugalwaane ka? I have heard of narco analysis test and truth serum. GKB toh ek step aage hai bhai but it will have ulta effect . Bhaiyya aur behna ki love story ab track pe aayega ( yes I have made my peace with it , no matter how stupid it looks ) . Kaash aise hi ek tablet koyi Ishwari ko bhi de dete !

Spoiler :

Elena reached a new low as per the SBS segment aired today.😆 Dev gets down the stairs, asks about Sonakshi to Elena and leaves to meet her. Elena smiles, records his voice and sends it to someone (must be Asha).

Elena is so jobless and shipping OT!

Without men a women can live alone it's proved time to time but the writers are sick why can't Indian tv show the reality instead
Man is needed when there is a equality in a relationship but not when he treats a women like trash
That's why I don't like cheesy romance after couple are broken it doesn't make sense
Because I have seen jyothi in my life I don't believe things going normal like they show in tv or serials
Reality is more harsh in women's life

Shailu, kudos to women like Jyoti. Of course women with strong conviction exist who respect themselves. And I personally prefer those women because I identify with them. Unfortunately there is not a single show where such women are portrayed on screen as the lead. As if being strong and having a strong conviction and refusing to "settle" under any kind of pressure makes them somehow unattractive. But being a weak willed woman who does not learn her lesson even after continuous kicks on her face and keep coming back for additional abuse, somehow makes a woman more worthy. I don't identify with them. But of course to each its own. I would rather just watch the stronger counterpart on screen.
