Whenever I rewatch the episodes, new thoughts come to me.

In the episode where Sonakshi gets to know that Dev lied about the theft, Dev says "marriage is between 2 people". Sonakshi replies that is is not and that "marriage is between 2 families" and acceptance of the families is important.

I the wedding episode when Saurabh and Ronita are feeling jittery, Dev tells Saurabh that he has nothing to worry about as "both the families have accepted this union". On the other hand Sonakshi tells Ronita that she has nothing to worry about as she and Saurabh "love and trust each other and that is the most important thing".

It is so funny that they remember what the other person says and forget what they say. 😆

Yay! Ek aur thread!

I was studying limits in Calculus when I realized something, so during my break I decided to write it, please bear with me! :)

One of Dev's biggest flaw I realized is the fact that he is extremely guilt oriented. That is the main reason many people can change his way of thinking. If you think about it Ishu, GKB, and Neha have manipulated him to do what they wanted due to this guilt. But even other characters use this same mentality to their benefit. Recently in the Dejoy lockdown, Bejoy was able to get an apology out of him not otherwise possible due to the fact that he used Dev's guilt as a bad husband to his benifit (not wrong). Even Asha when Dev questioned Bejoy meanly, used silence as a form of guilt evoking form. Soha uses this mentality to judge her father originally questioning the fact that he is a bad husband etc. The fact is if anyone pinpoints because of him they lost an integral part, Dev will accept everything being his fault without realizing it, this reason for me is what causes Sona to look at Ishu's faults being all of Dev's, and even enabling her to "forgive" Ishu rather than Dev. Dev doesn't realize that he is just as valuable as the people around him. He saw Ishu as a god, and saw Sona as being "hamesha correct", so he simply blames himself and goes. That's why it was always easy for Dev to admit he was wrong to people who have their shares of flaws as well. Subconsciously even Soha and Golu realize this flaw, that is why Soha tells her dad to say sorry and Golu questions Soha's rising importance and not his. That is what makes his situation sad, as everyone sees this except him even after so long.

Hi Aishu, good luck with your exams. What you have said is true and is one of the tracks of KRPKAB. What I mean is this is what the makers are planning for this season as is theme.

Ishwari will realize how her insecurities hurt Dev and took away his happiness and in a way ruined his life. For that she will start redeeming herself. But this realization and redemption is not sudden or all at once. It is slow and kind of like piece by piece. It will happen gradually.

Sonakshi will realize that it is hard to choose between 2 important people. She will realize what Dev went through thereby understanding his dilemma. This will help her to stop blaming Dev.

Dev will learn to stand up for himself and take right decisions because they are right and not try to please everyone. To not depend on someone else to be happy.

This is what was said in an interview by Yash Panaik.

Guilt and feelings of indebtedness are something that Dev needs to let go. I hope he does start taking a stand soon. 😊

OMG Shaavi! I actually noticed exactly this in these scenes!! 😳 It made me wonder , because it seemed like they both understood and had noted the others' POV re: marriage. Yay!!

Looking forward to all the decoding and writers' views and the exciting turn in the storyline this week! :)

👏👏 Well done my KRPKAB encyclopedia 😆. When I saw those lines during the episode, my mind couldn't comprehend the parallel relating to it though I felt am missing something and now after reading your post above, my tube light popped bright😆.

Dev and Sona haven't just changed their personality after leap but even their perspectives on marriage as well !! Oh thy beauty called KRPKAB !! ❤️

I am happy to see Khatri back; but not excited. because even without knowing what the raaz is, I knew it had something to do with DevIsh relation. And that's why I always felt bad for Ishwari...😊

Deeps, even before i joined the forum I was a regular reader of your posts. So, I had read your post 'What if the past is much darker?' much before. That's why I could see you as someone who shared my same thoughts...😊

Aww why this kolaveri Grace? 😲 Don't hurt yourself for fictions, but still when you ask so nicely how can I not fulfill your wish my silent follower?! Ye lo "Choice is yours" 😆

A very strange thought crossed my mind with respect to khatri. Wanted the opinion of you all on the same.

Remember when dev was once doing mummy pooja he said that once when we were given one day to pay the rent God didn't come to help us, it was you who somehow arranged the rent and saved us from being thrown out.
Khatri had also once hinted on something ishwari has done and her son not being aware of it.

Maybe ishwari was forced to sleep with khatri for saving her house and children. I am not condemning ishwari here. Howsoever much I dislike the character, I will have to respect her for this tremendous sacrifice for her children, if the story plays out this way.

What I am wondering is how will the future scenario play out-

Option one dev already knows this and sona will realise how much ishwari has suffered and will fall in love with her again. But I don't think this is possible else dev would have not been reminiscing his mother's saving them act so fondly. It would have been the darkest spot in his life.

Option two - truth comes out. Dev behaves like a jerk. Sonakshi drills sense into him and ishwari at last falls in love with sonakshi.

But here two more sub options might happen after this -

Option 2(a) Dev might start wondering what sona had to do as she was also left penniless. Then-

--He might either get very very remorseful and turns a new leaf

-- or go mad in jealousy and take Neanderthal avatar

Option 2(b) dev might start acting even more jealous of Jatin and feel that Jatin might be trying to use or had used sona the way his mom was used. So again becomes totally Neanderthal.

What is the opinion of you all?

But Payal, do you think Indian TV has grown so bold to show such daring act of a single mother who is still treated as " suffering Goddess" in our country? IMO how much ever progressive indian audience are, they can never digest a woman(esp a widow) selling her honor knowingly and that will degrade Ishwari even further and I doubt makers will go that route. If at all it is to do with Ishwari's honor, makers might show it as forced or unknown to Ishwari making audience sympathizing with her.

I was thinking what if Dev is indeed Khatri's (Ishwar's ex-lover) Son ? Too dramatic naa?😆

DQ🤗 you have opened my gutter floodgates I just want Ex-GKB and her laal to see this and may their whole body turn " extra laal" 😆. Imagine Ishu Maa entering same time thinking " Mera beta must be missing me, let me give the prasad to him first" only to see beta already savoring his fav prasad🤣 ... One permanent ticket to Vaishnavidevi mandir pleaaajjj😆

@Deepsel the show has broken many stereotypes so why not this one? The way Sona is behaving right now, has any female lead ever done. They will keep on trying to kill themselves for their sasural even after having been kicked, flogged and what not.
Also, is it so wrong for a mother to compromise her honour for saving her children? Indian society can't be that regressive. I remember once they showed long ago in Taliban occupied Afghanistan, a woman who was not allowed to work had to resort to prostitution to feed her children. You feel like respecting that woman for her immense sacrifice. It's easier to commit suicide, it's tougher to die on a daily basis.

By the way even I will love it if Dev turns out to be Ishwari's bhool ka phool. Ishwari ka band bajega.

@Aishu regarding Dev taking the guilt of everyone's actions on himself. This guy is not so blind. He deliberately becomes an ostrich as far as his family is concerned. Ask Dev to pray to God even once, just once that Suhana gets a MIL like Ishwari. He will break the head of the person making the suggestion.

Deepa, I don't know what you are talking about. I thought sanskari sona gets it from elena
Okay one last question. Who gives Dev his clothes from his wardrobe because he isn't allowed inside the room? 😉
