For all the speculations going around and the excitement among the viewers for Khatri's re-entry, I hope it doesn't turn out to be a damp squib. I know I was super excited for the infertility track to start and it was eventually the most shabbily handled track by the writers. So am keeping my expectations low here-

1. Ishwari compromising to make ends meet- If anything, it should make Dev worship his mom more. I mean he has been quite blind to her faults on a lot of occasions but this is one instance where I'd be sorely disappointed if Dev chooses to judge his mom for this. Cos if anything, it only strengthens the fact that she can go to any extent to protect her kids (keeping aside the immense emotional and physical trauma she must have gone through as a consequence).

2. Dev being adopted- For all practical purposes, Ishwari is still his mom. Unless she stole the baby (😆), I dont see how this will turn Dev against her. If anything, he will be more guilt-ridden that she loved him the most despite him being adopted and even gave preference to him over her biological kids.

3. Dev being her illegitimate child- Again I dont see why Dev should judge/hate her for this.

So yes, if it eventually has to come down to Dev hating his mom and Sonakshi understanding Ishwari and supporting her, it has to be something which both taints her character as well as invokes sympathy in Sonakshi (not sure about the viewers 😆) considering her struggles as a single mother. Now considering the way they have destroyed all characters and Ishwari in particular, this is going to be an uphill task.

P.S. I really hope there is no sexual/physical abuse angle. Its extremely sensitive and no one really deserves it. And I dont think the writers are competent enough to handle sensitive subjects (infertility anyone?).

I am having a different thought about the Khatri angle. I think may be Ishu is unknowing responsible for her husband and dev's father's death.may be Dev's father has forgiven her but it will be difficult for him to forgive her. If she has done any compromise or theft then it will get glorified and and her god image can come back. But if story is suppose to move like that dev is going to actually hate her and sona and soha is going to bridge her to dev then the reason should be strong. In the s1 sona gifted the photograph of ishu and dev means she is going to bring them together and in s2 when Ishu brought soha home for the first time soha hold the ishu's hand and bring her in. If any how Ishu is unknowingly put dev's father's life in danger responsible for dev's father's death the it will be difficult for him to forgive her because this time if she say mane kaya kiya I have done this for our betterment like in case of pernup then dev will be like a volcano. This incident has made a small dev in to Dev Dixit who has put his entire life for his family and mother who is bearing mammi and vickki for the debt has done by mamaji .

I also have the same feeling. It has something to do with Dev's father. Because, that's one thing that had shocked Dev a lot, to the extent that he lost faith in God. And it's one reason that has forced Dev to growup before his age and in one way is the reason of the Dev who he is now (not the business tycoon Dev; but the emotionally unstable Dev). With such an angle only, Dev can totally cut off himself from Ishwari.

It is really exciting to read different views regarding Khatri's entry. But I differ Khatri's arrival will make Dev hate Iswari. It is a known fact that Supriya is alarmed at the negative response her role got making her the most hated ch. in the history of TV serials.

Her role thereafter has been changed to some extent like she was shown not supporting GKB and Vicky in issues related to Sona and Soha. As a result even though she did not admit her self as faulty we see a different Iswari who prefers to mind her own business and spend with her grand daughter. Ofcourse we see her declare that she will change Suhana Bose to Suhana Dixit. Other than that we almost see her out of action,looking exhausted and different. I feel Khatri will be used to make Sona realise something related to IIswari that will show her side of story which is not known to Sona,Dev and viewers.

Asha's conversation with Bijoy points towards this change of equation between Sona and Iswari. I won't say Sonakshi will forgive and forget but she may definitely develop a soft corner towards her and see her in a different light. I strongly feel makers will never show Dev hate Iswari to that extent where Sonakshi has to bridge the gap. Supriya's reluctance and displeasure made me think in these lines. I don't know if I am thinking in right direction.

I feel Sona will definitely unearth the secrets of GKB and Vicky and bring them to task. They both will definitely have to endure the punishment. I may even think that in the end they will be asked to leave Dixit house.Waiting for interesting twists and turns...

Sorry to disagree with your point but unless and until sona becomes the bridge between dev and ishu her insecurities are not going to rest and unless and until they are not going to rest she will not understand her mistskes. That's what I think. And what supriya mam feels, is, not going to change the script or story no actor in case of our serial is having this, power. For some days, they required to show dev is, hate, or very much angry on ishu .

Sam thank you for the meta. It was brilliant and so thought provoking.

Enjoyed it. Shaavi and Mahua brilliant write up on the episodes. I felt so serene after reading it, like all the puzzles falling into place. Payal loved your take on Dev's thought process.

Hi Mahua. Brilliant analysis as usual. You have explained everything so beautifully. I would like to add one point if it is ok with you.

I think Dev's anger towards Sonakshi was also because of Sonakshi not respecting his wishes. What I mean is when he gave her the tray with home remedies, he particularly asks her to soak the leaves in water and then bathe Soha with that. When he comes to check on Suhana, the tray is still on the bed and she has not used the leaves as he had requested. For him that is very hurtful. Sonakshi is right that the medicines given by doct does work, but by him doing what Dev told would have made him feel better, that he was taking care of her and not so helpless. That Suhaana did indeed need him and he was doing right by her, was being there with her.

When he saw Sonakshi talking to Jothin it was more like she can take his suggestions and follow his instructions, but how come she cannot do just one thing I told her. Am I that bad or useless as a father. This is what prompted him more to talk to Sonakshi the way he did. As Sam said this is the trigger that is making him question her capabilities as a mother.

Just my thoughts.

Thank you Shavi.. I doubt that was the reason of his anger as Sonakshi quietly accepted his suggestion though In the beginning she mildly opposed it but then when he left she felt good about his concern and effort ..Also I have to check the scene once again to see tray..

Shavi Saumie has done a wonderful explanation regarding that scene do check it out even I feel his reason of getting upset was pretty simple the realization of the rghys he has lost on Sonakshi was major reason

Him questioning her as mothr in Thursday's epi were more like cover up I feel though in Friday's epi I feel Sonakshi could have stayed back to full time attend Soha no I dont mean just sitting by her side but should be available for her as kids gets cranky upset and irritated because of illness and who can handle them better then mothrs

Mahua, very sorry dear, I have taken up new volunteering work in my kids school which requires my presence everyday and the episodes are aired during my noon time and making it extremely difficult for me to post and share thoughts as I get too tired even at nights to stay awake late

Anyway when your house is safe and sound in capable hands , why the need to fret, likewise when you have so many capable analysts here whats the need for me here. I am extremely happy to just read and savor every post quietly without breaking my head too much

Woah

Had good time staying off forum for 2 days I soo needed a relaxed weekend enjoyed had family dinner shopped and felt much peaceful which isnt possible with KRPKAB LOL

Wow already so many speculations regarding Khatri..and the kind of ideas I see here ..Fun and amusing..thogh I am not much excited about this khatri suddenly appearing..and dont want to think about the reason of his amd Ishwari's connection..But I just wanna add the reason is not going to be too complicated or dramatic..its gonna be simple emotional one

Let's wait and watch :)

Don't know what will happen. Others r saying cvs bring khatri just to glorifying ishwari but I think khatri's presence will make distance between dev and ishu .
