I just want to no that if u sign a divorce paper and give that's it for the separation ...

I heard from my friends telling aft that also u ha e to go to court and counselling will b there for both of ppl...

And just to get through all the procedures it will take lot of time .

Like that wasn't there in sonas case or not...

If that would have been there as if Dev can't make out pregnant sona coming to court to do these procedures...

Since its TV show v should accept everything according to makers I mean cvs wish...

I feel like everyone takes too much liberty with the word 'bashing'. I am not saying that bashing doesn't happen in the forum but sometimes people are presenting their pov based on what level they relate to that particular character or scene. Fiction is, after all, inspired from real life.

What I do is prefer to discuss my pov with people who I resonate with and ignore other posts. Trust me, it saves a lot of unnecessary headache.

But I am fairly new to forum I know only little bit I caught from few episodes I watched in random.

But yes I should have not used word bashing but it all looks same for me.

For me to catch up forum is best place.

I don't know whose post are worth reading andbwhose are not.

Very few are writing about good and all are concentrating on bad. Like their is nothing good done by Dev ever in his life.

I am getting confused on what the story is about after reading few posts and adding to that I have to catch up whole story.

I have been in two forums before and very active there.

YHM that place I spent long and there was also groups Tgere either FL supporter or ML supporter.

I knew whole story and I know where i stand in third side neutral on both. There also it was happening but numbers were bit even and many are neutral tgere.

Then in ishqbaaz no anger was ever carried to second day.

Both the leads were mcps. And CVS butchered characters beyond repairs but their was such environment.

I didn't mean to point at you when I referred to bashing. I meant in general. I also recently joined the forum. I used to just lurk around and read posts while watching the old episodes simultaneously. It helped me form my own opinion on which character I support more and also, where I fit in this forum.

Again, this is strictly my pov. This show was started as a show which was not OTT and relatable to real life, real people and real emotions. People got attached to it bcz of that. But now, the vision of the show has changed. It was going in one direction and now everything is very random. Writers took too many creative liberties with the plot and left many tracks unresolved. Even if you watch episodes a week apart, the same character is saying and doing two completely opposite things. I think this has thrown the audience for a toss. People are not able to relate to any character completely, just some instances of their actions and behaviour. This is why so much bashing/criticising/venting happens in the forum.

I actually didn't mean what I wrote in opening post it's just frustration on bashing.
Usually forum is discussion place each have their ideas and pov but. This place looked out of place for me.
Almost every post I open looked like bashing Dev whatever he did. Their is that much hate here on him that I feel like he's a bad guy.

Actually I am glad it is long.

You made me know few facts I am not aware, only thing I know was they love each other married, ishwari don't like sona and separated.

Funny part is I am writing an ss on DEVAKSHI not knowing complete story, but readers help when I get doubt but I didn't get total summary.

Only summary was from wiki not helping much.

Please watch the show to find out on the below action items of Mr. Dev -

1. Breaking up with Sonakshi in a SPLIT of second assuming his mother is against Sona after making shitloads of promises to Sonakshi about staying together forever.

2. Stalking her post break-up. Before that in the beginning manipulating her to force her into accepting his job proposal.

3. Cancelling loan of a middle-class person Rithwik just because he was getting married to Sona POST break-up.

4. Going behind her back to start Infertility Treatment on her body AFTER saying to her that it doesn't matter to him kids or no kids.

5. Not acknowledging and waiting for her CONSENT to agree for the Infertility Treatment and promising to his Maa to give beta/ghar ka chirag.

6. 'Accidentally' slapping Sonakshi's father.

7. Calling Asha as Mother, then switching back to calling her 'Aunty' without ANY remorse.

8. Standing Sonakshi up at midnight in a hotel/restaurant and celebrating his birthday with cake cutting and partying with family.

9. Calling Sonakshi Infertile and good for nothing since she cannot even give birth to a kid. Mocking her profession. Declaring her to be proven as worst mother and that it's good she cannot give birth.

10. Asking her to GET OUT of his life and that marrying her was a mistake.

Hopefully you catch the above incidents/episodes, not even going to the hypocrisy of this man for his different set of rules with respect to his sisters/mother and his wife. Just the above profile is enough !!

I guess I have to reconsider watching serial or not.

I would still suggest you to watch the episodes. The first 100 episodes until the first breakup was too good 👏 The post break-up also can be handled since the guy was miserable and towards the end of it (Sonakshi's enagement) became respectful to her accepting a respectful separation. However, the biggest mistake (which many of us anticipated would lead to Devakshi separation) was for Sonakshi to agreeing to the emotional blackmailing of Ishwari and deciding to marry this guy without having his redemption. One should not take a decision to marry in a haste without properly checking if the guy is worth standing for her honour or not.

Post marriage episodes you can give it a try, but from personal experience I would say it's not so relaxing to see an educated self-respecting girl to be treated like that at in-laws and the husband acting nothing but like a jerk always ignoring his family taunts at Sonakshi (which was all over the place, too 'on yo face' to ignore), constantly lying to her, refusing to adjust with even a SMALL change like putting a swing at his room against Sonakshi's immense effort of adjusting to his family whims leaving her own home behind. The post-marriage attitude of Dev is where his downfall started and now with this added loafer attitude with disrespectful body language towards the elders along with the philandering way is just an added bonus and push to the fall of this character towards a bottomless pit.

And to answer your query about Sonakshi's formality - well when a guy through his actions has established a rock-solid belief in the mind of the girl and her family that he and his family is ONE unit, and that no matter what, he would always without questioning them would stick to them and never to her, we cannot really blame the guy upon getting such message from the house that they refused to meet her. For her, it can easily be interpreted in a way that Dev and Co. doesn't want to meet her. For any self-respecting lady it would be difficult to accept that she is nothing more than just a womb or incubator to produce the baby and that if she says she has a baby, ONLY then she would be accepted in the family. 😕 Sonakshi could have contacted Dev through mobile, but Dev's past actions have stopped Sonakshi from doing that. Can I blame her ? No. She aint perfect, but her flaws/thoughts are more I can personally relate to than the other party who is, I dont know what.

The main post & the above one...You have very well expressed the right thoughts...Sona very well knew how Dev yearned for their daughter...and so, at the very first hint of it, he would have come running down...What Sona had to do is to just place a phone call; there was even no need to come all the way from Kolkota...But whatever Sona does, she wants to be a mahaan in that...I just liked the example you have given above and I have bolded in green...That's what exactly Sona's action shows...And that's why Dev still blames her for hiding Soha and always uses saat saal, though Soha is only 6yrs old. He wanted to be with Soha, right from the moment she was conceived within Sona...That much he had yearned for their choti khargosh.
