Yesterday I read your reply when I was logged out and was like crazily 🤣, when my son started asking what happened...I tried to explain the reason, but since I didn't want to loose the humour by translating it to English, I just gave him a summary and again started laughing going thru ur lines...I was imagining a conversation between them in real and could feel Sudhaji's helplessness in those final words...🤣🤣...Thanks for making this serious thread a really enjoyable thread.

😆thank u for sharing Grace...🤗perfect contradiction if compared to Ishu...so made that writeup😃

Thank you, Grace for sharing this excellent letter.
Here's my letter to Ms. Sudha Murthy.

Dear Ma'am Sudha Murthy,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. But I just want to tell you that you might be successful and a woman of substance, but you are not a successful mother.

Nope... Sorry, but there is one woman in the whole wide world who deserves the title of Mother India (not womanhood because she is not a woman).

Now you must be wondering how she can be a mother but not a woman. Good question. No, no. It's not one of those modern approach of a man performing both roles of mother and father. It's the approach sanctioned by the Goddess that she is the only one who gets to be a mother without being a woman.

What Goddess you ask? Another good question. This is the Goddess who is situated in Dixit house and she is Dev Dixit's MOTHER as in she carried Dev in her tummy for nine whole months and gave birth to him.

Sorry, did you say every mother does it? No. It's not the same. You see, when she gave birth to a baby boy, the God showered rose petals, the temples bell rang and all the wise men and sages sang bhajan in front of her miracle womb which churned out three more daughters. But they are women hence irrelevant. Forget them, everyone has. Even the Mother herself.

Now she believes that being a mother means that you attach yourself on your son's (not daughters because who cares about daughters) back like the Betal of the famous Vikram and Betal fable.

She has gone through hardship of poverty and raising a child on her own. What did you say? Plenty of women do the same? Well, yes, they do. But remember they are women. She is not a woman. She is the only non-woman mother who gave birth the moment she was born so she kind of skipped the woman portion of her life. Hence Goddess as in Virgin Mary kind. In fact better than her. Mother Mary might have gave birth to Jesus Christ but hey, she was a woman so she is obviously inferior. I mean who can be a woman and actually superior. That's an oxymoron right there.

Now she did let her son get married to a woman. What? That's normal? No. That's not normal. Because you see, the normal and natural thing would be if like her, her son could create a baby the same virgin immaculate conception way. But unfortunately her son is kinda sorta human, so he needed an incubator.

However, the incubator actually dared to come between the baby girl and her son. Wait, who I am calling incubator? Well, the woman who gave birth to the baby girl of her son. What? You are asking if I mean the mother of her grandchild? No no. The incubator is not a mother. There is only one mother, remember? The incubator is a woman. And not only a woman, but THAT WOMAN who came in between her and her son and didn't conveniently die after popping out the kid.

Such an inconvenience, I tell you.

Now you must be wondering what kind of eff-ed up mentality is this. Well, to that I say, this is called Motherhood. Which you don't know, I don't know, I am pretty sure none of us has mothers like that. But apparently, they exist in this society.

So please next time you see examples of these kind of mothers who are not a woman, remember, none of us womankind is worthy to marry their sons. So they should in fact make sure their sons don't accidentally fall in love and ruin another person's life.

And if you can ask your software engineers to build a Siri like computer program who can pop out the next generation kid without the pesky women polluting their household, I am sure the Goddess Mother will be much obliged.

Thank you.

Love,

Tia

Tia...thank you for that long reply, though it was sarcasm at its best...But, to be honest, I am not at all an Ishwari hater. Rather, if I keep aside her manipulative acts & thoughts, I can totally relate with her. Because, though not in such a gravity as we feel for Sona, I also had similar experiences with the haq jataofying, taunting/parents insulting part & insecurities part with my MIL. But, by Gods' grace and with the strength, wisdom & patience God gave me, I could change that into a relation where my hubby is now proud of. I can't express in words how I feel when he proudly tells his friends, how I take care of his mom and how she prefers to stay with me whenever possible. I agree, my hubby & MIL didn't have such an obsessive relation as Dev-Ishwari; but still the initial years were very difficult. But now that I am reaping the benefits of that little patience & understanding I showed those days, I don't have any complaints or bitterness of those days. Infact, I see those days as the time God helped me to understand how strong a woman can be and how with His help, can support your loved ones to change...Aakhir, ye duniya mein mamma's boys ko bhi mazze se jeena kya hai, patha hona chaahiye, na...So, there should be someone who can patiently support them in bringing that change...And I prefer to be one of them...😊

Grace, pls don't compare your husband and MIL to this serial. May be your mil might be insecured but she loves your husband and she will put her sons happiness before hers. She might not cared for you but she is good mother. And secondly. .mama's boys don't hurt others like dev hurt ranveer, rithiwick, sona. Your husband must be good human being who respect elders. So..I feel if anyone compare dixit family. .It is truly disgrace to their family.

Pramila...first of all, I am the one who knows how my hubby & MIL was and I am the one who had the first hand experience with them...I have already shared many of my experiences in many posts; so I don't want to repeat it again. Secondly, I don't feel that the Dixit family is to be considered as untouchables or it is a disgrace to compare my family with them. Because, I can see and understand them as human beings who are flawed and I believe in the inner strengths God has given me; not on what I presume is my strength.
