If Dev wants to spend maximum time with his daughter why does he keep leaving her to go do tashan with Sona

he did this at the camp and he did it today when he went to the kitchen to help Sona with the drinks what was all that about?

Why waste time serving people if you're there to hangout with your kid? He doesn't need to gain brownie points from the guests nor does Suhana care about this type of "helping".

The writers are just putting random scenes together then? whether they make sense or not. Aren't they wasting Shaheer's footage on irrelevant stuff? He will be heading back to Indo for his movie why move the story in circles while he is available to shoot?

This serial has to drag on for a year. So all these things. If they show Eshwari with her horrible ho music nobody will watch. Hence devakshi scenes😆

No I don't think all these scenes are irrelevant at all becoz, they have meaning. Dev many times claimed this that he is here for soha only but it's not remotely true he still feels he is the member of that family and wants Bose family too to recognise him as a family member. That's why he wanted jatin to go from Bose house, wants to give saurabh fitness lessons, wore a dhoti, treating their guest as their own, serving drinks to guests, hosting sangeet function and now cooking with asha in the kitchen and still playing the role of jamai even when he is not anymore though he claims that he has absolutely no business with Bose family

because his wife does matter to him, as much as his daughter does, even though though he denies it. Before he came to know about soha, he was using every means possible to trouble sonakshi, because he does want her in his life, at any cost. now he has a huge reason to do that, i meant soha, due to whom he is getting to spend time with his wife as well.

if his daughter or just a child mattered to him, he could have gotten remarried and had a kid, or go through adoption or surrogacy, to get the child. he didn't do anything of that sort because he hoped sonakshi would come back to him. it didn't matter if she could give birth or not. he just couldn't stand up to his mother.. that's all.

I guess he wants to make a good impression of himself to the Bose family and impress them after all those years and he wants to be accepted in the family as well and obviously he wants to be with sona as he still feels the same way towards her - that's just my opinion :)

Post leap both Dev n Sona are living a lie. Whatever they say to each other or however they act infront of each other, is just a facade to hide their real emotions so that they dont have to deal with all the past baggage or dnt want to get hurt again in the process. And they have a ready made answer for every caring or loving gesture...that they are doing it for Soha.

Why Dev went n helped her in kitchen is the same reason why Sona went to help him wear dhoti even when she cud hav easily ignored his request or sent someone else specially when she has no clue how to do it in first place.

I think he realises he has hurt Bose fam n through such small gestures he is trying to rebuild some relationship with them.
