@grace: That's actually a really good question (about Sona scaring Dev). I really think that in that night safari sequence, we saw a lot of glimpses of the old, unguarded Sona, the one who felt comfortable not taking everything super seriously. When he talked about why he had started the fire, she was reminded of his fear and used it to break the tension, but it backfired when Dev took it seriously and confronted her about making his life a joke. And like you said, it gave them a great transition into the serious conversation that followed.

@All: I am going to hold off on weighing in on the spoiler until the episode airs, but just a quick note to request that you be careful when expressing your frustrations about a character -- in this case, Bijoy. Feel free to explain why his actions are frustrating, but avoid using sweeping, negative remarks for the character as a whole, as it can become instigatory. Other than that, enjoy discussing!

But right now Sona has absolutely no confidence in Dev. This act of Dev will help Sona realise his commitment level. As you rightly said living with a screaming bijoy with a permanently constipated expression is no joke.

Once the conference gets restored Sonakshi would be perfectly able to shift to Dixit house and teach some much needed life lessons to Ishwari and also show GKB and red their correct place. Till a woman is confident that her husband is committed to her and standing firmly by her side, a woman is not able to assert her position in her husband's house.

This is where Dev badly failed in season one leading to the breakup. But now after this show of commitment by Dev and his understanding of what Sona went through in a hostile environment, Sona will enter the Dixit house with the confidence and sense of ownership she deserves.

@ Mahua. Just watched the segments and read the posts. I agree that what you are saying is correct, but then all 4 leads need to learn the lesson and realize their mistakes.

Ishwari-- till date she has not realized how her interference has hurt Dev more than helping him. Her firm belief is that "main jo kuch bhi jar Rahi hoon, who Dev ki bhalayi kr liye jar Rahi hoon". But when she finds that because of herself Suhana cannot come to IN, that it was her own doings that has led to What Dev has endured and will be forced to if she continues her zidd, she will have no choice but to reflect. That will be the time when maami's full truth will come out regarding her greediness and intentions. I mean maami is still controlling herself because Dev is still there. Once he is kind of completely out of IN picture, we will see an even more greedier and happiest maami who will take full advantage of the situation.

Bijoy-- according to him he is right and he knows everything especially what is good for his kids. He also has a superiority complex that he is better than Ishwari and every thing was her fault.He needs to realize he is no better than her. That he was also very much responsible for hurting the person he loved the most(Sona). That he is as much responsible for Dev Sona breakup like Ishwari. That his pride and ego got in their way. Also for him to change his view that Dev is not a monster and John is not the perfect mate for Sonakshi.

Dev -- he will learn what Sonakshi faced firsthand 😃 . He might know on some level the rejection that Sonakshi faced, but not all the the taunts and her broken dreams. But doesn't really know the depth of her pain and hurt. This will be his redemption where he will be literally in Sonakshi's place doing everything even going out of his way to please others. Something that he has not done before.

Sonakshi-- she will learn how "perfect" her family actually is. Why it seemed like Dev would change his decision so frequently trying to please his mother. She will be literally in Dev's place trying to balance and maintain everything. This will be her redemption in accepting the flaws and faults of her family.

This dynamics is very much needed for everyone to accept the truth and then make amends. I for one am so looking forward to this 😆 😆

@shaavi, interesting observations but I feel this dev is not gonna put any efforts to please anyone at Bose house other than for his daughter. May be this is a way to convey to Sona about where she went wrong in IN. Definitely this move is gonna change lot of equations in future and it's going to be interesting journey for sure.

The thing is here I am not seeing any reason why he should put any efforts to impress anyone at Bose house going by logic. Still summer camp track is going on and in the precap they mentioned it as next week and not as monday that means what we saw in the precap may be at the end of summer camp which may happen by Wednesday or Friday based on the way episodes are planned. By the end of summer camp Soha is gonna call him papa as showed in previous segments and this marriage sequences may come in the next week episodes. So by that time i feel Soha is gonna accept him as dad and as per the segment he is going to stay at Bose house only for Soha then why he needs to impress anyone at Bose house since the person whom he wants to impress is already impressed by him by that time. Any way let's wait for the episodes for the story to get unfold.

Agree with your reasoning. He should be concerned with only Soha at this point of time and no one else. But like you said Soha must have accepted him by then.
