As per the segment Bijoy was saying how dev can stay here he was asking saurabh that now he is going to get married. If he is just invited then baba bose can bear him as he want saurbh's marriage should be done so in that case he can act sobar in front of mandals. I think for soha they have accepted that they will live together for some days only and sona cannot go to dev's house dev have agreed to come to bose house for some days. during the weeding.this is my guess.

I totally agree that his main concern is only Soha. He has no need to impress Bose family in any way and I don't think he will try to. But he would definitely want to be part of the decision making group specifically where Soha is concerned or where any decision taken has na impact on his and Soha's relation. 😃

This was one of the main things that Sonakshi wanted in Dixit house. To be part of the decision making group. From the beginning of the series, Sonakshi was shown to make decisions which was accepted by her family without questions. After marriage, she assumed that she would continue to do so and Dixit family would accept them. But it does not work that way. As much as Dev needed to include her in his decision making process, she needed to do the same. But she failed in doing so most of the time resulting in negative consequences.

Now too Sonakshi is in the habit of taking decisions and expecting it to be accepted without questions. Sonakhshi is doing the exact same thing that Ishwari did. Ishwari wanted Sona to come to her house just for Dev. Here Sonakshi is doing it for Soha's sake when her whole family is against it. She is exactly in Dev's place at this time. She will have to juggle in trying to ensure that Bijoy treats Dev fairly and respects him as Soha's papa, while also making sure that Bijoy is not hurt in any way during this time. She has to balance all this along with safeguarding Soha's childhood and happiness.

Add Ronita and the changes to the family dynamics in that front. Ronita after wedding will want her place and want the decision making capability too. She will also look to Saurabh to take a stand for her. Sonakshi will also be Neha's place where Ronita's action will look like intrusion from her perspective, expect Saurabh to side with her, and will find he cannot really do that.

Sonakshi for the first time will realize that taking decisions does come with a lot of responsibility and all aspects needs to be considered before decisions are made. Her philosophy of "5 minute decisions" will be the one which she will be forced to rethink. It will also very much help her in understanding her faults and where she actually failed in her marriage.

@sjain and LiveLife321 Dev might not put in any efforts to please anyone specially but living 24 x 7 in a hostile environment is an exercise in patience and endurance. Further he can't sit in his room and lock the door. He has to sit with them and eat with them. He will know how it feels like when even when eating there are snide remarks being made at you. How it feels when people are constantly deriding you whatever you might be doing.

Sometimes the only way to understand the other persons point of view is to go through their experiences. The way we understand our parents much better when we become parents.

Dev might not able to recollect or connect the various points with seven years ago when Sonakshi suffered the way he is suffering now but for sure when they shift back to Dixit house he will remember these experiences and would be able to put a stop to the wrong behaviour of his family.

This will be a growing up experience for Dev.

Can I add some thing It will be a new experience for sona also. As she is at dev's place. she will understand bijoy is not correct but as he has supported her in her difficult time she can't directly stop him or say any thing which can hurt him if she say any thing baba bose will have a different interpretation for this. So it is going to be fun.and Baba bose will be soabar in front of soha but after that he will show her anger just like Ishu and GKB .

Yes.Agreed. Dev should be included in every decision regarding Soha. But there will be friction as we know the reaction of Bijoy if Dev is included in that process. It will be interesting to see how Sona
maintains balance. It is not that easy.

Agree with you. Every family has a different way of functioning. Reacting to situations and taking decisions also vary due to different upbringing and many such things. Sonakshi thought Bose family thinking applies in Dixit family matters. Hence she met with negativity and misunderstanding.

@shaavi and Payal, I got your point but what I am trying to convey is little different. Let me try to explain.

Now Sona is gonna stand in Dev's place and dev will be in Sona's place. While handling situations there is east to west difference between them. I am not saying that dev is gonna get royal treatment at Bose house. When it comes to taunting and humiliation, bijoy won't be any less than gkb the way she treated Sona since she never liked her. But when it comes to his loved one's, dev is least bothered about his self respect, ego and pride so he may accept all those humiliations without a uff for Soha because he is in Bose house only for Soha. All these humiliations at IN mattered for Sona because even though she entered as Dev's wife in to IN, most of her efforts went towards his family acceptance than towards him.

Finally what I am trying to convey is, in this role reversal I feel Sona is gonna suffer more by standing in Dev's shoes more than Dev suffering at Bose house because after summer camp track I feel the bitterness and hate between them may come down to cordial relationship. In between all these the more interesting part is how is Soha gonna take all these changes from her perfect family.

This is my main concern too. Couples getting back just for the sake of their children is not really good and it effects children negatively. But here they are not coming back together just living with Soha. And we have to see how they have made an arrangement, like for how long Dev is at Bose place, will they go to Dixits after living with Boses or its for few days thing. This track has lot of potential in it. Lets see how it shapes up. N anyways if u ask me i would love them to live separately but it cannot happen na. They have to add issues which will cannot crop with families living far away. So this is the best possible solution.

Ps- Edited. I meant children. Sorry my mind is not at its place today. 🤔

I think in all this development "Asha's role " will be very important.In IN there was no sensible person like ASha. Mama Ji was there in the beginning , but later they just made his character just to support Ishwari 's thoughts.I hope "Asha" can bring some sense to at least Dev and Sona since Bijoy is not reachable. I hope Cv's give little more credit to Asha's character as they have a great actress like Moon.

@bold Blue. Totally agree with you and this is the moral that Sona needs to realize. When she married Dev, she had to lose a part of being Bose and become a little bit of Dixit. Even though on the surface it looked like she did a lot of things to become part of Dixit family, she did them as a Bose and not really a Dixit(hope I made sense in what I am trying to convey). Sona during their argument on the streets during the bhaidhooj told Dev that since her family was honest, all problems were solved easily and also her family accepted everyone comfortably(her example of Elena and Saurabh's conversation on the dining table).

She took this as the framework in which a family was supposed to function to be happy and tried to implement the same in Dixit house. This is definitely a good idea, but where Sonakshi failed was take into account the characters of the members of Dixit family. She was just focused on her vision of converting Dixit family to Bose family without considering whether any of the Dixit family was ready for that or not.

When a person marries, the husband and wife become a team. As much as the husband needs to change and imbibe some qualities of his wife's family, the wife also should do the same for a happy family. It is all about give and take. Here Sona failed to "give" instead taking(Neha's return to IN) at times and gave when she had to "take". What I mean is during Neha's time what Dev needed the most was Sonakshi's support. She did "give" it in the beginning, but later on started "taking" without considering the effects of her actions on Dev or Dixit family.

Similarly she had to exercise her right as Dev's wife(take), but failed to do so and let Ishwari or GKB or any other members interfere with her marriage. As much as Dev needed to take a stand for Sonakshi, she needed to ensure that she was included as a part of Bose family. After a while she started taking her failures as an insult and started reacting to the same resulting her pride taking over.

But with Dev coming and living with Boses, she will see that Dev is not taking the insults to heart, that he is willing to let go of his ego for whom he considers family. In one of the episodes in Season 1, Sonakshi once comments to Dev saying "itna toh wahi juk saktha hai jo bahut oncha ho. Aaj aapka koi fault nahi that, phir bhi aapne maafi mangi". To which he replies "They are my family and I am ready to do anything for my family even if I need to let go of my ego to do that".

This will help both Dev and Sonakshi for when they will return to Dixit house where the next phase of story will begin with Ishwari's redemption. After Sonakshi was thrown out as nutritionist(season 1), Dev waited for 5 hrs in the cafe to convince Sonakshi to return and he tells that his maa is already feeling bad about it. He will also say "maamiji sey bhi baath hojayegi". This stay in Bose house is similar to the 5 hr wait in cafe. 😆 😆
