Observations..

Dev's determination to win Soha showed how much he yearns for Soha..and ready to do anything..He is ready to overcome his fear and face it..which he couldnt during their marriage phase..he was scared to loose Sonakshi too but couldn't make required effort but today he was a man on mission and was determined to cross all hurdles..

Also the snake chasing sequence reminded me of the scene when Dixit house had no electricity..their Sona's fear of darkness was highlighted and how Dev tried to help her and here Dev's fear about snakes and Sonakshi came to rescue him and be with him..also a bit of teasing was also similar Dev imitated animals voice to scare Sonakshi and today Dev scared her by false alarm regarding snake..and that time too they both were constantly fighting arguing and today as well the taunts were non stop HAHA

Its like a new phase new beginning for them..rightly said noke jhok toh pyaar ki pehli seedhi hoti hai

some lovely dialogs

"Abhi mere liye us darr se ye darr zyada important hai"

"Main apni beti ko khoney se darta hoon,aur isse bada darr mere liye koi nahi hai"

"jab lagega toh main aapka smiling face yaad kar loonga"

"Mujhe antidote ki koi zaroorat nahi ,mujhe jo chahiye tha mujhe mil gaya"

"Mujhe Dev ki help karni hogi"

And BONUS

"Ye mere aur Mr aubhodro ke beech ki baat hai"

"Tumi Ek dum impossible,budhhuram"

I concur... the symbolisms were amazing. At first my reaction was why snake... why can't it be something like a lizard or a mouse. But then I realised what was going on. Mami and Vicky had similarly injected venom in the lives of Devakshi. Its only when the desire for a child (and I think that too isn't literally the child, its representative of a future/happiness for Devakshi) grew, they had to deal with the poison or else the toxicity would finish them. Dev wanted to deal with this himself and wanted Sona to stay out of it. But Sona wanted to help Dev and used to jump into situations making them harder for Dev to handle.

In the end, they handled with it. With Dev holding the poison (for 7 years) while Sona held the baby and tomorrow they will go and throw that poison out of their lives. But the happiness (aka Soha calling him papa) still eludes them.

The whole sequence is definitely deja vu of the batti gul episodes. Beautiful collage mahua

I love those devakshi shipper aunties. I wish they were careful with their words and who was able to hear their gossip.

Question: Whose belt was it in Sona's bed? She went to another room to change... So...?

PS: Someone please tweet/email (in fact I might do that) the makers to stop the misuse of term feminist. The story is very feminism aware and Dev understands enough about feminism not to misuse it. The dialogue writer needs to stop abusing this term pronto

I was pretty happy with crisp execution of Season two in comparison to the rushed episodes by the end of Season one but I guess its too much to expect from a daily soap.

Awesome analysis DQ. Totally agree with you on most points . 👏 👏 . But I felt a little different with the snake. As you said it is the representative of Vickky and maami and the venom they spit 7 years ago. But Dev's fear is actually his feelings of gratitude and indebtedness towards maamaji. He had been trying to overcome that for sometime now. He couldn't completely get over it even with Sonakshi coming into his life. But when he saw that his daughters life was in danger because of that snake, he overcame that fear and captured the snake. Looks like a prelude to what is to come and what will happen to Vickky and maami.

Also it was very significant that Vickky and GKB met the Mandols. They will now use the Mandols as the pawns to get Sona and Soha out of Dev's life permanently. Chances are Mandols will probably keep conditions regarding Saurabh and Ronita's marriage in regards to Sonakshi. Certainly the marriage talks of Sonakshi and Jotin will be revived.

Dev during rain dance said that she has become like old Dev. Ishwari repeatedly said that Sonakshi-- Jotin marriage was a possibility. Also Sonakshi's biggest gripe during the marriage phase was Dev's inability to make a decision and then stick to it. She always said she takes her own decisions and sticks to them. But this time she will be in Dev's place taking decisions to please others. Also Soha will also probably support Sona -- Jotin marriage as Sona said no kkhh, repeated that she cannot live with Dev and also referred to him as frog.
