Dev insensitive to Sonakshi-Really?

Hi everyone. I'm back with a new post. A lot of posts in the forum talk about the insensitive behaviour of Dev towards Sona. I am not here to justify it but rather put forward my honest opinion.

Right from the start, though Dev put up an impression of a serious and hard-hearted businessman, he has been the softer person of the two in the relationship. I have always forums Sona more bolder, braver and domineering and honestly, this is her plus. He extends his hand in the relationship and Sona holds it and anchors it. Both of them have very vibrant personalities but when it comes to being selfless I feel it's Dev who is more than Sonakshi. Sonakshi speaks her mind and is not afraid to voice her thoughts but Dev thinks a lot befor he opens his mouth( when he is not drunk;)). The point is a lot of people are assuming that Dev no longer loves Sona. But the reality is that He loves her more than himself. He is very very sensitive to the slightest of hurts and that's why when someone insults him or points out his flaws in a rude tone he instantly flares up and burns.
.Dev still loves Sona deeply and it is the immense sorrow of not being there by her side when she needed him the most kills him to this very day...He sees Sona in Suha every time and that is what makes him love Suha all the more...But since Sona has put up a facade of not caring for Dev, I think Dev has also put up that facade-Because Dev knows she is clearly the stronger out of the two and he wants to show that he is unaffected by her presence. But both inwardly, Subconsiously do love each other immensely.

I personally like the fact of how Dev is helpless and trying to hide his insecurities and balance his life as a son and a father and hopefully in the future as Sona's husband.
So
Hoping for their soon reunion and BTW, Erica - Shaheer slay it everyday!

where did you see the evidence that what he feels for Sona is love? In his well thought of plans to disturb her peace, to insult her, to demean her, to harass her... This is what I have seen.

Also you say that "He is very very sensitive to the slightest of hurts and that's why when someone insults him or points out his flaws in a rude tone he instantly flares up and burns." I think it is fair to get angry when someone insults tem, but then why be sensitive only to their own insults and very unsympathetic to other people's insults. In fact think of meaner ways to insult others?

It all depends on how we define LOVE.

Dev loves Sona. He has some twisted logic of love which applies for Sona only.

Only his kind of love , I fail to understand...you see our definitions vary. 😃

If at all I want to see Devakshi together its bcoz of Shaheer-Erica...no other reason...specially not Dev-Sonakshi ,the characters😆

Friend, I can give several instances post leap:
1) he proudly told his family that his little one is an exact replica of Sona.
2) when he saw the reports he firstly exclaimed with joy that Sona had become a mother. Only then did he realise that he had also become a father
3) he is often reminded of Sona whenever he sees suha and is reminded of his love for sona which he reminisces with a smile


He is first reminded of their love than their reason of hate.


I'm sure there are many more and I feel that both Dev and Sona are perfectly flawed souls and only become perfect when they are one. I sincerely love both their characterisation and can very much relate as I myself am a very fragile person internally ( like dev).

This is my opinion though...what do you think 😊

The essence of this Show which I have come to adore is that all characters are flawed as are humans in the Real World. Unlike 99% of the Dramas out there KRPKAB is relatable. Somewhere we can find a scenario which resonates with our own psyche.
