pehli ke waqt alag tha, parents were dependent on their daily bread and butter on the kids as they seldom thought of their retirement planning, lekin ab ka zamana alag hai. today the parents hardly have financial dependency on the kids for their later life. so are these kind of feelings still valid?

All dev can do it convince sona that she grants him permission to see their daughter, move out of dixit house permanently, try to win the trust of Sona that he can be a good father to Suhana. I am not going to talk about union of devakshi , yeh haq or decision sirf aur sirf sona ka hain .
he needs to establish himself as good parent and be capable enough to protect his daughter from either extreme love or negligence from his family. sona ko protect nahi kar paya, he was never capable of reading in between the lines and always took people at face value, aur to aur jab koi sawaal utha toh he brushed it off. ab yeh brushing off nahi chelega. he needs to answer the concern of soha , and instil faith in her that she need not worry on those lines. actions always speak louder than words, agar uske actions layak honge toh sawaal hi paida nahi hota. as simple as that.
