he first needs to know how to stand up for himself, before he can even stand up for soha.
till now he never even stood up for himself. any parent , including ishwari will be forced to back off if they know that their actions will take away their child from them forever. even bijoy is a control freak but yet he cannot manipulate sona, reason being she does not let him over rule her unless she wishes for it. ( we have seen ample of these instances) . dev is very submissive to ishwari, he might say a few words at random but he will never try to distance himself from her for her misdeeds.
Ishwari got a first glimpse of his frustrated state yesterday when he said, pehle mera pyaar mujhe se khoya gaya aur ab aulaad cheen li. he was very clear that he will not tolerate any interference now, if she tries anything again, for sure dev ab palat ke bhi nahi dekega. i really want to see such strong dev, only then his life will get back on tracks and he will start living a life that he truly deserves.
