It made my day too. Soha raised a question that Dev didn't have any answer for. What will he say? He didn't give two hoots to her mother's respect, let her get mistreated because she was someone else's daughter. But he will be good to his daughter because she is his blood?

By god Soha's reply to Dev that "he wasn't good for her mother, how will he be good for her?" made my day. What a cute, matured kid she is. Thank god she has got the most important genes from her mom and is unlike this emotional, insensitive fool. What was that attitude of this guy in the precap, its as if he is cracking a big business deal against his rival. He is in no way ready to take care of Soha in any sense and even if he does Ishwari wouldn't like this tiny Sonakshi. They would suffocate Soha just like they did with Sonakshi. I hope Soha gets to stay with Sona until this man figures himself out.

Today I realized we will not see a different DEV!! He's the same selfish guy who can't think beyond himself. Soha would never be the daughter she is if he had raised her. I think CVs have butchered Dev enough -- so Sona should please happily marry Jatin and So-So will both be better off!

No eeesh or dev-il!

Thank you everyone for your comments. I appreyciate your inputs. I enjoy reading all of them.

Today I went and watched the episode again and it made me depressed.

Honestly, what does it take for a woman to get respect?

Sonakshi bent over backwards to win Dev's family. Did she get respect?

She kept sacrificing her little wishes, moments of happiness so that Dev can continue to dance at his mother's tune. Did she get respect?

She was lied to, manipulated, insulted, humiliated and she kept trying to put the pieces together. Did she get respect?

Her family was insulted, her dignity crushed by the same man who apparently didn't care whether she could be a mother or not. Did she get respect?

She pulled herself together, gave birth to a child, travelled from Kolkata to Delhi to introduce her daughter to her father, but was turned away. Did she get respect?

She moved back to Kolkata, made herself a success and her daughter an independent, strong but compassionate girl. Did she get respect?

She didn't poison her daughter's mind, told her the truth, shared information about her father and offered multiple times to take her to her father if she wants to. Did she get respect?

Now again she is in front of a jury where Dev gets to point fingers and she has to justify her actions.

Who the hell is he?

Where was he when she and her family were homeless and that eviction notice had his company's name on it?

Where was he when he did not bother finding out if she is alive or dead?

Where was he when she must have been so scared to be neck deep in debt and trying to keep her family together during a pregnancy which must be anything but stress free.

What gives him any right to ask any questions to Sonakshi when because of his sheer idiocy, Soha could have died today and is in distress?

Really, someone please tell me. What does it take for a woman to get respect here?

Im sorry but I don't think "IGNORANCE" --- or Insecurity pardons selfishness esp to your own daughter. Some people Don't want to learn. He still hasn't
So Im not sure I would buy this --- my POV.

I dont know if I can call this selfishness.
Dev was always the GIVER. Everyone in his family is always dependent on him for their happiness. Except Sona, I dont know anyone who gave him anything without asking for twice in return. So, he feels without him Soha and Sona would also not be happy.

he is actually not able to come to terms with the simple fact that , these two Soha and Sona can be happy without him in the picture. He is not the only and sole source of their happiness...as is the case for others. He is not able to imagine such a scenario for the people he loved. For him, loving means giving and being the source of happiness. Thats what Ishwari has always taught him...duties...not rights.

Outcome is he is selfish...unknowingly to himself...he doesnot even know he is being selfish.

Just got done watching the episode.

Surprising -

1. Soha pretty directly called Dev a failed husband and the one who wronged her mamma, still Dev shamelessly went on about his identity ? 🤔 Now even your daughter is trying to open your eyes Dev, what more do you want to see the reality ? If this is not making Dev introspect, I dont know what will ?

2. Ishwari's jumping like a frog - OMG, was she real ! Khush hoke teri godi mein aa gayi hogi, tune pyar vyaar kiya ki nahi ? What the heck !! Next what ? Ishwari ordering Dev - Devvv, jaao jaake apni beti se pyar jataao, yeh hukm hai mera 😳 Such a useless Brother-sister-son jodi these Dev-Mamaji-Ishu is 🤢 Mamaji is the most worthless character I have ever seen, no dialogs except Kachori 😵.

3. Aaliya's acting. The kid was too good today, when Dev blurted out the truth to her, her blank and scared expressions 😒. She stole my heart.

Today got nothing for Dev-Ishwari and their melodrama 🤢 Dev said 'no more bhatking' which means he was bhatkofied and hence ruthofied from Ishu 😆 Now that he is a sudhraofied baccha, expect galore of Momma-Son moments. Soha in Dev's godhi ka toh pata nahi, beech mein se yeh Dev phir se Ishwari ke godhi charna shuru kar diya

I agree. Even if Sonakshi just stay single and happy, that's fine too. But I don't see why she'd even want to go back to Dev who never treated her right.

Guddi, I literally have nothing to say today. I was feeling that I am watching KRPKAB season 1 because we are back to square one. There was no shame in Dev when his daughter asked him how will he be good for her if he wasn't good for her mother? He just went on to push his agenda.

Had Sonakshi pushed Soha to not meet her father and she had run to the road almost getting killed, the whole forum would have been celebrating her funeral.

I just can't say much today. I am just too depressed to watch the episode today.

Me to can't see women suffering if society changes na family ppl will change .
Moms should teach there sons to respect women instead of pampering because mothers are like foundation pampering them and saying raja beta tu thoop ho doesn't go well women empowerment starts from home and country will follow .
See the state of women in our country women are treated so badly and judicial system sucks ya it hurts 😭
Women if extinct there won't be humans in the world ...daily morning I see bunch of girls near the bus stop I see them as fresh flowers bloomed ant think what's there future lies and when they get married how can a males trash such beautiful flower after getting married or bf men have no rights to hurt them ya ... hope society changes for good and to top it women are women's worst enemies

I know, right? A woman gives her all to her family, her husband, his family, leaves her life behind, raises his children while the children bear their father's identity and are "Chirag" of their father's home, yet no one asks her what makes her happy, what does she want, does she need anything. I don't know why we can't see a woman's pain or have we seen so much of it for so long and we have become desensitized to it.

May be it's surprising to me because I feel pain physically when I see or hear anyone suffering. But I feel it more intensely when I see a woman suffering because I am a woman. I am a strong empathic person. So I don't understand why some women ignore another woman's pain, why are they the first one to point fingers at other woman?

You know Shailu what hurts me most? This two lines.

Bros before hoes and women are women's worst enemy.

One rule men live by and one rule us women follow.

But who made these rules? Anytime we want, woman can support other women, build other women's confidence, defend their respect - in short show girllove instead of girl on girl hate.

But we don't. Us women are our problem, Shailu. We raise men and teach them to disrespect girls on the street, their girlfriend, their wives. We teach them that different rules apply for the women in their family and women from other family. We defend them even when we know they are wrong.

And we raise women and teach them to hate other women, see them as their competition instead of companion, and point fingers at them instead of supporting them.

We women are root cause of our own condition.
