I felt it odd too that dev ran to his mom .. instead of giving soha a tight hug..

I wish atleast once dev realises how badly his dev Matha

Behaved with sona..

If nobody supposed to be bad with his mom.. sona is also

Really he doesn't have anyone right now to share this big news so thats understandable but he could have simply told the news to her.

Now 2 reasons the hug seemed so awkward - firstly it could mean Dev has forgiven Ishwari and their relationship wud be like pre leap, so more misunderstanding between Dev n Sona. Now again it will Dev n Ish together blaming Sona. Secondly, Dev n Sona had a similar hug post prenup fiasco when he told Sona to just shut up n hug him tightly

I am assuming Dev doesn't know or doesn't remember the child clause of prenup. Also I believe it was Ish who asked Sona to leave when she came with Soha. So these two reasons wud b sufficient for Dev to blame Ish for everything.

I Only Know Hugging ur Mother Can never Be Disgutting..No matter How The Mother is She Is a Mother..and that doesn't make anyone mumma;s boy..If That is Only Adjective used For son who r Closer To Mom Then I am really sorry To say it's High Time to Change our Perspective.Cause We can hate The character but we can't forgot the relationship.Mothers r beyond anything

I won't say it was disgusting but I definitely did not enjoy that scene. The realization scene was beautifully done, but the last scene left me furious as I didn't want Dev to tell Ishwari, because she clearly doesn't deserve it. I hope Dev doesn't bring Suhana to the Dixit house. I guess Dev doesn't know about the child clause in the prenup. Maybe his emotions overpowered him at that moment.

oh wow...i guess except a few noone cud see how much disgusting that scene was...and i am also disappointed the way my post has been misinterpreted...where did i say that a son hugging his mom is disgusting..

ppl just choose to read wat they want and ignore the other lines...i said it is disgusting that dev hugged his mom with soha's news...around me i hv always seen wen a baby is born or news of baby is got husband wife hug each other...they do not hug their respective parents...

i mean by instinct husband wife hug each other and once the news sinks in then of course they share it with their parents and hug them too...

wen soha entered the room dev looked at her emotionally but felt no instinct to hug her...wen he heard sona's voice he ran away instead of feeling the instinct to hug her too...but where did he feel the instinct...his mom 😡

there r couple of reasons y i felt it is disgusting...one, he has created enuf distance with her to make her realize that her OTT interference in his life has destroyed his life...i admit ishwari is still his mom and he of course loves her...

but if he does not maintain this distance and normalizes everything before ishwari realizes all her mistakes then y did we get this 7 year leap...and also if dev forgets everything before ishwari realizes her mistakes then everything will be back to square one where we will see dev getting manipulated by his mom and if sona comes back in his life he will again not support her wen his family will be badmouthing her...so watz the use of this hullaballo about leap and all...

second reason y i felt it is so disgusting is because ishwari DID NOT deserve this happiness...how much more dev loves his mom he must maintain certain principles otherwise y does he interfere in sona's life...if he will bring everything back to square one then y get angry if sona marries jatin...

how can dev forget the prenup papers which is one important reason of his breakup with sona...how can he forget that ishwari gave the clause that he will have no right over his child if divorce happens...

if he is so happy that he is a father then how can he run to ishwari who wants that dev will hv no relation with his daughter since he is divorced with sona...

i can see now...majority of viewes hv no issue that dev shared the news with ishwari...viewers r thinking she is his mom so its ok...

if because ishwari is dev's mom so everything becomes ok then no use watching this serial anymore...because then dev will never take any step to make ishwari realize her faults...then no use sona coming back in dev's life any day because dev will always remain mama's boy who will behave badly with sona under ishwari's instructions...

i thot after ystrdy's episode everyone will protest...now i see everyone is happy to see mother-son reunion...everything forgotten in an instant wat all ishwari has done...

a bad person is a bad person no matter if that person is a mother, father or child...and that bad person shud be shown the mirror and we can see ishwari till date has never admitted her own faults...and on top of that dev is hugging her and sharing soha's news with her...

now there is no reason left why ishwari shud mend her attitude towards dev and sona...she knows watever she does dev will always forgive her and things will become normal...

so y is the show still continuing...if things r back to square one wat is left to show in this serial...if they want to show that dev will remain mama's boy but sona will come back to him then i cant believe i used to call this show a classic...

talking about myself i will never share my pure happiness with someone who is responsible for making me stay away from that happiness in the first place even if that someone is my mother...

i dont want to repeat wat i said but i will tell it the last time...i hv NO ISSUES dev hugging ishwari...if for any other reason i wudnt hv made this thread...my issue is that why dev hugged her with soha's news...in this one case there is a main reason not to hug her like ishwari in prenup papers told that dev will not hv any relationship with soha...

here everyone is only seeing a son hugging a mother so its ok...but i can see dev hugging someone who never wanted dev to be a father of a child because ishwari always wanted divorce between devakshi and after divorce she wanted dev to hv no relation with his child...

if after all these dev feels ishwari shud know this truth then i hv nothing to say...go on guys and party because dev has already (or will very soon) forgiven and forgotten everything ishwari has done...

if emotions overpowered him then he wud hv hugged soha instantly wen she entered the room and not do the tasks of getting out the window, driving the car, going to his house and hugging ishwari...

I agree with you.. If dev continues to be like this.. Sharing something with ishwari which she doesn't deserve a bit.. I'd happily watch sona and soha live with Bose family and dev with his maata..

Soha had seen him outside her home so many times but he walked away but man c'mon!! He freaking comes to know he is a dad of a daughter and the moment he realizes it and his daughter shows up in front of him, he walks away?! Again? Are you joking?? At least if he'd have kissed Soha's forehead before sona would reach there I'd have taken it.. But no he ran away! Ran to whom? The destroyer of his life! His mata!

As usual his mata will try to snatch soha from sona for her son's happiness and ex-gkb will fuel her with more cheap tricks! If this ever happens- the snatch soha game, for ishwari it'll be snatching soha from her ex-bahu for the sake of her son's happiness and she won't ever think that she's snatching a child from her mother! She's the ideal "mata" right.. How can she do this?

It was disgusting. Damn this woman is sick!! So sick that her selfishness looks like pyaar for her son. A son who thinks heer as his God, a son who loves his mata without any rule. Dev's gonna break beyond repair. And if even at that time ishwari blames sona, my final goodbye for the show would happen.
