I think Dev will lay low and wait for Soha to be ready to meet her dad. I feel he is not going to shove the new relationships at her.

he may continue to be in touch but may not reveal to her.

I hope what you say is true.

But how will he contain ish. I'm sure she's going to do something that will drive a deeper wedge between dev & sona regarding soha.

Hope the cvs continue surprising us.

him telling the truth is not wrong, but him having high hopes that she will jump with joy on hearing that he is her papa is not warranted. him choosing to break the news without really understanding her fears is incorrect. soha asked a very apt question " if he cannot keep my mumma happy , how can I expect him to keep me happy?" as usual Dev bushed off the question. he cannot see/ hear anything beyond himself. if he wants soha to accept him, he should earn her love and respect. just because they are biologically related, she is not doing to accept the dixits easily. unlike during sona's time where dev never bothered about her concerns, he cannot repeat the same mistake with soha.

iske pehle woh dev ko papa bulaye, dev ko mehnat karni padegi ki woh soha ke har ek sawaal, har ek dar aur har ek dhuvida ko samjhe aur use dooor bhagaye. kal bhi dev soha ko kuch bhi kehne ka mauka nahi de raha tha, sare sawaal dev ne kudh poocha. finally kya hua, itna shock woh bacchi jhel nahi payi aur bhaag gayi, waise toh accha hua woh accident hote hote bach gayi, warna dev babu kabhi use ye promise nahi karte ki woh soha ke marzi ke khilaaf kuch nahi karenge.

ab dekna yeh hai ki maatiji aur kya gul khilayengi. if this time ishwari interferes or tries to force herself on soha and make it once again all about her kaandaan ki chirag, her waaris or her rights as a daadi, i really want a strong dev to lash back at her. more than anything, soha is a kid first. she belongs to herself first . use har right honi chahiye ki use choose karne ka choice ho.

If Dev flaunders this time, inspite of being a dev sympahtist, i will bash him like anything. bahut hogaya, time to stand up for what you believe in rather than doing something out of responsibility.

I hope he does. But the most important thing here is Lavanya that Dev needs to get in his head that alienating Soha's mother with rude behaviour won't get him Soha's love. Soha is his daughter and she won't tolerate insults or disrespects to her mother. The only way he can win Soha's trust if she sees Sonakshi showing trust in him and Sonakshi is not a lier who can act through her teeth.

And yes, the other concern is how to manage Ishwari. His million warnings and insults could not stop her from approaching Asha and Sonakshi. So how will he make sure she doesn't scare the crap out of Soha with her over enthusiastic behaviour?
