This is a great drama to nuke audience's brain.
Way too many questions:
What was the point of showing us that Dev hasn't been coming home regularly in the last 7 years. That flashback Ishwari recounted to Mamaji where Dev blames her for the prenup - where is that anger/disappointment?
Why is he back home everyday now? I can understand the need to be at office but home?
If he is the official guardian for Golu that his school calls him and not Golu's parents - what are the mamiji, mamaji and his mother doing - are they blind to the plight of the child or is this an approved way of bringing up a child? Golu tells his teacher no one except his BigCha cares for him. the teacher doesn't react.
(I was in primary school in the 80s. I once ate all veg and egg from my lunch box at break time. When my teacher checked our lunch box at lunch time, she summoned my mother the next day and told her about healthy eating. My mum was shaken and I was so embarrassed.)
Really- does Bigcha care- looks like he is fulfilling his love for a child rather than genuinely caring for Golu. If he did, he would adopt Golu and not continue to live with such parents who refuse to spend a minute for their child. Staying quiet isn't an option. This is child abuse and he is a part of it. Shame!
Fair enough he was desperate to find out about Soha but to sneak in? So Sona hid the child and harmed the child's wellbeing (I am being sarcastic here) and he sneaks around and scares the child and they are equal now?
At every opportunity Dev has shown how selfish he is. He is a perfect child for a perfect mother. He wants a toy and he gets it. Just perfect!
