Dev for me is the weakest character in this serial. I started seeing it for Ishwari because the Ishwari of the first 50 episodes was a character that I could identify with as existing in my grandmom's generation. But I stopped feeling for her the day she took out her stove and started cooking on the floor of the kitchen to emotionally blackmail. The women I knew and whose stories I heard were such hard workers and so strong. Brought up so many kids singlehandedly making Vadams and pickles for survival.

And after the breakup, Dev just went downhill and Sona just got my sympathies. I really feel for that girl.
There is a basic dishonesty in the Dixit family which Dev chooses to ignore. I am unable to digest the fact that he being such a successful businessman is such a douche when it comes to seeing through his own family namely Vicky.
Is it because Dev is not a real life businessman or the writers are not real life businessmen.
Basically only Sona makes my face go soft. So I keep track.
