Lakshmi , there are many such incidence ..remember how Dev was criticized when he shouted at Tina .They called him names and even accused of misusing his powers .Today when Bijoy threatened a poor maid then Bijoy is called protective father .

Reproducing what I wrote in the weekly thread :

I have always held Bijoy more responsible for the separation of Dev-Sonakshi. He used his daughter for his ego and hurt pride, w/out giving a thought about her future and her marriage. Saurabh also wasn't man enough to resolve this matter as it was all his doing. He was never in the picture. But Sonakshi acted impulsively by putting her relationship with Dev on the burner. This is where she failed. I like Asha more than Bijoy because she balanced Bijoy's temper and extreme reactions. Else, Bijoy also would have been a divorced man.

I wonder what was the Bose family's reaction on knowing that Sonakshi went with baby Suhana! That could form the crux of this soap as /Ronita would make Saurabh realise that he was wrong and Sonakshi could also realise that some decisions should be left to oneself. Parents are not always right!!!

Edits : The choice of introducing Suhana to Dev should be entirely Sonakshi's decision. Bijoy is interfering again. If he was sure and his sixth sense played a role of hiding Suhana, how long can he do it? He couldn't stop his daughter from relocating to Delhi and sharing office space with Dev. Why hide Suhana now, in this manner! Does he think that Dev is smarter than Sonakshi and would be able to trace Suhana easily? Or has he lost confidence in his own daughter to manage her life? It's a complete change of character from the straightforward and confident father who could do no wrong! I am so glad that my father has never interfered in my life and always been available when I needed advice. Thank God he is nowhere close to Mr Bijoy Bose!

Finally good to see in this forum ppl have started pointing out bijoys mistakes and stopped projecting him as the best father.. bijoys mistakes and interference is no less thn Ishwari. Hos behaviour with dev was equally bad from day 1 of devakshis wedding.
Only difference is dev has realised his moms wrong doing and somewhat punishing her but bijoy was never made realised by sona in fact his ego has been pampered all

Lol! Who won't hide their daughter/ granddaughter from stalkers? It's okay if a stalker breaks into someone's house but if someone thinks about protecting their grandchild then people point fingers. Such logic much wow!
