He didn't see his baby when soha was born, when she took her first steps, when she spoke her first words, when she made those cute little mistakes, when she first went to school, how was her first day of school. Nothing, absolutely nothing.
I am not a mother but I have a younger cousin sister who was born during last year and I can't imagine missing all those moments of her life. Missing all those moments of your own baby is... I don't have any word for it.
Whatever dev has done or whatever he was accused of going, nothing was that big that the guy didn't deserve to know of the existence of his baby girl. And above all the Bijoy boss is trying to talk the little girl into never meeting her father. Like really, imagine not knowing of sona...

It is not as cut and dried as you have put it.

If Sonakshi has failed, the reason for that failure is once again is he himself. He actually told Sonakshi that it is good that she can't become a mother because if she did, she would have been a bad one. Why would ANY mother want to share the news of her pregnancy with such a guy?? That was a direct hit below the belt. You can't brush it by saying - it was said under the heat of the moment. Plus, as Geena said in her Sonakshi Bose decoded post, mom and son played tag with Sonakshi. And after throwing her and her family out on the road, he didn't go check on them? Not even once? He had money, resources. So what stopped him??

Yes he missed out on his duaghter's life. But it wouldn't have happened if he had taken the right stand at the right time. Yes, Sonakshi has failed from his POV. But think of how many time HE failed from Sonakshi's POV.

Yes. He definitely has the right now to spend time with his daughter. But NOT in secrecy. NOT as some kind of payback to Sonakshi. You hid her so now I will hide. And I most DEFINITELY don't want Suhana meeting Ishwari WITHOUT Sonakshi's knowledge.

Yesterday was the first episode post leap where dev nd sona had first honest communication without going straight for the throat at each other. I wish thy both start keeping their brains aside nd start communicating as the term " friend zone " seems to give them a comfort factor to talk which otherwise was missing.

Once dev asked her to spit everything in the open.. sona cudnt stop herself revealing her status.. Looks like he only has to ask to get his desired result😉. Its tht simple. Sona was totally right in proclaiming tht even simplest of things looks complex to him. Maybe if he asks her abt soha too she might reveal the entire truth..

I agree ..irrespective of dev's low IQ he is not able to join the dots because he can never think dat sona can hide about his daughter ...
and if by all the help dev gets to know suhana is his daughter ...i want it to go by option by or rather ur SS way ...where dev n sona fight and talk it out

my Q is same..how will sonakshi compensate it ever?????sometimes I even feel dis she love dev ever.??? m not defending any1 but this is terrible..I mean atleast now she should have said it ..would have make sense..its too late already

n worst she can do is not giving his name to soha...that will hurt dev d most..IMO

I think he will do both. But first he will bond with Suhana.. make the bond stronger.. Wait and watch.. After all,from his pov he has a trump card now...Secondly, he knows that if he storms in and shouts at her over this,Sona may well decide to take Suhana and disappear again... So I don't think he will take that chance..

He will cement his place in Soha's heart...He will wait and confront then Sona at the right time,saying I knew it all along.

It is also possible that he may never confront them and Sona would somehow come to know of his bonding with Soha and then a confrontation would happen(initiated by Sona)

True that. And I loved that he didn't tone down or behave differently just because his mom was there. As I said before, less filters for Dev 2.0

I mentioned this before. Its okay if Dev is devasted and he feels betrayed by the fact that Sonakshi chose to keep his daughter away from him. Based on Soha's story and her interactions, it also appears she wants to meet her dad so that will definitely add to his anger. Afterall, he is human so I wouldn't really fault him if he acts impulsively without really focussing on how he was also responsible for the decision she took 7 years back. But then, after the initial outburst and anger, I'd really like to see him introspect. Not for Sonakshi but for his own daughter. I don't mind if he doesn't understand Sonakshi's POV right away but I'd love to see him step back just to make sure his daughter is not hurt in the process. Instead of saying 'you hid my baby so now i will punish you', I want him to say 'you hid my baby but i don want to separate her from you cos I know what it feels to grow up without your mom'. Dev being mature enough to let go for his daughter's happiness is the best thing that can happen and will also make him a fantastic parent (unlike his own mom) who can look beyond his own hurt and happiness just to ensure his daughter has a normal, happy childhood. Like I said, am okay with the initial impulsive reactions. But I really want to see a mature Dev who understands not for his wife but for his own baby.

I totally agree with your perspective. IMO, Dev's IQ is not the issue here. It is the fact that he still regards Sona at a certain level where there is only hate, not betrayal. He is going to feel very betrayed if he realises that Sona did not even bother to inform him about Soha even after landing up in his own office!

I am not in anyone's team but as far as this topic goes, I think Sona cannot be forgiven. I am quite sure that if Sona had showed up even after 3 months pregnant and told Dev that he needs to leave his family for her, he would have done that. One look at the Dev-Soha scenes makes you feel even worse for what Dev has missed out on.

My question is how will Dev trust Sona again after this betrayal.

I think he is not going to storm into Sona's office. He is going to bond with Soha first and then confront Sona. They will fight ofcourse but I hope to see DevHana bonding first!

I like the point u r making.. that mayb all he has to do is ask.. After all Sona still can't lie.. Time has taught her to hide things better.. but she cant lie..

Another thing is that Dev seems to take immense pleasure in irritating and harassing Sonakshi and Sonakshi seems to be driven by this irresistible urge to answer him back or explain the truth to him 🤔

They know they irritate each other but they seem to relish the idea of the other person creating troubles... This is very weird.. and I am saying this especially after Sona's dialgue a few days back... Sona said that someone was troubling her.. When Jatin asked if it was Dev,she said NO!!!!She said it was Dev's mom...

So after all Dev's stupid harkatein and deewangi she still doesn't feel that Dev is troubling her??? Daal mein bahut kuch kala hai😆😆😆
