Sabita Di,Siya Ke Ram and Devon Ke Dev Mahadev were wonderful shows.They are over now but they are available on Hotstar.

I am a fan of both the shows.Shows like these made mythos popular once again.These shows had some beautiful symbolisms.Do try them out.

Yes,Mr Pattnaik is the creative consultant for both the shows.He is a mythologist by passion.

His books are terrific.Please give them a try.I just loved them.

@Tia,the case which you mentioned was shocking.It's great that the girl's family did a background check on the guy.

And both the girl and his Canadian GF did the right thing by kicking this jerk out of their lives.

But I feel for the girl who had to marry him.

She had a very privileged upbringing. Her upbringing didn't shape her personality (may be made her more independent). But I think Sonakshi adjusted her parenting style to fit Suhana's personality. If Sonakshi had a child like Golu, she would have changed her parenting style to fit Golu's personality. That's what parents do anyway. They find the more effective way to raise children based on their maturity level, understanding level and personality style.

In fact, in North America, as we know, even schools teach children the way they learn the best by taking an aptitude test and by checking their learning style. Parents do the same as well.

Yes, Soha will have her own personality and it will only be groomed and nourished more with her new experience coming from meeting her imaginary father in real...Just hope Dev doesn't hurt Sona thus hurting Soha in the process.. Soha would have been happy with her imaginary dad rather he coming in real to shatter it all with his angry form..

Even I hope the same.Till now Soha has seen only one aspect of Dev's personality.However if Dev reveals the other ugly side of his personality then Soha would be shattered.

This is a golden chance for Dev to overcome all his flaws and earn Soha's respect as a father.

However if he starts playing the Blame Game and revenge games with Sonakshi again then God knows what will happen.

I thought I'll watch this show for some mindless entertainment but I have never ever wanted to murder someone as much as I wanted to kill that maa-beta duo in the last two episodes.
LIKE THE FRUSTRATION WAVES ARE FLOWING OUT OF ME.

All I want is a big bat and bash their heads repeatedly and then watch the blood on the floor so I CAN BE SATISFIED. IT'S LIKE AN ITCH YOU CANNOT SCRATCH!!!

Yes, the first girl's family was smart. But the woman he married came from a poor family from a suburb called Bardhaman. It is outside Kolkata. Her family was so happy to get a NRI groom that they did no due diligence. As it happens in India, the guy got married and came back to Canada to start PR process. The girl stayed in India and then six months later she came to Canada with PR.

I met the new bride at the next Durga Puja. Let me think. I think the girl came to Canada sometimes in May because they got married in December or January the year before and I met her in October. That was like 2009/2010.

So we were introduced and I started talking with her. I asked her how she is settling in and gave her some tips and tricks of how to survive Canadian winter. She then told me that she was kind of worried about me but I am nice to her. I asked her why? She said that she knows that she is not the first choice for them and they had let her know that I was the first choice, but they rejected ME because they wanted a quiet bahu. Just imagine. Not only they hurt her self-respect by making her feel inferior and a second choice, but used ME to let her know what kind of expectations they have from her.

So I told her that actually I rejected the proposal and told her that not to believe me but verify with a few other people. She said that she had a nursing degree from India and wants to do a job. But her husband wants her to do medical office assistant course, so that she can just work in a medical office and has regular hours even though she is a qualified nurse from India and a few course could have helped her earn a lot more money than medical office assistant. Nurses get paid a lot here.

Anyways, I could not help her much. Because I was powerless. But I told her rights as permanent resident and as a wife. She thanked me for letting her know. I gave her my phone no. if she wants to talk. But she never called me. I live in Toronto now. So I am not in touch with her. I hope she is doing well.

Let's imagine Dev's course of action once he finds out that Soha is his daughter.

1.He will fly into a rage and declare the custody war.

2.He will have an emotional breakdown about his daughter and introspect on his own actions which led to this phase.

3.He will confront Sonakshi first and both will have a heart to heart discussion about Sonakshi's circumstances.

4.Both 2 and 3.

Which one might happen?? I really want him to discuss the matter with Sonakshi first and understand her POV.

I want to ask a general question to you all. If Dev snatches Soha, or a custody battle where by some convuluted reason he gets Soha what next?

what happens to the child who had an imaginary Dad as a hero but got a Dad who actually separated her from her mother..what happens to the childs Psyche?

Forget about Sona for a second but just think of the child..will the makers really go that extent? and if they do is there any coming back for Sona and Dev as it is I see it difficult.

And where does that leave Soha who for 6 years knew only one parent. And doesn'tthat mean easwari wins?

Sorry for all these questions but I am not seeing anything remotely logical ( of course this show does not have any) but even emotionally positive if it goes this way

all you experts out there on Indian ML can they even redeem such a character after this?
