Truly beautiful Tia. Totally agree. It, in so many ways, fit multiple interpretations. 👏 After many many days I saw some glimpse of thoughtfulness and subtlety in the dialogs. 😃
About Dev's devotion, the only out-of-character behaviour was Dev asking Ishwari to confirm that. 😕 Like Neela said - REALLY ? 🥱 What has changed so far ? Let's see.
1. Ishwari - Nothing, exactly where she started off.
2. Dev - After 7 yrs, the minimal progress he could make is to ASK Ishwari/cross-question her. How many more years would it take for Dev to finally shun her opinions, answers and thoughts blindly and stop acknowledging that her 'words' matter. A deeply hurt son can still be caring and respectful, I have seen many personal examples around. However, they know where to draw the line. I wish Dev learns to do that. Because once the respect is gone, it's gone. Respect is the only thing which needs to be earned in this world I think ? And also the only thing which is totally in YOUR hand on how to command that from the world. Once respect is lost, with great amount of damage control methods or things one can buy maximum sympathy and pity. But not respect. I hope Dev learns the facade of lies of his mother asap and totally detaches himself from her, not giving her any power to even validate his thoughts. 😕
3. Sona - 😳 I was SO happy when she finally blurted the truth out. Imagine in today's scene Sonakshi stopping after saying 'Go do what your mother says' and leaving the room ? During her marriage she was EXACTLY that. Tried hard not to get herself maligned by meddling too much into this Maa-Beta and let them play their games. But today, if one has learnt the appropriate lesson in last 7 yrs, it HAS to be Sonakshi. 😉 She maintained her dignity and aura in tact, but ALSO learnt to COMPLETE her perspective and clear the picture without bothering about the outcomes or impact of her truth. 👏 Truth is solid and powerful. Hers is the only character which grew leaps and bound post-leap. 😃 Her lack of expressions/effects on Dev's words really impress me. 😛 I truly don't believe the theory of bottled up emotions and that she is not expressing herself etc etc, because this is how and what she has become. Soha's scene with principal about forgiving Golu reflected Sona's compassionionate nature for others, Soha's actions on not wasting food, her courage, truthfulness everything is a proof of what Sona is. Sona's scenes with Asha and Bijoy reflects her happy and content soul. Her friendliness with Jatin reflects a happy life. I am not Ishwari who would try to find 0.01% of invisible unhappiness in someone's life and would cherish it like some nostalgia bringing some 'deep' thoughts out of it. 😆 I see Sona a very self-sufficient, able and independent woman who is living her life peacefully without any regrets 😉.
