This is also not the first incident of its kind I read about.

Believe it or not it's all too common for NRI men to go to India to marry because they believe a woman born and raised in India will have less demands for their rights since they will come to a foreign country away from family and friends.

I knew a guy who already was in a live-in relationship in Canada with a Canadian woman while his family knowing about his live-in relationship was arranging his marriage in India with a girl. He was staying up in the night chatting with the girl in India while his girlfriend thought that he was working late.

But unlike some families, the girl's family asked their friends in Canada to find out about the guy. The friends asked around and lo and behold the truth was revealed that the guy was living with a girl. The family called off the marriage. The guy's family took big offence, insulted the girl's family and threatened that their daughter will never get married.

The girl used google to locate the home phone no. of the apartment he was living in with his girlfriend (there is a website for that), called the apartment, spoke to the girl he was cheating, took their entire chat conversation and emailed it to the girl.

The Canadian girl thanked the Indian girl, kicked the guy out and sent the Indian girl friend request on facebook. Now they are still friends.

What happened to the guy? He went outside the main city of Kolkata to a small subarb and married a girl from a family who didn't protect their daughter like the previous family. How that girl is faring now is another story altogether.

omg this story shocking 😲

Its a delight to be back for your post everyday Tia.
Loved Today's episode. Ishwari said it finally that she is scared that Sonakshi will be back in Dev's life. I don't wish to have a mother like Ishwari to my enemy. She is selfish, obsessive, possessive, psycho to the core of the earth. But why blame her alone for this debacle, Dev proved that he has brain to store things in the memory part of his brain but has no ability to process it. He is able to see his mom's manipulations since Sonakshi has arrived in his life but is reluctant to process it and take action. Its appalling to see even now he does not know what went wrong in his relationship. Like I commented in in another post Dev did not have guts to take care of a precious gem like Sonakshi. Shame on him.
After all this I see posts where people are still questioning who is at fault for this separation, I seriously don't know where to bang my head.

👏 For the lines below

Sorry but every time you give her your fingers, she grabs your throat. Yet, you continue to extend that finger. Had you done the same to Sonakshi, you won't have been alone. But then as people say, women are like trains. One goes, the other will be around the corner. Except when that woman is a mother, then she is Taj Mahal re-incarnated even if she buries her child underground.

For all the mothers out there don't bury your children alive let them breathe, let them live, let them love, let them aspire

I loved today's episode. I felt it is setting the stage for the finale of this game.

The players are the same, but the rules have changed. The weak player just became stronger. Sona Bose who gave it all for love, one who loved Dev, wanted to truly belong in his family was cruelly ousted due to the manipulation a of a master player. Dev the pawn lived in delusion than and still lives in delusion. He knows at a subconscious level what his mother is capable of but unless he acknowledges he will not be able to stand tall.

Sona Bose still loves Dev , she knows now why her marriage failed it was not for dearth of love..but it was because of his mother. She made it very clear today she knows the rules of this game now,she is no longer the naive young girl..

Now the ball is clearly in Dev court it remains to be seen how he will play this. Because he still loves Sona. Suhana though a factor will not be a factor for Sona to go back to Dev . Easwari will again manipulate about Sona not having a child but will loose that round too.

Vicky and Mami clearly will play high stakes. I think ( still hopeful) that Dev Dixit the hero will arise and woo his Sona now mother or no mother ..because he has everything to loose of he doesn't because soha may consider him his father and want to know him but will never leave her mother.

If the makers take it this way it would be awesome..or they can be radical and Dev and Sona know that Dev can never go against his mother so with their love intact they live separately raising Soha..which is a possibility too because of the last promo

Tia stupendous write up as always.

The main problem lies with human desires which turn into weaknesses, a lady wants to be the first person in a male's life be it her father/husband/son and a man's incapability to handle all the relationships appropriately finally curves more onto one side.

I've analysed so many couples around me which finally landed me into some conclusions. Whenever I see a happy couple, my mind goes to thinking that either these guys parents must be good enough to let them be or this couple might be the harshest persons who are ignoring their parents in blind love for each other. Its usually one or the other case.

I'm not a regular viewer of this show but I can only say that Sona tried beyond her limits to merge with Dixits and so she isn't in the wrong. Dev too isn't in the wrong as he's selfless and while trying to protect he lost everything. I still respect Dev (even if he's brainless) as I'm against blind/illogical love for opposite gender which makes a person sacrifice all his other relationships without any remorse. Dev isn't blind to either his mom's faults or his wife's sacrifices, he just seems to have given up on even trying to build any relationship for now.

I've adapted a clever method for answering as to who's more important in your life. Me as a child, whenever someone asked me who's your favourite among your parents then my answer was always "my sibling" and now as I'm grown up (thoda brain aur lagake) my answer would be "I love myself the most". I know people would think I'm selfish but I think this is the best way to totally avoid such a stupid question. Is life a game where we have to select either 1/2 as parent/partner or own child/nephew!! Of course one's own child is more precious to anyone but when they're still children can't they be equally treated!! Why should they be prioritised at all!!

Yep. They were more real now than they were 7 years back.

And Sonakshi voicing out made my heartbeat raise so much that I felt her vulnerability and annoyance in putting some sense into Dev.. I was like "please say it all without breaking down" She was almost there but glad that she picked herself up and walked away...👏

I am 100% sure that when Sonakshi finds out about what Soha wants, she will never stand herself or let anyone else stand between Soha and Dev.

This is the reason i am against whole idea of making sona ishwari part 2 ,sona should have her own share of fears but please don't justify ishwari in the name of mothers insecurities because that will mean whatever MIL do to their DIL in the name of love for their son is okay .That will be brushed under this shield. 😕😕 we have to see how sona will handle whole soha and dev bonding .I am 100 percent sure she will never hurt soha at cost of her own happiness unlike ishwari who is manipulation ki Murat and destroyed her son's life .Hope sona will take right decision for her daughter .

I don't think CVs even watching their own written episodes hence the disconnect. But I don't think they can make Sonakshi an evil person without completely ruining the essence of the character and the family's characteristics. The entire Bose family is all about independence and personal choices. So depicting otherwise will just completely re-write the story with unrecognizable characters.

Omg Andro that sounds horrible. Worst is he slept with mom like W*F??? And then had the audacity to taunt the girl? Worst human being ever. I hope she gets help she needs and divorce happens without any problem.

Tia and you all you think CVs intentionally making Soha a victim so that Sona bcm a evil person and all can be like aww poor dev...Cz they showed first Soha had the choice about meeting her dad and now she made a promise??? Sona never took a promise like that! If you want to show more greyer shade of Sona how she's no perfect they should have digged deeper as to how she was wrong hiding about kid. About the struggle and coldness.

Ishwari's logic doesn't make sense to me. But she said if after knowing that his mother is a lier, will Dev throw Ishwari out and bring back Sonakshi in his life?

Me: Besan ka Halwa samajhke rakhha hain kya Sonakshi ko, Maataji? Ki aapka puttar apna desi ghee lagayega aur woh batli mein apne upar dry fruits daalke utar jayegi? Woh zamaana hua purana. Ab Sonakshi aapke puttar ki Mishti Doi jamayegi... 😆

Sonakshi was a treat to watch today.I can watch that scene on loop.
Ishwari :I haven't tortured you enough Dev beta. Just a little more. I am very hopeful that my lies and deception will work just like it did before.
Dev:Oh? I thought you've had your share of fun.I guess not.Play away.I'll believe everything you say despite having an inkling of what you are capable of and then play the blame just like you.

Sona: Allow me to open your eyes to reality Mr Dixit.
Me: .Go Sonaaa!!
Dev: Maa? Did you really lie & try to play with my life again?
Me: Really Dude?
Ishwrai :Who me? I would never think ill for you beta.
Me: A gift for you Ishwari

Golu and Soha are definitely giving mini Ishwari & Sona feels but the biggest difference is their innocence and pure heart. I won't even elaborate on how unrealistic & thoughtless the teachers are shown to be.I can never imagine a teacher being so careless with her comments and ignoring the family problems that both the children seem to have. Ye writers kisi profession ko nahi chodenge, be it doctor or teacher. 🤔

OMG me too. I watched the episode three times already and will watch it again. I love this strong and powerful Sonakshi as much I hated the doormat Sonakshi. My heart went mmm... If I had a son, I'd have sent his proposal for Sonakshi. 😃

Absolutely loved Sona-Dev interaction today.

Awesome post Tia!!

Yeah...even I 'm having girl crush on Sona...

She gave it all back without breaking down...can I be more proud of her.

Agree ..Dev was too happy to know that Sona is not marrying...no dhokha by her...'she is just like him' ...etc that he forgot to get angry on Ishu. This shows the difference between Sona's hold and Ishu's on Dev 2.0...Ishu does not affect him much...its Sona now.

Its a weird choice to say a son to choose between wife and mother. Why does he have to? Dev loves Ishu...no matter what. I dont want it to change. But then why cant he be happy with Sonakshi. Ishu and her logic...

Dev ka logic...what to say...all of u have said so many things...even Sona did today. Truth will stare at u and u think its a puzzle...*sigh*...wo pata lagana chahta hai about sona and soha...haila!! Faltu ke detectives office mein jo paal rakhe hai...koi kaam to hai nahi.

CVs should not show Dev as this much dumb...its becoming very difficult to digest...Suhana Bose, Sonakshi Bose...aur kya chahiye...may be he is thinking she is Sourabh's daughter🤔...even that does not make sense

@Andro,@Pushpull
As u both discussed such cases like Ishu-Dev do exist. I always maintained I dont hate Dev bcoz inspite of being a momma's boy, he actually cared for Sona and loved her...the reason why Ishu is still afraid of Sonakshi bcoz of the bond he has with her . In reality, I have seen mamma's boys spoiling lives of free-spirited girls and breaking them emotionally...multiple cases among my family and friends. Its worse.
