Hey Neela. Please don't assume i'm a deep sorta person.😆 I can very well watch nange, AYM heroes and their heroines without really caring about the characters and just watching for entertainment 'hotness' value but ky2 is one show i really loved and watched for the characterization. I wouldn't want to elaborate on that on a non ky2 forum but Manik and Nandini's lovestory was thankfully not bout that. when he bullied her, she completely hated him. and he hated her. it was never a bully -love music played-bully again. They showed it for what it was--disgusting and wrong. they started falling for one another only when they started knowing one another and trusting and respecting one another and which is why i fell in love with them. And he really proved to be the man of her dreams beyond a shadow of doubt later so i will always love them regardless of the discrepancies.

Baki it's the same story for all Desi soaps - 1st 100 episodes to lure the audience and then keep regurgitating the same old cud 🤢 Literally happening in S2 of KRPKAB!! 😡

A marathi serial currently running (with 10X lower budget than KRPKAB) has shown this progression of MIL and DIL relation so well 👏 and also exactly how the husband stands firmly behind his newly wed wife for her self respect!! But alas..the TRP aunties want the DIL to be tortured and the younger girls want tashan and HOT hero guessing on chaand sitare. That's why Dev is bichara and Sona is the egotist

@ Blue: All sane viewers of this serial would certainly love to see that side of Dev but I don't trust the CVs a bit. I said this just yesterday and today's Dev's behavior just proved that I jinxed the upward graph already 😔

trying to keep it cool and only react when his dear daughter is not treated right is wrong ? I never saw bijoy forcing or blackmailing sona into doing somethign that she doesnt want to... how is bijoy responsibile for the separation is still mind boggling to me

Thank you. I believe Sonakshi has that capability to get over her insecurity for the sake of the people she loves. Bijoy is a harder nut to crack, yet he cracked when he realized Sonakshi only loved Dev. Then Sonakshi has some Asha in her as well. She will take the right step. Not to mention, the entire Bose family don't speak platitudes. Unlike Dixits who only say what each other wants to hear, Bose family tell straight talk to each other. So even if Sonakshi wants, they won't let her turn into Ishwari.

Seriously it is so frustrating to read posts equating Sona's feelings for Soha to Ishwari's to Dev. I know where this is coming from - like Ishwari everyone thinks Dev is an 8 year old like his daughter Soha. I feel so frustrated and pathetic.
