Just like breakup...even though he broke up with Sona...but still his expectations were that Sona wud nvr stop loving him. He got into action only bcoz Rithwik's entry n Sona's engagement talks otherwise he had adjusted to the situation n life without Sona even though it wud b painful.

Now also he has conveniently forgotten all other events n his own role in the separation. He didn't understood Sona's POV then...n even now is not ready to understand her version n introspect his own actions n inactions. He doesn't remember he asked her to leave his house, all those things he said, how Ish ent bought Sona's home.

Now as story is progressing I feel...Sona wud feel guilty once she knows abt Ish's manipulations in prenup n Vicki's in house eviction. Rest everything wud b left unanswered. Dev's mistakes wud not be discussed at all...everything wud b blamed either on Ish or Sona. N biggest guilt for Sona wud be not telling abt Soha.

Abi.. what is this point of blame game.. no one gets anything..

If there is no love, no point of trying to infuse it again..

but here both are still very much in love..

so its about starting it all over again.. n now they have a better reason.."Soha"

Dev and Sonakshi truly loved each other but both were the same their first responsibility was towards family making sure their parents are always happy family members are always happy putting themselves always last

When Dev broke up with Sonakshi , she promised her father to do whatever he (Bijoy) says when she had to get engaged it was for her parents sake

as at that time she promised Bijoy to do whatever he says

both Dev left her because of his mother's happiness and she was going to get engaged for her fathers happiness

Ishwari and Bijoy after much arguments realized their children still loves each other so they should marry , though Dev and Sona love each other both never spoke about the pain they went through both never made it a point to realize the importance they have in each others life all they realized was their heart breaks and now nothing mattered as both were getting married

Their wedding was beautiful but their marriage was already doomed

Bijoy pulling at the strings from Sona's end while Ishwari pulled harder at the strings from Dev's end

both sacrificed their quality time in name of family and just had few stolen moments with each other but they were very happy and in love with each other .

Dev always believed that his best friend his wife his life his love will stand strong by his side no matter what happens while Sona too believed the same both failed each other not because they didn't care but because family pressure was too strong pulling them apart

Sonakshi is deeply hurt she is angry at Dev even after seven years which clearly show us they has become strong on the professional front but emotionally she is still weak she blames Dev for not their destroyed marriage for the fact that he never stood by her side while Dev too deeply hurt by the separation distant himself from his family because he no longer believed in relations the one relation that made him alive was no longer there

both carry a heavy faade showing each other their anger their hatred

but both are blaming each other

Dev though angry with his mother knows it was also her fault but Sonakshi has promised him a lifetime of togetherness so he will be much more angrier with her much more hurt by her

The way I perceive Dev's character is that he is a very black and white type of a person - there are only 2 ways for him for anything - And I think that was very evident in his every behaviour.

Also, as he has said himself multiple times,he views his relation with Sona as the only thing he has done for himself.. every other relationship in his life is that of duty, responsibility, gratitude, reverence etc. Only with Sona, its a pure no-conditions, no-pretenses bond, in that sense I think he doesnt see Sona as being different from him.

Even though he knows and acknowledges all the hurt she has gone through because of him or his family, he feels that she is not separate from him and hence he cannot even accept not being together.

I think the final straw for him was that on the pre-nup thing, she chose to believe Vicky Vs him - that broke him

Its interesting though, that Sona didnt use the word "hatred" instead said "anger" that she sees in his eyes - although Dev insists all he feels is hatred for her! Even now, its evident she knows him better than he knows himself and considering that fact, I think Dev is angry that she left him when she should have been next to him!

Dev is blaming Sona because she had promised that, even if Dev leaves her she will not leave him.

So he his always angry on SONA.

Sona is not at all at fault she even tried to fix it but dev threw her out because of his mom fighting for her self respect was good but things messed up prenup added fuel to her already burnt house and Vicky tricked too and dev is not saint what all he said who would stick by she just left I don't think sona was at fault he even taunted about her not being a mother and that led to breakup his anger his mouth and drink burnt his relationship

Its not abt blame game, Dev did lot of mistakes too that led to separation he has to own them. Putting all blame on Ishwari and Sonakshi is not right. Sona had made mistakes too n even she has to understand those thoroughly. Both of them hav their own justifications, some right some wrong n they hav to introspect their own decisions and shortcomings.I want Dev n Sona to come together not bcoz of Soha but bcoz of their love n for this have to make things right what all went wrong 7yrs back.

Regd this topic..Dev's anger is mainly bcoz of the fact that she left him even when he pleaded her to stay n didn't trust him abt prenup n house thing. He was ready to forget every incident of the past n make a fresh start with Sona but she just couldn't forget all past incidents n trust him. Dev needs to understand Sona's POV also n introspect where he went wrong that when the time came she cudnt trust him. N this is what I am expecting post leap..once they realise they still love each other...they have to discuss n understanding each other's pov n build trust gradually.
