Now let me talk abt the office office game...
Dev entered his cabin with his favorite coffee ( later switched to tiny miny bottle of wine or vodka whatever)... Followed by his die hard habit to have a look at his love to start his day with...
Then he got to hear Bengoli... N headed to have a check from the hole... Yeah first he was shocked to see an unknown guy being so much friendly with Sona... Then he recalled n calculated n concluded it that he was Sona's Sun... He instantly got angry n tried hard to get back to his work... But this man... His habits r die hard when it comes to Sona... Kept on staring at her.. n guys that smirk, smile n happiness... Incredible... Of course it is... Since after years he saw his old Sona... That Sona with which he is in love... Post leap he has always seen Sona which is rude to him, who is not smiling... Not happy... He got to see that... N the way he was enjoying his love...He has told her that when he sees her he feels that no prblms exist... He forgets everything, all the prblms, worries, pain, hurt when he is with her (old Sona for whom he fell in love) ... The same happened that tym... He forgot his prblms n all n was busy enjoying his love after years.. Seeing her happy jus the way he always wanted her to see...he was distracted when his employees entered n requested for the party... As soon as he got distracted he saw the new Sona... Again all the prblms, pain n hurt came back ... N he to get rid instantly asked for the party ATM... So this tym he choose his tiny miny bottle... Also he was in a mood to party with the dose of his old Sona by which he felt better n light... He got to see his Sona happy...

Again Sona got disturbed with the noice n came to him... He said U r the prblm ( I got to see U happy n m celebrating, here too love n hurt together became the reason to party)...

Further he diclosed that he has cracked who the Sun of her life is.. n when Sona pointed the same which he has pointed her at the school that he too has still not moved on, n he got irritated...
Then comes the man to calm her down n he is shocked to see that he came to help Sona, Sona followed his advice n went with him... How can Dev bear some one else than him being so much near to Sona... N Sona listening that person who is unknown to him...

Chalo atleast they have started TUM-TUM, pointing fingers at eachother... Ab jaldi ek dusre ko ek durse ki past mistakes point karna shuru kar do... Khud ko khudse hi answers mil jayenge...

Has anybody watched movie "sweet home Alabama". It is an U. S movie starring Reese Witherspoon. In that movie she and her husband who is also her high school sweetheart separate after just a few months of marriage. She moves to New York and becomes a famous fashion designer. She sends divorce papers to her husband repeatedly, but he keeps sending them back. In New York another guy falls for her and she too accepts his proposal.

She comes back to her hometown to get the divorce papers signed by him. Finally realizes that she never really moved on and still loves her husband so much so that he had signed the divorce papers, but she hadn't.

I hope they have something similar like this in KRPKAB. Maybe this is why Jatin is brought. 😉

I did enjoy that movie a lot though...

@Shaavi: I love that movie, and it's a really good template for how this season can proceed in terms of Dev and Sona's relationship. It also works on multiple levels because later in the movie, Reese Witherspoon realises that the ambition-less husband she left behind has completely changed in the years since she saw him. The love was always there, but she felt like he held her back in the provincial lifestyle she wanted to escape. When it became clear that he could be the supportive spouse she needed for her new lifestyle, the obstacles to their love melted away.

It's a beautiful movie and the chemistry between the leads and his unspoken love for her was so charming. I read somewhere in this forum that Jatin could be the 'evil' character on this show. Made me ponder if that could be true. Though his introduction made him look like a calm guy who is a good listener and genuine. But, what if Jatin turns evil and wants Suhana to be looked after by Bijoy-Asha? What if Jatin is obsessed with Sonakshi and she starts comparing Dev and Jatin? Secondly, since life comes full circle, what if Saurabh's beau faces the same problems that Sonakshi faced at Dixit mansion? What if the Bose family cut a cake on Saurabh's birthday before his beau arrives? Can the Bose's change post leap? Just a thought process. Because the Creatives can look within KRPKAB for inspiration. 😃

I too love that movie, especially the reason Reese Witherspoon gives when the lead asks why she wants to stay married to him. 😆 😆

I had one more thing on my mind. I rewatched the episode where Dev breaks the partition wall. In that he tells Sonakshi that she does not know how to build or maintain relationships. Was that just a quip by Dev or did he mean that as the truth.

What I mean to say is Sonakshi is also rich and powerful now. She called the security and police came to her regarding the trespasser. But both hesitated to do their duty when they learned it was Dev. Even when he admitted that she was right, the police still hesitated. Dev's influence did not just come from money. He could get a chef to trust him with his kids for hours and bake a cake for him late at night. Did Dev mean that Sonakshi cannot do that...

Just wondering what he meant by what he said. Especially since Sonakshi could understand people better and did build relationship with Ishwari in the beginning of last season. Sonakshi at that time even developed a bond with Neha up to a certain extent.

Not intended to hurt anybody, but wanted to understand the meaning of those words... 😊

@Rekha: Very interesting thoughts about the potential for Jatin. Other than Ayaan, the CVs have never introduced an explicitly negative character as a love interest and so that possibility is left wide open if they want to go for something different. Another possible angle I thought of for Jatin is the "nice guy" type, the ones who are there for the girl when she is vulnerable, but with the assumption that the girl will eventually give in and fall for them out of gratitude. I'm thinking grey shades like Ranbir Kapoor's character in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the guys who consider "friend zone" some kind of injustice. Jatin might have held his peace all these years because Sona was single and not ready, with the assumption that as soon as she was, he'd be her first choice. Some how the way Sona thanked him for investing in her company and believing in her (when Dev and her relationship fell apart over the latter doing a very similar thing) rang alarm bells in my serial-experienced head that everything is not as it seems.

Of course, since this show has always been a bit hatke, there is every chance that Jatin is just going to be the friend she needs to open up about her feelings since the break-up. Because Sona has nobody to talk to in all honesty, we haven't really heard her side of the story yet. That is what I am most looking forward to.

Hi,

After reading all the post's related to yesterday's episode Now I am putting my thoughts. But my thoughts are not related to the yesterday's episode but they are on the discussion was going on the our thread. I want to put the thoughts on how your parents and your environment in in which you live your life will impact on your life. Here I seen some post who were comparing Ishu and bijoy but before I discuss this point I want to mention some thoughts related to Dixit and bose family and there impact on dev and sona's personality here some references belong to s1 and some of s2. and some points are belongs to my previous posts which was not the part of this thread.

There is the basic difference between the how two families think.

If I consider the Dixit family they have a very difficult past. There funda to live the life is survival. In there past mostly Dev and Ishwari has to fight for there survival and they required to fulfill there day to day needs so there thinking is solve the current problem. That's why dev's every solution is a quick fix(in s1) this is because of the life he has in his past. For his pride the secondary part. Because in the past he and his family's survival they cannot afford to have a pride.

On the other hand we have a very much educated middle class family Bose. Who never required to fought for their survival as they are the middle class family they have no problem to solve there day to day need so for them pride the very much important.

Now this is the environment in which both dev and sona have there childhood and young age . Now the impact of dev on his past. he has seen the lot of problems which are related to money and survival . He has seen his mother to sacrifice her pride for her and her children survival. He must have seen how his mother get treated in the society and even with in his relatives(especially mami) and how his mother used to keep quite and expect from dev in the very young age that he is now going to responsibly to become rich and give the status and respect to his mother and for Ishu's point of view it is achieved by money and the power which comes with the money. So his whole aim for his childhood and young age is to become the rich and powerful which he achieved with this hard work and the sacrificing his own identity as dev. The another important aspect which is related to the god image and preferences to the Ishu's wish is having an another angle. That is Ishu and Neha's relation. Because from the childhood neha was not at all connected to his mother and she was the only person who was able to give the feel to the Ishu that she is not a good mother and dev who was giving the opposite feel that she is the great mother which gives the Ishu happiness and for small dev and young dev to give this happiness to mother more important . But some were deep down he knows that neha was correct. That's why he never able to force naha to change her behavior his mother I think this was the start of god image which Ishu was enjoying in the s1 and at the end of s1 it was broken and dev was forced to see the human face of his mother and Dev 2.0 is now able to see all the layers.

Now coming to Bose family impact on sona. firstly as Neha was having the complains about Ishu in the same way Bijoy was not much connected to dada. he was more associated to sona as she was and his princess and she was the only one who always fulfill the bijoy's expectation in return she hear that she is the pride of his father. and how his big brother is not able to fulfill his father's expectation and his bitter words related to dada. but dada got the support of asha and dadi so his need for love get fulfilled so he was not bitter as neha. But If you consistently say to your child that she is his pride, she is strong and her decision are always right it creates the additional burden on sona. which she was handling successfully. Here dev and soan always carries the burden on consciously and one is subconsciously. both parents want that there favorite child should not fail and should be become strong. and both dev and sona idealize there favorite parent. Some where at the start of s1. Dev was has the emotional imbalance and at the end of s1 some how because of his mother's and families betrayal he started to get this balance so now he see them as they are. and at the end of s1 sona has lost this balance and idealized the Bijoy and his expectation .

here if you are me both the parenting techniques are wrong. Ishu is wrong because he used his son to find the solution to her problem and to fulfill her need to get the importance in his life and to get the undivided attention. And at the same time bijoy is also wrong when he indirectly put the burden the sona to be perfect and allow her to take the imp decision related to financial matters in which she was not supposed to come in to the picture without thinking about the impact on future and when that decision which she take by her own get failed and actully the path by which there was a possibly go choose the path where dev was there get lost.

she get convinced subconsciously that her decisions are wrong and she choose the path which was shown by bijoy. and at that point she lost herself. So at the end of s1 dev some were found himself and soan lost herself.

Good question, and good observation. Dev's statements always seem purely vindictive because a.he says them with such a malicious tone, and b. he always takes them a step too far. But what I have come to understand about Dev, which 2.0 has shown more explicitly, is that he is a keen observer and there is usually a grain of truth in those statements, which is why they get under the recipient's skin, be it Sona, Ishwari, or Vicky.

Where it comes to business, Dev has proven time and again that he has the clout to say the arrogant things he does. And I know it's not ideal, but in India, running a successful business has a lot to do with the people you know and the influence you weild as a result. Even in the Ayaan case, the police comissioner was a phone call away and on informal terms with Dev. Somewhere deep down, as much as she might deny it outwardly, Sona knows this about Dev as well. That is why, despite her insistence that she is his equal now, she is scared of his capacity to take Soha from her.

This was also illustrated in the conflict between Golu and Soha, where she used official means while he used his personal connections (mentioning his bigcha to the teacher). Golu got stuck once, but then he found a way to get around it, while Soha earned the reputation of being a tattle tale with the principal, which creates a dangerous boy who cried wolf situation. Dev and Golu are tapped in to the fact that even authority figures are human beings, whose feelings factor into their decisions. Sona and Soha with their idealism see the system of justice as something that exists above human flaws, and can be used to keep them in check, and while I don't deny that that is how it should be, but it's a bit naive to be entirely dependent on any abstract system.
