The term deja vu is French and means, literally, "already seen." Those who have experienced the feeling describe it as an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that shouldn't be familiar at all. We have gone thru this in real life so many times
In this story lot of things that happened in Season 1 seems to be happening all over again with a twist in Season 2.
Halwa: The Halwa seems to be a constant on this show.
Easwari loves making Halwa for Dev
Dev loves eating Halwa made by her
Sona tries her hand at halwa - fails
Easwari feels happy that her Halwa remained hers alone
Twist
Easwari makes Halwa
Dev does not eat it anymore
What is the Halwa Funda? is it that what we enjoy also becomes not enjoyable if there is an overdose?
Fire:
Mamiji set fire to their home so that they can move in Dev's house
Easwari remembers how Dev used to fuss over her when she got burnt
Sona sets fire to Dev office to escape
Dev is no where to be seen when Easwari gets hurt in fire this time
Will Mamiji fire secret get out?..what else is the significance of these fires?
Rags to Riches
Dev story was a rags to riches one
Sona after being thrown out and now almost seems to be a story of Rags to riches too
Accidental Love
The first accident Sona had made her realize her love for Dev
This accident that Dev had..
who will realize what?
Money:
A recurring element in both seasons
Dev had loads
Easwari thought Sona was about to get that
Mami and vicky wanted it
Sona did not have much/Bijoy almost had an aversion for it
Now:
Sona and Dev seemed to have it
Mamiji and vicky still want it
Where does Easwari /Bijoy stand now?
Childhood
Dev and Neha children brought up in poverty
Dev given every luxury ..Neha sacrificed - a neglected child
Golu and Soha children brought up in luxury
Soha seems to grown up for her age..maybe had to be responsible at an early age like Dev
whereas Golu seems neglected yes he is getting a material things but is he getting Love?
Motherhood
Easwari the single mother whose life revolved around Dev
She was his God
Sona the single mother whose life revolves around Soha
Soha thinks she is equal to Sonakshi
And Finally GOD
Dev did not belive in GOD ( other than his MOM)
Easwari had a altar in her home
Sona had strong belief
Sona has an altar in the office ( which is Dev home nowadays)
I have given my thoughts and would like to hear yours.. This is not Dev VS Sona but just to see if the makers had some vision in keeping these themes throughout to make their story
It is like De Ja Vu all over again- Yogi Bera
