I also wanted to tell a few things.
I really felt bad for Dev yesterday.
I just wanted to tell him that the woman standing before you is not your sona anymore
I was thinking about bijoy & iswari.
These two don't have any regrets in spoiling their children's life.
As a good father, he should have supported sona emotionally.
If he felt Dev was a bad choice, he should have discussed with her in detail not immediately, but in due course.
Only then sona would have opened up.
They have lived their life.
Is it too much to ask to a parent to think about the future of their child??

In that case bijoy have not understood sona at all.
She has a forgiving nature.
She loves Dev with all his weakness & flaws.
What bijoy thinks right may not be right for sona.

If he had showed some greatness as sona did in birthday of dev ,
Things would not have gone this bad. I am not defending anybody.
Was thinking what could have saved their marriage.

Ok . They had separated. Atleast then bijoy should have advised her to move on.
He thought about his insult only .
True, sona has become emotionally distant from them.
Soha is the only solace for her.
For Dev ?? He lost everything.
If iswari has not learnt anything after this , then nobody can help.
If parents think that it is not their fault, then what children will do ?

This is a big eye opener for those parents who think that they know better what their children want from life.
They didn't need 400 chores. They just wanted their home back, right??
Bijoy should have been the person to make sona understand that there is much more to life than ego & pride.
Any parent in this situation would have done that.
I am not saying go & marry sona off to another person the next month itself.
Bijoy did the same mistake during their break up & now also.

According to them sona & Dev are strong (bijoy & iswari)
They always hid their vulnerable side from their parents,
Alas !! If they think like any normal parent, then Dev & sona would not be in this situation.

Sorry for my long rant.
As parents, we have to be mature & responsible.
Forgiveness is one thing which anyone should have & need to teach the younger generation also.
Today's world- where divorce is so common on some trivial issues,
Parents always have an important part to play- to guide them in right direction.

Sam, thank you for this lovely thread. All the people who write here are amazing and their posts are so well balanced - it's always Devakshi not team Dev or team Sona(unlike woefully one-sided rants). Been a silent reader for the last two weeks but today I thought I would just say some things too. I liked that Dev seemed in control after the two spineless taunts by Sonakshi. I believe he just said 'that's enough Sonakshi' in a mild tone, did not even shout but I felt his eyes showed how hurt he was(at least I'd like to think so). Dev's taunt about 'nutrionist', I somehow don't think it's to belittle her- he's always been vocal about her being the best- it's the mystery that Dev2.0 is now. I don't know why he said it or what he actually meant, I hope someone over here enlightens me. Yes, he started the ugly spat and Sona finished it. In all this, I was having a weird expression on my face seeing Bijoy so proud of his daughter's attack on his ex? - SIL. Maybe proud that his daughter is a chip off the old block? . As much as Ishwari is to blame for DevAkshi's marriage falling apart Bijoy is equally to blame. This ugliness is getting to me, where is the introspection? Dev is an open book to read, he is so affected by Sona but then he always used to wear his heart on his sleeve. I can't see one iota of Sona getting affected whenever Dev is near 😕 or are we being deliberately kept in the dark? Whatever it is, I'd like to see some mind voices of Sona at least just for me to be happy that she still loves Dev.. with all this spitting and hurting going on I can't seem to see the once so-in-love Devakshi. 😭 . Lastly, come rain or shine or hurtful things said I love Dev and Sona to bits and I will always be team Devakshi.
P.S : I do feel a bit more for Dev nowadays with the current status quo. I somehow can't relate to the cold Sonakshi even if she is justified to some extent.

It's tamasha time. And I think it will continue till the situation gets very very ugly or vicky will harm Sonakshi in some way so that Dev forgets all about his latest time pass of provoking Sona.

Lovely posts here. 👏 To continue my analysis, as mentioned by some writers here, I was not so happy with Bijoy's demeanour. Yes, he is proud to see his daughter standing up to Dev, but not when you are wrong!! 🤣 She appeared to be calling him names as she was proved wrong in front of her employees. So sad! And Bijoy was gloating at this behaviour. He knows what Dev is capable of. I am sure there would be a convo between Bijoy-Asha where he could admit that he could have corrected Sonakshi or advised her instead of being a by-stander. He may regret some of his actions.

While Dev has a one-point agenda, Sonakshi needs to stop provoking Dev, because if he reacts, she may not be able to handle it. It could be insulting too and her employees themselves may find all this as a pass-time activity. 😃 Sonakshi needs to sit down and use her brain cells more appropriately. Since she was sharing the office space she could have made sliding doors to separate the two offices. That's allowed. Why instigate and lose your cool too? Spend your time more wisely. Ignore Dev and continue with her job, else she would be stressed out and a time would come when she can remove all her frustrations on Suhana!!

When it comes to Sona's fake indifference and not giving expected reactions to Dev or viewers, I am having a little different POV here. I feel more than dev Sona is the one who is most affected by his indifference towards her success. He is always settling score with her when she is instigating him with her actions and then he is leaving it there and moving forward. But Sona is not happy with this because she needs to hear from him that miss Bose you are right and I am wrong as an acknowledgment to her success which she is not getting from him. And I think that's the reason why she is coming back in to his radius again and again and instigating him to get her desired reaction. When her ego and pride comes in to picture then her senses takes back seat. This is what happened in ritwik phase also, she can't take it when he shows mirror to her since she got used to hear miss Bose I am proud of you from him always. That time when he said you're doing all this to hurt me even though you still love me, she was not able to take that bitter truth and made her marriage with ritwik a mere challenge and we all saw its consequences that time.

I have a some doubts. I was watching the episode where Dev tells maami and co that it was Sonakshi who brought his building.

In that episode Vickky said that he sold his 49% shares. Were they shares of Dev's company. If so is Sona now partner of Dev's company. I mean I thought Vickky just sold part of the building and he did that thinking he has that power because of that 49% shares. Can anyone please clarify if Sona did buy that 49% of shares from Vickky or is only owner of that building or was that 49% actually percentage of the building space or was it a goof up by the CVS.

The other thing is in the episode where Dev announces that he is closing the trading company, he says to Vickky that he is not closing his 400cr company. In the above mentioned episode xGKB says that her "red" has finally become a "karodpathi". So is Vickky not yet a karodpathi and is aspiring to become one?. Does it mean that Dev just made him the CEO and so Vickky is just supposed to take care of Dev's company as his proxy. Does it mean that Vickky is still poor compared to Dev and Sonakshi?

Can someone help me. I am totally confused... 😳 😕

Forgot to mention one more thing (this show is making me crazy too, making me think , analyze and over analyze 24x7 😆 ). When Sonakshi was lecturing Dev about how he couldn't stand it that she had made it to the rich club all on her own without his help and Dev was quietly taking it, I somehow felt that Dev was the initial investor in her start-up(gosh this word has me in splits now, with Dev's start-up queen jibe). One more thing to Dev's credit, he never lets anyone know of his generous nature(monetary). I also don't find anything wrong here or can't understand why people rant about why they can't show sonakshi being successful on her own . The way I see it, Dev is a businessman with great acumen and he just invested in a business that he thought would give him great returns and it just so happens that that start-up 😆 was Sonakshi's. All the hard work of making it profitable was done by her. If it was any other investor, it would have been said 'of course she made it on her own, she didn't need her good-for-nothing ex!!! . Take that Dev Dixit' . Even at the award function Dev actually told Sona to be proud of her hard work. I want to see this come to pass and Sona eating her words 😆 .

Honestly speaking shaavi, I am not at all looking at logic now a days while watching the show. If we start looking for logic then I also want to know how Sona got back her home when it belongs to ishwari communications. She came to Delhi to sort out issues in that branch then how come the whole family shifted here one after other and Soha school admission and buying new work space immediately with out even knowing to whom it belongs to before registration. Even if we consider that vikky holds 49 percent shares then it's not easy to sell company property with out board of directors permission then how dev came to know about this deal after its completion and without bod permission how this deal will be legal.

A private company can exist without board of directors. It can be a one man show or a family concern. I.e family members own the shares of the company or are considered as partners. Before giving Vickky it is possible that Dev was the sole owner with 100% shares and had unanimous authority to take decision. He may have made Vickky owner of 49% on paper since the company is now grown to such a big empire. He might have done this for tax purposes or some such thing.

That is why I am confused... 😊

@shaavi, is it that simple to sell company property even if we consider that there is no bod, their legal department won't come to know about this deal before registration. It's the same legal department who came up with prenup when they got the news that their boss is going to get married. It's too weird to accept that vikky finished entire deal with out any one getting any information about this.
