I want to know what your opinion about devs reaction to vickys comments about sona? Yesterday did dev not say the same to sona (I probably misinterpreted ithat statement to be something else).both dev & sona can insult each other but other people should not?

Great thoughts everyone!

In today's episode when Dev was talking to Vicky ,Dev told Golu that they were talking about a "chor".

Was he referring to Vicky in the name of Sonakshi? When Golu asked him to tell the story he told you won't be able to listen to it.

She made me proud by not over analysing the reason for the glow on Dev's face. She has had to make peace with whatever little she gets.

My opinion may not be very popular, however, I was happy to see the chulha, halwa and her sat on the floor cooking food for the family. A healthy mind is a prerequisite for introspection and only a happy mind can be healthy. We know Ishwari needs a happy Dev around her to be happy. She showed us hope that she now knows that just because she isn't happy about something doesn't mean Dev can't be happy about it. She knows what has changed and this time atleast she didn't deny that sonakshi may be the reason of her son's happiness. She still thinks when Dev says he isn't affected he means it. Baby steps

Dq ish reminded me of the day after the love confession Dev is sitting at the table with a big smile, looking at sona ( one of my favorite scenes). Ish comes & says she's happy to see him so happy. Just like this time she doesn't realize the reason is Sona & only Sona.

As you say a healthy mind may lead to introspection (but why chulha) . Hopefully she has a few moments of that. Story is really progressing at snails pace.

Yes you are right still Ishwari doesn't know Dev's happiess lies only with Sona.

Great thread...wonderful analysis n healthy discussions...kudos everyone ! 👍🏼 I felt this thread stands for the show kuch rang rather than for dev , sona or ishwari, thus nt creating any war zone knowingly or unknowingly . Very good . Keep it up ! ( I cudn read the whole thread but went thru the last few pages only )

I'm nt very good in analysing but i don mind stating my POVs .

Coming to episode , got some clarifications from Cvs bout the werbouts of dixit sisters though riya was nt mentioned. Neha in US with husband, nikky studying outside of delhi. I was jst thinking , wat if they show ranveer as neha's husband . After the separation from sona, dev has changed so there's a possibility that he can make changes in neha & convince ranveer . Ha ha very wild imagination but rehne doh..i luvd that pair..neha n ranveer .

Luvd the way dev showed anger wen vicky bad mouthed sona , taking mask of golu's presence . It's like i can say anything but don u dare . Chor mention i felt was aiming @ vicky, i might b wrong.

Ish aur halwa ! ohh God ..Noo ..nt again 😆 Ish ma did the cooking in the old way sitting in the ground. I think she's trying to bring bak the 8 yr old raaja betaa . Anywys i jst want ish maa to understand that the true happiness of dev always lies in, around & with sona .

Btw, sona cudn contact her collegues but can't she use any helpline numbers or @ least a pizza delivery or stuff like that. is that also against "game rule " with dev ? Ooopss... fire.. drama.. TRP.. Cvs..show business ..sab kuch maaf !! 😛

P.S. I'm a mom of 2 high school going boys . House wife but teacher by profession. Basically from Kerala but lives in Australia. U can call me dii as most of u guys , i'm sure ,will b younger than me 😃

Today Vicky was saved by Golu or you can Dev was saved by Golu...
Vicky said what he felt about Sona or was he testing Dev?

Dev knows what Vicky feels about Sona... and one saw his wrath.. but Golu's timing was a perfect cover up!

Dev was referring to Vicky as the chor.. that's why he said to Golu that this story is not for him to hear!!!

It made for an interesting episode still everyone playing at their games

The Bose Family playing truth or dare

Bijoy asking Suhana truth but what actually got my attention is the question he ask a 6 year old Tumhe apne Papa ki kami mehsoos hoti hai Kya aap apne Papa ko miss karte ho

Soha's answer that she misses her Papa, so wishes for him to be with them, wishes to see & talk to him daily had Bijoy getting worried.

But Soha's sush' s comparison & subsequent explanation eventually convinced & relieved him

but again the little girl says Main apne Papa se mili nahi, naahi unse baat ki, naa unhe dekha, sirf unke baare mein bad things suni hai

this statement clearly hints that in the Bose house Dev is name that is taken in front of Soha but in a bad way

Soha is only 6 years she should be treated this way only otherwise she too like her father would be effected not having a happy childhood

the Bose family know Dev as a husband and SIL but they don't know him as a father .Kids of that age are at an impressionable age where anything the elders say is easily imbibed & taken to be the gospel truth. Speaking ill of her father in her presence, especially considering how Sona seems cool about Soha eventually meeting Dev and then allowing her mind to be colored with one-sided views of the Bose family doesn't seem rational.

I did not ever expect them to sing praises of Dev but keeping a neutral view in front of Soha would have really helped her make up her mind better. No wonder she was fighting at school about Moms being better than Dads , I wonder if Bijoy hears this statement considering he too is a father how would he react will he just let it pass because its about Soha's father .

Bijoy has been treating Sona as a teenager not as grown woman its only when he visited her office he realized she is able to fend for herself but I have this feeling he is already treating Soha as an adult .

Last night's episode clarified few more things :

1) Neha has re-married a Mariner and is settled in the US. The writers have tried to close that loop though I had several questions on her behaviour. She chose Ranveer and couldn't adjust so decided to divorce him. So, is she happy now? After seven years, is Neha's character going to come back to Dixit house?

2) Nikki is studying in the US. Is she expected to join the cast around Holi?

3) Cuisine and food brings families together. That's why the saying "A family that eats together stays together." Ishwari holds cooking very close to her heart and its her way of expressing her joy. She goes back to "besan ka halwa" and appears confident that Dev would relish the same. Will he?

4) Suhana plays the game of Truth or Dare with her grandparents and lies that she is not missing her father when she sees Bijoy's expression. Earlier, she says another "chotu lie" to Sonakshi that she is going to sleep. Would this be the beginning of a child understanding the meaning of "when to lie" and "how to lie". If she finds out that Dev is her father, would she meet him on the sly and lie to Sonakshi and Bijoy-Asha too? Bijoy-Asha appear to be encouraging it. Golu, on the other hand tells all, as it is, to Dev.

5) Vicky insults Sonakshi. Questions her character. Dev reprimamds him. Why? Because Golu is standing right there? Obviously not. He has a lot of admiration for Sonakshi which he choses not to display.

6) Sonakshi gets her hand on some files. She browses through some papers and realises there is a scam. 👏So smart, I say. Amazing intellect in 7 years! I was amused. Dev had tried to warn her about the same "snooping around" habit. She loved to do that before too - (Riya case). Here, it may work as a boon for Dev as he realises and gets proof of Vickys dubious activities.

Sonakshi is going to walk away with a new lock on the office door, owning the keys, while Dev waits for her call. Amazing irony. I loved it. I was happy that Sonakshi decided not to lodge a complaint. 👏 Interesting episode tonight.

I also liked Vicky today more than Dev. (the actors) Vicky looked more handsome in his clean shaven avatar. 😉
