the last scene (24th jan) was beautiful simply awesome...the little boy asking his big cha whether he is in pain...as the 35 yr old man tries to deny it the little boy cuts him off to say its ur eyes...

i wonder wat was the relationship between dev and ishwari...is the act of giving birth so divine that nothing else counts...just because ishwari gave birth to dev...brought him up in adverse conditions does that mean they share a relationship that rescinds all boundaries...

this little boy golu did not even hv to stare into dev's eyes for even one minute to see the pain in those eyes...and dev has been a devoted son to ishwari all his life but she cud never read the pain the agony the helplessness and the loneliness in his eyes ever...in front of her eyes dev has walked around like a broken man during the first breakup with sona and now these 7 years he leads a carefree life but his eyes hv always been the honest mirror of his soul...

whether dev is smiling whether he is angry whether he is strong whether he appears not to care about anything his eyes only speak one word that he is lost and dead widout the love of his life...but ishwari can never read this simple truth in his eyes whereas golu cud read it as easily as we read an open book...

as the boy asks him whether he is in pain dev asks him why does he feel so...obviously dev cant imagine that he mr devrath dixit who is so expert in hiding pain that even his own mom cant read them in his eyes this little boy can so easily see them..."ur eyes big cha"...just these 4 words from golu and chachu falls in silence refusing to believe his strategy of hiding pain failed in front of this 6 yr old boy...

just a while back he so conveniently lied to ishwari wen she asked him if he is fine after ystrdy's event...he so calmly said he is fine and nothing affects him anymore...and ishwari even though she looked deeply into his eyes believed that and went away and dev relaxed that he has not been caught with the pain he so carefully hides behind his mask...but then golu made dev loss for words as he figured out the real dev behind the facade...

kudos to the team...relationship is not about how many years we spend together or how closely we r related...relationship is about having the ability to see and hear what the other person so cleanly tries to hide yet desires someone to see and hear it so that he can be himself without any pretense with at least one person in his life...

Beautiful Post

It seems that Golu knows Dev much better then Ishwari thinks she knows her son
Dev is himself with Golu no faade no make belief he is just his true self
and this is the same way he was with Sona

They say, God speaks through children. I guess He does!!! That makes me think if anyone can turn this MCP into a Feminist, that would be Soha when she stands up against his double standards.

i wud say it is ishwari's failure as a mother that her son cant be himself with her and she cant read his feelings widout him hving to explicit say in words...

Sure. Yes, I meant Dev. He has a tendency to blame everyone but himself. However, I have seen many men who are unable to see their own fault, realises their mistakes when their daughter says it.

When he sees Soha as an independent, smart, honest little girl, he will realise where he went wrong and why his marriage broke up or I hope he does.

well my post is completely about different topic...so i dont want to go into discussing about dev's double standards since i dont see him as that...

yes dev blames the two ladies in his life for his condition...as for ishwari there is no two thots that she has played her cards pretty well to ensure that there is no second lady in dev's life but lost in the part of remaining as the only lady in his life since dev has abandoned both...

as for sona dev blames her because he loves her...its more emotional outlook than a practical one...u know i cant live widout u still u left me alone...

i dont want to further go into this...since the separation hapnd there has been millions of discussion about whose fault...there is no end to this...

of couse dev's inability to stand for his wife is the main reason for this separation but since he has been brought up all his life by a skewed lady so i blame ishwari more than dev...

as of sona i dont blame her at all and about dev's approach toward her i already explained above...

Relationship are not bound by blood but by love . When he is all alone none of his family members for whom he dedicated his life came out to support him .

I think it goes both ways ..Golu a neglected kid found someone who loved him unconditionally and Dev a lonely soul got unadulterated and unconditional love from Golu.

Golu is someone with a pure heart so he could see his BigCha's sadness .I do feel Dev tolerates Vicky despite everything for Golu's sake

Aditi, beautiful post as usual. Sona was not only Dev's wife but they were best friends. When she left him and he pushed away his mother he was left with an emotional void because he had an emotional connection only with them. Golu filled that void. They both nurtures each other.
And it is not that Ishwari cannot see. Before she did not want to see because it was akin to admitting that her son needs Sona in his life or that she is important to him just like his family. Now she wants him to open up to her. He cuts her off emotionally. She can see and feel his facade and the way he puts on a show but even when she tries to connect with him he just shutdown. She can't get through to him. The irony of it. 😔 When he showed she looked the other way and now she wants him to show he pushes her away
