After seeing todays episode it reminded me the irony of Ishwari's dialogue" Without even looking back Sonakshi moved on while I'm still stuck in the same past to suffer ..." .

(First of all I'm not in Team Dev or Sona but I'm Team DevAkshi , still I am a bit partial towards Sona so if she does something beyond her character it really disappoints me . )

From what I have seen today not just Ishwari , but both Sona and Dev are trapped at the same spot with all the pain and anger . Dev who told Sona once , more than loving her he love that feeling of being in love , now cringes at the mere mention of love since it reminds him of the hurt it caused , and decides its time to end this relation as she brought up the mighty L word and ruthlessly threw her out . And Sonakshi - I still could not fathom that emotion on her face when she learned about the incident. She was intrigued by Dev's behavior at the same time there was a mild satisfaction. Here she could have handled this situation so sensibly while being empathetic to the girl , but she chose the opportunity to perfectly get back at him for what he did . Those words echoed her pain . anger , hurt . And oh my girl , moving on is the last thing you did 😆 . I said in one of my other post as well , there is reason for Bijoy's concern , even though he says he doesn't trust Dixit's , truth is he doesn't trust Sona around Dev. She could behave so irrationally around him and they both can get into each other's skin so easily and we have seen it today !!! Sona is trying to play the game which could only get her hurt . She is too honest and forthright to beat his shrewdness !!! Her arena is different , so she better change her game plan !!! Also she better accept the fact that she is not equal to Dev in business so instead of seeking the satisfaction of beating him , try to be content in her own achievement and success.

So much discussions are going on about casual relationships here , I don't know why it is so difficult to accept the fact that Sona and Dev are two adults who are separated and they have every right to have relationships , casual or serious . After the break-up he feels suffocated in his own house and Sona's words that he doesn't deserved to be loved and would be better off alone always haunted him , and he was seeking companionship in all these girls . Lets accept that !!! Because of Soha and from her past experience, its logical to think that Sona would be careful this time and would not let any other guy in her life , but it would be refreshing to see a sensible guy in Sona's life too . Since this is a story of Dev and Sona and it is highly probable that eventually they would end up together , I would be really happy if the makers are bold enough to show the reality and would not show them being celibate in all these years because either of them can't accept the other without the so called "purity". For me after all these "IF" thats a big if 😉 they find a way back to each other means their souls are destined to be together for better or worse !!!

The more I watch Sona-Soha scenes the more I feel Soha needs Dev as well in her life . As Sam said , I feel Sona is using her as means of validation of her own achievement . We know how headstrong Sona can be at times ,and here she is using Soha to prove Ishwari and Dev's words wrong by trying to be the perfect mother . She hated Dev's inability to take a stand of his own when it comes to his mother . And she wanted her kid to be independent and take her own decisions. When it comes to Dev evenif he was not very vocal about it , he hated that he lost his childhood ,that he had to be an adult at the age of 8 and had to see the harsh realities of life , which is exactly why Dev is trying to relive his childhood through Golu . When Sona present Soha with the choices of her own life decisions , she forgets that she is too young to burden with such choices ( I hate when she calls her Miss.Bose , give her a pet name Sona , she is a kid ) , likewise when Dev tries to give Golu the most luxurious happy childhood that he never had , he is least bothered that he should be a responsible guardian . So in a way I think Soha needs both Sona and Dev to bring the perfect balance in her life !!!

I am eager to find out what is Ishwari's justification this time for ignoring her other kids , in the past she justified it with their poverty and hardships . Whats it gonna be this time ? Knowing Ishwari , I have a clue it starts with "S" n ends with "I" 😉

To all Dev haters : I have seen lots of posts questioning how we can have a male lead like this .I am wondering what are we really expecting from a male lead . Dev was never a typical hero , we have seen several occasions which questions his morality , whether it is about removing Sona from her job , or asking a guy to leave his family and have a wedlock without kids for Neha , or cutting Rithwik's finances, list goes on ... He was a kid who had seen his mother holding onto a knife in an attempt to drive away the vultures who were after her and made it his life dream to get his family out of the misery and all his life he lived only for his family . Nothing else ever mattered and he had zero emotional connect with anyone till Sona came along . So how can we expect this guy to behave as our so called "typical" ML ? Whereas Sona was brought up in a happy go lucky environment . She was the first one to make him think about his own happiness and she changed him for better . Dev only had emotional connect with Ishwari and Sona . Now after the break up , both of them are not there for him , one he lost and one he distanced himself from. He is now a lost bleeding soul who is wandering in the darkness . And after seeing pre-cap I'm sure Sona had only unleashed his demons and we are yet to see this wilder side of Dev more . I have seen posts constantly bashing this character , its funny that they reached to the point of thinking about the ways of punishing/seeking revenge from him , but for whom for a fictional character ??? Writing has so much power that we are unaware of , why do we infest our souls by constantly bringing this negativity to ourself , as Sabitha said its just a fictional show , if this was the story of "Vilena" it might have been a story about an evil person in an attempt to seek revenge falling in love with the enemy !!! It all depends on whose story they are telling and I think its high time we move beyond the convictions of "hero" standards!!! We can either waste our energy by continuing these bashing's or get our popcorn bucket and enjoy this ride because I don't think makers have any intention to change this Dev anytime soon !!!! 😉

Lovely balanced post! Dev is & always been a very complex man. Going by some of the posts today such complex men would not be even married. Of course we have the biggest example of a douche bag -Trump.

The problem for dev is there is nobody to take him & counsel him. He's in a dark spiral.

I also feel there is a touch of ish in sona as far as parenting goes. She might keep telling her to be independent but sona needs constant validation from her. Is soha too mature for her age? Comparing her to golu yes she is. Is this an indication of bad parenting -no. But at 6 she has to process way more information than necessary. Hopefully with dev in the picture her childhood will be more carefree.
