Well I do have a slightly different take on Dev's "infidelity" ,

I wouldn't have any problem with Dev having casual flings and ONS with multiple girls , keep girlfriends and have physical intimacy with them , since he's divorced and owes no loyalty to any one.

However the hypocrisy by certain people absolutely stuns me , that they find Dev's behavior acceptable whence they raised a huge hue and cry over Sona trying to move on with Ritwik , I mean nothing could make it more glaringly obvious that people in our society have different sets of rules applicable when it comes to physicality and relationship aspects of men vs. women.

Would they have found it so acceptable if Sona was shown having such casual flings with different guys.

Also the makers disgust me with their puke worthy mentality . If they can show Dev having flings with girls why don't they have the guts to show Sona having the same ?? The FL must remain "Pure" and reserved for the touch of the ML only whereas the ML can go around doing hanky panky and viewers supposed to find it okay !! Woww ! It makes me question my decision of watching Indian soaps at all. At least Western shows do not show such duplicity and hypocrisy.

No. Dev didn't perform tonight. He was busy thinking about Sonakshi. But he doesn't meet with a girl in a hotel room for casual relationship and just play snakes and ladders. But you never know, CVs might come up with that excuse to whitewash Dev's character.

However, he didn't cheat Sonakshi. He was an asshat, yes. He cheated the girl he was with when he was thinking of Sonakshi when he is with her.

Cheating current girlfriend and harassing ex-wife - What an incredible man.

Great one Tia!!

I loved Bijoy Asha convo.

Dont want to waste my time on Ishwari. Dev got his traits from her.

Bijoy Bose...seriously , he is the only one from whom I can hope something...he'll always protect Sona, speak up for her ...no matter what.

As for Dev, he is not actually interested in having any serious relationships...it was shown how when he entered the room, he shrugged off the girl conveniently when done with his play acting. He is clearly still affected by Sona and is trying to hurt her. He loves her ...I'm sure of that...not the way we prefer to love...his is weird kind of love which will always hurt Sona. His love for her is only destructive. Another shade of love...Kuch rang pyaar ke aise bhi.

As for Sona, I am sooo proud of her. She was only disgusted and surprised. But the effect was less on her thanks to Soha.

Waiting for Monday..

Its mandatory for female lead to remain pure and deprived of any sexual needs .Another aspect where indian television failed🤢 like females ki koi needs hi nahi hoti.double standard everywhere.

Great post as usual Tia.But they are not divorced Tia,they signed prenup not divorce and I dont think they have had any interactions after that night.

Coming to the episode-I feel its brave to show a male lead having casual sex-have to applaud when they show something progressive.

But watching Ish is a pain,that woman is delusion personified.

There were many times such that in the show made me feel " At this point , I couldn't imagine Sonakshi going back to Dev. " but now I'd say " At no point I could see her going back to him. Nope it won't be acceptable for me and for any self-respecting viewer. " It'll be a super regression of Sonakshi's character arc if she , not at this point , but ever considers going back to Dev as a partner . Does she not know the kind of life he's led during these 7 yrs ?? I know in the past she was totally blind in Dev's love and was suitably dumbed down so that whatever we found unacceptable in Dev she ignored and overlooked and hence ultimately fell flat on her face.

But now , after all this years , after building up and running a business for 7 years , standing tall and proud on feet and multitasking as a single mom , ideal daughter , grand daughter and sister , if she melts ( I don't care how or by whatever reason ) and goes back to a man who easily humiliates her publicly and later sends her a taunting note while throwing back the trophy to her , which leaves no qualms regarding his sadistic intentions to put her down and insult her , not even an attempt to decency and who's flying from one flower to another drinking honey , then I'd say it will Not only be absolutely ridiculous but completely forced.

I was so very irritated when Sona was standing there like an idiot staring at the closed door of Dev's suite , I was like have some self-respect woman , it's free ! But then was glad how cool she was once inside the room as if nothing happened and even smiled mockingly when the house keeping man said Dev has ordered not to disturb them. Plus I loved how she adamently refused to click photos with the trophy as if it has got dirty due to being in Dev's hand and how she returned it !
