I was thinking the same with Dev's nonsense ramblings that Sona was behind his money when the whole fiasco started because she was returning the money. This is how they are going to make Sona and Dev reunite otherwise there is no point in reuniting them. I remember Rekha's movie Khoon Bhari Maang where the heroine comes back successful and prettier after a plastic surgery but the hero ( kabir bedi) is a real villain so there is no reconcilliation between the two.

Here Dev is made to say all those things so that they can redeem his character post leap.

Do i agree with this type of thinking : no but this is financial decision by channel and PH after they saw that people like Sharica chemistry and were getting bored of the saas bahu drama.

the above 2 lines r sooo TRUE!!!!!!

Everybody did mistakes...they were right and wrong depending on the situations...

But just one point...How to trust someone who has never really stood up for you...Who broke up with u at the first sight of problem...Who has lied to you so many times

But then yeah...How could Sona trust Vicky too

It's so confusing...I guess both have made mistakes but Dev's share of mistake as well as love was more than that of Sona.

The article doesn't even make sense.

It says Sona didn't trust Dev and believed someone else, when ? When Ranveer's bhabhi informed Dixits what Dev did to them, Sona disbelieved them and said Dev cannot do it. Dev proved her wrong. When Dev told her he folded the hanky and arranged his cupboard, Sona believed him and he proved her wrong. When Dev told Sona that she is pregnant, Sona believed him and he proved her wrong. Dev broke up with Sona in a second, Sona believed in the SAME Dev again and married him. but he proved her wrong. Every single time Dev lied/cheated on her belief. Blame Sona for finally opening her eyes and read through his mind. It's a typical story of the boy crying wolf, has nothing to do with how Sona interpreted it.

Every single point on why Sona was also 'equally' responsible for this break-up is nothing but a pile of bullshit. 🤢 Dev and ONLY Dev was the reason for breakup, not even Ishwari. Yes, I do hold Sona responsible though for letting Ishwari interfere SO much on their space and not standing up for her honour and self-respect MUCH earlier to this.

With a pathetic loser like Dev, divorce was bound to happen. 🥱

I have a question, everyone seems to be saying that Dev said nasty things to Sona in order to help her move on, but did she really need help to move on?

In the first break up, Sona was taking steps to move on, and she would have had Dev not started stalking her ... She actually sped up the engagement to prove to Dev that she was over him right? I'm not justifying what she did was right, but he was the one who couldn't let go not her. If Dev hadn't interfered with her and Ritwick, Sona would probably have never crossed his path again right?

I mean Dev could have just said leave like he did the first time and then left it up to Sona to do whatever to move on. She wouldn't have killed herself because she still needed to pay back the loan so he must have known that the loan alone would drive her to survive the breakup.

Were the insults necessary? The CVs seem hell bent on ensuring that there not be even a shred on which to redeem Dev. How do you redeem an ML that insults and manhandles the FL for no real/logical reason?

Yes thanks I thought I was the only one. The divorce or separation is courtesy to Mr Dev Dixit. Sona may be blamed for hasty marriage knowing well n truely Dev extend of devotion to Ishwari . Frankly no girl can go back to such a jerk. But commercial plot their story to tell so no argument.

Sona once bitten twice shy gave her best shot. U can't expect ur wife to understand ur pov when u slap her father intentional or unintentional.

I think if she had stood up for her self respect , Dev Dixit would have shown her the door earlier.Sona was his obsession which he let go when it was compare with his love n devotion. Hypocrit made mockery of her feeling to avoid confrontation with his ma. What is this alcohol Everytime he dumps her blames her and is seen with a bottle. Grow up Mr Dixit just grow up. You do not become a rebel or help ur lover by becoming a Casanova. There r pretty well tested ways.

I know you are not a big fan of Dev but I wanted to just point out that when a marriage fails like in the case of Dev and Sona both were in some ways responsible. The biggest and gravest error of judgment that they made was that they never analysed the reasons for the breakup the first time around. If they had introspected, they probably wouldnt have allowed Ishwari (and GKB etc) to come between them.

Sona and Dev were both aware that Ishwari didnt accept Sona with an open heart. Sona shouldnt have tried so hard and so much to please Ishwari. She herself gave so much importance to Ishwari. Dev should have stood up vocally for his wife but he didnt. Sona, was never vocal about her equation with Ishwari.

The divorce/separation was very much required for both Dev and Sona to evaluate their importance in each others lives - whether they really need each other as much as earlier.
