Hi, Its good to hear your views after long time. And a very Happy New Year to you as well.

Till Monday I was fine with everything, even Ishwari. She didn't knew the truth so she was talking nonsense to Sona and Dev. But her yesterday's conversation with Dev was pathetic. The way she was referring to Sona as "Woh ladki" repeatedly was disgusting. But if we think deeply, then she never accepted Sona, so loving her was not an option. It was her son who is in love with sona and she is insecure of it. Sona was always a toy for Ishwari and her yesterday's dialogues proved it. So, I am not surprised with her, on the contrary she is back to her old self and this time vocal.

Sona has got so many shocks in two days and I am seeing her coming around. And Dev needs a big jhatka to do something. And he will get it soon, either bcz of his mom or wife.

Hi again!!! How are you doing??

I think the Jhatka should come sooner than later. Else viewer patience will wear off, TRP will fall and show will wind up in a hurry leaving a bad taste in everyone's mind

And who do they have to bring to redeem Dev?? More to the point - can he even be redeemed??

I am glad about a couple of things, Ishwari is vocal, Dev openly told her he loves Sona a lot and Sona doesn't believe/ trust Dev/Ishwari.

While Ishwari questions Sona about giving her a warris, Sona openly questioning Ishwari about her position in that family will have two outcomes

1. Ishwari won't answer and will try to brush the issue aside. Hopefully Dev is not blind or deaf to it.
2. The more Ishwari tries to avoid the answer, Sona also doesn't have to answer her. Though she is ready.

But would Sona avoid answering is the big question

This is not stupid or insane.. In some cases it is reality. For an entirely different reason my MIL too has uttered the very same bitter words. Cannot forget --- nor forgive but can move on .
Ironically I do not have a dev in my life either...

Was Dev really not concerned about Sonakshi ?I don't think so . Seeing the episode again I have a different view .His focus was on bringing Ishwari home as being a son he was tensed about his mom's Natak .That lady can hurt herself if needed and can go to any extent .I won't blame him for getting all worked up .

She is in a temple. He can sit in front of her and say - I won't go unless you come home with me. Stay till evening. He himself has said he is ziddi. So why not show the zidd to the mother. Why wife, to whom he has already lied and who is already in shock and pain?? Does he think his mother's sense of betrayal / pain is more than Sonakshi's?? Then he is dumber than I think.

If Ishwari had suggested something unreasonable like remarriage or divorce it would be the real test for Dev .Here it was about getting medical help and if you see without having any predetermined hate for any character it doesn't seem wrong .In real life will parents suggest their kids to go through infertility treatment once to see if they can have their own kid .No one will suggest it's painful forget it .Atleast older generation won't think in that way .

A day after the truth is revealed?? Seriously?? How long have these two been married?? Five years?? Ten years?? No one is denying that Sonakshi should get the treatment. BUT it should be because it's what SHE wants. NOT because Ishwari wants a waaris or Dev has lied or whatever other reason. It is Sonakshi's body. No one should demand that kind of promise from her. It should be her choice. Or rather it should be THEIR choice. Sona and Dev's. Ishwari can say - will you promise to talk to your wife and try to fulfil my wish? / will you promise to try to convince your wife. She can't say - MAKE that 7% into 100% and show me.

Regarding the scene at home .Yes Dev was little insensitive and impatient as his focus was to being Ish home .Isn't it how men react ?They wish to solve the problem at first .Dev being Dev did not think far about success or failure of treatment as in his mind it's clear that he won't leave Sona no matter what .If he really wanted to leave her he would not have married her in first place .If you see the old episodes where he knows about infertility he imagines Sona's and his mom's reaction .Even in his imagination he knows he mom won't approve of his decision and won't be happy with him yet he chooses Sona over his mom .

Again... like I said above...he had other options of solving that problem. He just chose this one because it's what his maa DEMANDED. Yes, he thinks like a typical man. But here sensitivity towards the woman you claim to love is definitely called for.

When he said he doesn't want kids .He meant it and if there is a slight chance it's not wrong to explore that option .Irrespective of the outcome of the treatment Dev will stand up his decision and will support his wife .I have faith in him .

Maybe I am in minority like always .

As long as he sees God in his mom and takes her word as Gospel, I don't trust him as far as I can throw him - which isn't far at all. 😆

Ishwari's insecurities and her need for a constant vocal and actual affirmation from her son that she is the only one who matters is partly responsible for this. People like that exist. However, the way in which she spoke to Sonakshi (even if sonakshi made her son lie - he is an adult for God's sake!) and the way she referred to her son's wife in front of her son is cruel. Women like that exist. Sadly, Bijoy has also started all that.
As for Dev, I have said this in other posts too.. his mother does not keep well. She is capable of doing any amount of damage and we have seen him solve only momentary problems.

Like Sonakshi said - His decisions are hurtful but the reason behind them can be understood

What can I even say about the episode it was so cringe worthy... Ishwari and her son are majorly flawed people for whatever reasons, I just wish the makers stop defending their acts and bring it to a point where it is admitted that these two were plain WRONG...

Hey buddy... great to see you too!! A very happy new year!!

I have no issues with being flawed. In fact I don't like perfections. But if there is no character growth, it gets tiring and grates on my nerves after a point. Prime reason why I stay away from Indian TV shows. Made the mistake thrice so far and ended up 😆

And they have absolutely forgotten Sonakshi...im seeing it thinking all the drama has not given time and space to accept and then express her grief...but it's important to have a sonakshi pov scene at this moment...

Exactly. All this drama could wait a day. One episode. 20 minutes of Sonakshi's POV and we would have probably taken all this crap.

Amongst all this I do feel there will be mil and husband's who could react like dis but those can't be ur heroes...

Agreed.

I also feel like something is gonna happen to bijoy...he has also gone crazy worrying about his daughter...

That's all we need. More drama!. And if something happens to Bijoy after the thappad scene...Sonakshi will never forgive Dev. She better NOT forgive Dev.

Good to see your post. I still remember your post - Dev's letter to Ishwari "Agar tujhe koi aitraaz na ho toh"😊

Oh thank you. 😃

So glad you remember me and my post. Guess this post is the polar opposite of that one!! 😆
