Maybe tomm we wud see Dev apologising to Sona abt it n Sona wud understand n all forgiven n forgotten again.

Dev has to shutup people like Gkb again n again. How can he let Gkb insult Sona when it was all his mistake. He knows if he shouts...Gkb wud stop d rant atleast for sometime.

Some people on twitter did point out tht they got award in same dress as night sceme n sbs segment of temple scene was shot before tht but nothing confirmed as we dnt know for sure when these segments are shot exactly.

We are used to Dev breaking his promises to Sona...but this morning, it felt completely off to me...especially due to the tears dialogue.

Frankly it shows lack of trust they have in their story.

Also i dont know whether it's me only but when dev had planned doing treatment without sona's consent .that episode aired on friday .fans also started uproar about this. and on monday suddenly we have scene about how doctor refused to do any treatment .😕 sab locha hain

Yes, they keep switching it up pretty regularly and lengthening and shortening tracks based on popularity...Dadibua track was also done away abruptly due to fandom protest and so was Ishwari trying to physically seperate Devakshi.

I think lack of trust in their story stems from the fact that they keep going in circles to show Ishwari's insecurities, her demands and Dev's willingness to do anything for her at Sona's expense. The only new thing in the recent past has been Sona following Dev's zombies in trying to please Ishwari...and frankly, that made the show more unbearable...to not just me I am guessing.

We maybe right...we maybe wrong...but the fact remains that the CVs continue to play with Dev's characterization and weaken him on a regular basis. To me that is unacceptable.

I believe good writing does not sacrifice characterization and character growth for drama.

The makers should therefore understand that a sensible communicative Devakshi can make a huge difference to the storyline rather than shoving Ishwari's redundant take on family and relationships down our throats.

But no...we are back on the terrible path and I for one am rooting for a quick separation, divorce drama that will reveal the prenup. And if Dev still stands by his mother...then he deserves to live happily Unhappily ever after with his mother...the woman she chooses as the mother of his child and who knows a bundle of children Ishwari craves 😆

But if v look into Dev's character, his reaction to Sona was very consistent with it. He loves Sonakshi, he cannot see her in pain but when his mother is in truble same Sona bcums a means of his mother's pain.

This is what he did at the time of breakup and same he did yest.

It is really sad there no growth at all in Dev's character. It is sign of impending doom

This is the most frustrating part.

In life, people learn from their biggest mistakes and Dev's biggest mistake proved to be letting Sona go for his mother and we along with him saw the consequences of his decision.

Dev is a man who worships his mother but is he a foolish man? I don't believe so. Why then do the CVs want us to believe that Dev has forgotten what happens when he pushes over Sonakshi for his mother. Why do CVs want us to think Dev does not comprehend the consequences of his actions where ultimately Sonakshi may leave?

This is where I am not convinced or comfortable watching Dev as a man who took no lessons from his past mistakes.

Tell you one more thing. On Friday when sona woke up, her mangalsutra was missing. It may have been an after thought

Did you watch the two? Do you think they scene was always there or was added to give Devakshi screen space for the sake of audience?

I completely agree with you on your observation. The interesting part is this is not the first time they came up with this kind of patch scenes, they inserted these kind of scenes to pacify viewers disappointments so many times before. For ex, Dev-Sona's convo after asha asking "Yeh meri Shona hai?" as part of Ishwari's Chulha drama, Sona-Ish confrontation after break-up, Ish-Bijoy confrontation after break-up, Dev-Ish confrontation about Ritwik's alliance sent by Ish, etc. All these convo's were added just to please viewers and to bring down their fire & disappointments. If we observe these conversations, They were very powerful ones to change the story direction but that never happened and we never saw their impact in the next scene. Basically all characters were back to square one after these powerful conversations as if like nothing happened in the previous scene.😆

IKR!!! I was most annoyed when I realized that the beautiful Devakshi scene was an insert. And I agree...all the scenes you mentioned lead to no change in story track.

The biggest problem for me today is that...the show that began as a contemporary tale of a modern couple and the acceptances of their love by the mother...has now become a typical Indian tele potboiler with kitchen politics, multiple separations (the second seems most probable now), talk of divorce, remmairge...etc etc and all this while the couple is madly in love with each other and all this within months of marraige. Such is television I guess. Should have known better to expect more from the plot.

And the bigger problem is that I personally haven't seen/read of a protagonist whose character sees zero growth like in the case of Dev.

Anywho...taking a break on and off from the show has been my answer to my frustrations and I guess that will continue for the foreseeable future

I can't make up my mind. The way Dev told his mother he loves sona a lot, makes me think he is changing or rather beginning to see life beyond the current moment. Having said that, I have to admit the night scene was perfect but the morning was a bit off. Can't put my finger on it.

And yes I caved in and watched the episode
