I have a very strong hunch that the scene between Dev and Sona (in red nightdress) was shot to pacify us, the viewers and it was shot after Erica returned from Xmas break while the rest of the scenes were canned before she left. When the fandom blew up on Sona's reaction to non-pregnancy and infertility news wherein she was completely obsessed with Ishwari's feelings and reactions rather than what a would-be mother would feel or a woman who can never have a child feels, the makers decided to rectify some damage but in the larger picture...how can the one scene salvage bad writing? How can a bandaid stem gushing blood from a deep wound?

So, that beautiful scene between Devakshi was an afterthought and hence the disconnect between what Dev says to Sona the night before and Dev does this morning where Ma-Bhakt Dev is only concerned for his mother and has no time for Sona's tears...

Therefore, I have a question for CVs...do Sona's tears really hurt Dev or was that scene/dialogue meant to pacify the fandom? If he meant it...why the inconsistency in Dev? This is such poor writing. Or has someone amongst you (CVs) ever met a man who simply never ever means anything he says even in the direst of situations?

I guess, I should be really thankful that I know no such people like Dev in real life.

P.S - I came to the conclusion because segments with Erica in white/Yellow dress and the temple segments with Erica were released pre-chirtsmas. But her red dress shoot clearly took place on the same day they received Best Jodi award and it was few days after christmas and by then the infertility episodes began airing and the feedback was bad due to Sona's obvious emotional disconnect with the baby and her only mantra was about her relationship with Ishwari.

Agree with you... felt the same... I mentioned this in another thread that friday's devakshi scenes looks like a dream scene, as Dev today was rude and insensitive towards Sonakshi.😡

Also, Saurabh suddenly mentioning about the 5 crore help by Dev is a big let down by the CVs. Sonakshi and Saurabh had started this online business to prove themselves that they can achieve success without any one's help or influence. But what happened to the CVs suddenly? At least here we didn't wanted Dev's interference or help.😡 This was just to prove to Bijoy that Dev is a true gentleman??

But, after watching today's episode, Boses' self respect is hurt, so, I want Saurabh to return the money to Dev. They can't live with this burden. Dev is not a gentleman anymore...😡

Romance in closed doors means nothing when the man is not man enough to save her from the outside world cruelty.

Dev is the sissiest character ever. And literally.

There is diff -- it is not an after thought to pacify us.. it is just to show that dev always gets carried away when his mother is in pic... cvs know what they r doing...

So far, dev has always broken the promises he made to sona to keep his promises to ishwari.. so now we need to see if history repeats or dev will actually do something about it...

Just imagine... he just told sona that they r enugh for each other and they dont need a baby... now what will he tell her after coming back from temple... will his stand change .. now that his mom asked to make that jhoot sach.:. Will he push sona into treatments - will he announce it to her that they need to make a baby now or will they have a matured discussion and decide the course of action... that is what interests me .:: something tells me he is going to piss sona and bijoy offf to an extent of severe damage ..: wait and watch

Also this also always happens that when it comes to ishwari dev tends to forget everything and everyone even right and wrong. So CVS figured that they will go in the same flow. But biggest question is when will it change????? And will it????

I also feel that the Devakshi scene was shot after the fandom pointed out.

But if v look into Dev's character, his reaction to Sona was very consistent with it. He loves Sonakshi, he cannot see her in pain but when his mother is in truble same Sona bcums a means of his mother's pain.

This is what he did at the time of breakup and same he did yest.

It is really sad there no growth at all in Dev's character. It is sign of impending doom
