Author's Note

the story begins from the time that dev and his team are already working on a project so don't be confused it just happens to begin from there!!

CHAPTER -1

DEV's POV

"yeh toh pure nahi hai!!" i said, as i handed the packet to the dealer... this was my job...

"arey tu kya naya aaya hai market mein??.. isse zyada pure nahi milega..." he spat at me.

I controlled my temper "delivery kab milegi??" i asked him...

"jab tu paisa dega" he said laughing a dry laugh...

"aadha abhi aadha dilevery ke baad " i threw him a bundle of cash, he sniffed it, and that reminded me of the workings of a dog... that was what he was.. worse, he was worse than a dog... i had to keep myself in check, because i was afraid one step and my facade would wither away... i exchanged glances with my partner in crime Vikrant, he just nodded, and we placed a tissue paper, that had the rest of the details of the transaction... i saw him pick it up, and i smiled, that was it the fish was in the net!! Signalling the success of the first part of our plan vikrant and I took my leave!!

Walking out of the room we were hit by the blazing music that bellowed on the upper landing as we stopped in the security check to grab our guns and ammunition that we had to leave before we stepped in to crack a deal with that son of a b*tch... i caught a glimpse, a reflection, of what i had become... i wore a sleeveless cloth that had a deep neckline, revealed most of my torso which was marred with scars and covered with a big tattoo, that signified infinity though it was a fake it still made me look rugged!! Suited my cover!!This was accompanied by high ankle shoes and a pair of denims that fit my legs!! I was a good 6 feet tall, with ripped muscles, a much needed necessity in my profession!! "randhawa ko msg kr do ki maine uska dia hua device install kr dia hai!!" i told vik as we moved into the blazing music!! What people called music seemed like cable cars crashing and egg shells cracking!! I hated it...

"randhawa keh raha hai uska kaam ho jaega" vik updated me on the scenario!!

I just nodded and started looking for an exit when i spotted one... again i was reminded of how i ended up here!!

2 months ago, when the DGP had called me into his office his instructions had been very clear.. we have to eliminate the drug network that predominated the heart of Chandigarh, so far we had been successful in eliminating a cartel and this time we were engaged to finish the major contender of the market.. so this time, it was my turn to don on the guy who pretended to be interested in the trade, only to find out the workings of the system, and to eliminate them when they least expected it!!! I was asked to assemble a team, we were a small unit but that was the closest i had to a family!! I was rich, an orphan, yeah sounds strange even to me!! My parents were rich and they died in a car crash when i was 3, since then i had been living with my grandmother, who died as soon as she figured i had successfully become an SP and, instead of going the standard way i had detoured and picked up the special law enforcement department, and since then my only constant were guns and gun shots!! "take the first right" came a slightly distorted voice through the intercom, that was randhawa... Ranveer Randhawa... my techie, my team consisted of three men and a women i had handpicked them for the mission Vikrant Chaudarey, reason best known to me... he was my brother or my brother from another mother!! And ofcourse not to forget Ria, my sort of sister... she was the lab genius, a bio chemic by profession, who had taken to testing the drug samples we would collect and send her, also she was a part of the forensic department so dead bodies preoccupied her most of the time!! But, she was always ready to help me no matter what!! Even when her powerful fianc tried to stop her from standing next to me!! He was the head of the department and ria worked under him... ayaan, though he was a great friend, where ria was concerned our friendship always bit the dust!! He thought i was having a secret affair with her!! Gosh!!Took me a long time to convince him otherwise, but then again he is a friend!! "now take the left" the intercom cracked again!! We followed his instructions only to end up on the back side of the bar where the meeting was supposed to take place!!

"kya hai yeh" i asked, vik cussing under his breath.. i twisted my lips the onlookers always thought this was how i smiled but...

"han toh sunn lo na" the intercom crackled, the speaker tired of the constant bickering!! "right lo or seedha jao... pub ki entrance aajaegi.. ab gadi kahan park ki hai yeh bhi mai bataun?"

that was it, vik started his string of profanities.. Sometimes, it was difficult to stay with them "shut up" i said my voice ringing with authority... they both were quite, we had taken two different mode of movement because we were coming from different location- according to the dealers- we were meeting with!! When i reached the entrance of the pub i bumped into something or rather someone!! And i turned to see a pair of brilliant big brown orbs starting at me...

hi guys this is the first chapter of the story!! the first two chapters are small.. so bear with me!! but anyways this will give you the rough idea of how things will be, and how the story will progress and what is it all about... hope you guys love it and feel free to drop in your views!!
