So I caved in and watched the episode. What a beauty to the eyes and to my drama seeking self. What a bold start to the year.

I wont be very popular for saying this.. today was a prelude to a lot of stuff in coming days. We got to wait and watch. Having said that, everything that happened was predicted by most of us in the last few days. There is no other way for the story to develop. Ishwari holds Dev in this cage and he cannot set himself free ever. I am not even thinking about the precap here.

Did you guys notice that today all the key characters got screen space. I could be wrong, but in coming episodes we will see less and less of Neha, Saurabh and mamaji and rest of the folks. I don't miss Mamaji but I am saddened by the fact that Neha and Saurabh dada will have little role to play

It also became very apparent why Vicky-elena wedding took place. It doesn't have much to do with Vicky's improvements. Its got to do with having Elena under the same roof as Sona. Sona will need a Bose to support her through the carnage that awaits.

The show continues to revolve around Ishwari. Its all about her. Much to my annoyance. The venom she spews in a Shiv mandir. How much poison will Lord Shiva consume?

While it seems like Sonakshi is crying in her MIL's pain, watch carefully. She is grieving her baby and things get worse when the newest achievement of her life accuses her of worse and when she comes to take shelter under the very tree that promised her lifelong shade, she is accused of carelessness. THAT is what she is grieving. The look she gave mamiji today was amazing. (Its funny how mamiji mirrored Vicky's dialogue of doing drama when no one is watching). Someone had commented a few days ago that how would things change had Sonakshi known of her condition before her marriage. Today.. Today would have been different. Sonakshi would have made an informed decision regarding her marriage. It doesn't matter Dev wants babies or not. Sonakshi didn't just marry Dev. She married into Dev's family and to her, bearing their 'waris' is important. I am not going to judge her on her decision of first focusing on Dev's family and then on Dev. The point is, she didn't walk into this with all the information she had the right to. Dev acknowledges his mistakes in a temple in front of his God. He uses the word 'dhokha'. Lies and deception are very different things. He acknowledges that not only did he lie; he also deceived Sona, his mother and Sona's family. For once he puts everyone on the same pedestal. He acknowledges that 'yes I lied. I lied to be able to marry'

Bijoy-Dev face off - I am glad it happened. Knowing Dev, he will apologise. Asha will facilitate the conversation and all will be well. I doubt we will see much on this. Sadly

The way Vicky has been talking mamiji to task; I don't think their house burning down secret will remain a secret for too long.

Everyone's acting was superb. Today was Erica's day.

Sona should turn into elena and just adopt a dont care attitude .. let dev manage the family's expectations. Sona should live her life with out all this dixit bullshit.. if riya wants to marry aayan ... let her .. no need to think about dixits anymore.. they don't deserve it... i am sure bijoy is not just going to leave this matter... i hope he keeps checking on sona and take her away if she is not able to take the big step herself.

Too early to comment and start looking for options. The precap hasn't been conclusive on what Ishwari would ask from Dev, thou he caved in and said that 'anything is acceptable.' I wasn't surprised at Dev's behaviour. His intention was to bring his mother home and that's why pleading and begging was the only option, as his mother is just as stubborn as he is. The audience has seen it all before.

I liked Vicky the most yesterday. His behavioural change is there for all to see. The fact that he actually missed Mamaji is a sign of things to come. Dev's outburst on Bijoy was in a moment of stress. He is sure to feel guilty about it later. But, Bijoy understands Ishwari like no one else. 😃 Two amazing actors playing two brilliant characters of Ishwari and Bijoy. Poles apart, yet they light the scene with their presence and dialogues.

What is Ishwari going to demand from Dev? I don't want the usual -'doosri shaadi'? I don't want her to put a timeline either, but she might!! And Dev-Sonakshi would listen and obey? Possibility is high. Sonakshi is heartbroken, but doesn't seem likely to leave the Dixit household. It's not her fault that Dev lied and Ishwari believes that her son can do no wrong. She has invested in this relationship, so separation would not help her either. It's too early to give up. Would she stay back and set the situation right? Even if she chooses to separate from Dev, what would her life revolve around? Her work? Would she be happy? Highly unlikely!

The comical situation was GKB looking at Elena expectantly for a 'ghar ka chiraag'? What a comedy of errors? 😃

I am sure Sonakshi has now realized her place in the Dixit household. Ishwari fussed over her because she was pregnant. The moment she realizes Sonakshi is not pregnant, she changes her colours. Like I mentioned in the other post, Sonakshi was always unwanted in the house to begin with and now she will be loathed if she continues to stay there. And Dev not standing up for her when she is abused will not help things either.
