I was thinking of making this post a few days later but then couldn't stop myself.
I really really love the show. And I am always very hurt whenever people criticise it. Specially for one episode.
See this is not a book. We can't just turn the pages and get our questions or anxieties answered. For that we have to wait a day or two. I just don't know why everytime something different happens than what we thought that people raise cries of disappointment and saving the show. Despite the show everytime living up to our expectations just like today... We still doubt in a heartbeat.
I couldn't say this yesterday because it would seem that I was justifying the CVs and people weren't in the right mind to understand.
But yesterday's scene was very normal if u think. At least I can say all stories fanfictions of stories I have read... This was the initial reaction. Sona yesterday was in shock. More so because the truth had been hid by her. She needed to deal with it first.. Herself. She needed her space. Yesterday she said mera baby kabhi nahi ayega? Then she wasn't in the mind of thinking if dev or what he had done. Didn't u see everytime dev went to console her she jerked away. Don't you think the kind of scene we want would have seemed somehow not right. Dev too as we saw today needed some time today. So he went to temple and then his ma. Of course she us his mother after all.
But that devakshi scene today was all we wanted and more. I really hadn't thought I would cry with them if there wasn't a breakdown the kind we want. But as the scene progressed with the kind of BGM I just couldn't stop myself and was crying before I even realised. I cannot describe that beauty in words. Him lying her down, kissing her head, sitting at her feet, wiping her tears, holding her hand., them not speaking but still saying everything. And dev's words that he will never leave her... All of it was behind words. The scene just couldn't be more simple or heartbreaking.
And guys just realise the CVS have no intention of making it about ishwari. Remember there is the difference btw the writer and the character. It's the character of ishwari who is making this about herself when she has no right to... It's not the CVS. They are just thinking as the character would. And with her in the loop of the lie... I think they had to show it. But now as it is in the open... I am waiting for that Mandir scene and therefter. My hopes havent been dampened even a bit. I just hope you will understand this too. Revisit yesterday's episode in the context of today maybe then it will make understand.
I hope I was clear enough to be understood.
