I always felt Dev was wrong in hiding the truth even though he had good intention.. And in today's episode there were three powerful dialogues by Sonakshi which pretty much sums up why Dev was wrong :-

1. "Kya plan tha aapka Dev ? 1 month ? 2 months? ... Kitni life thi aapki is jhoot ki"

2. "Maa ki umeedein jitni badegi, unhe baad mai utna hi dard hoga"

3. "Jhoot sirf kuch waqt ki raahat deta hai, par sacchaai zindagi bhar ki taakat hoti hai"

1 small small lie can shake the trust between 2 people. Lying is a habit which has been witnessed amongst Dixits repeatedly. A total untrustworthy family including Mr. Dev Dixit. A lie is a lie, it can be about food, exercise, sleep, drink, smoke, ride, travel, sex or whatever, what we fail to understand is - the main issue is not the context, doesn't matter how small or big it is, but once you know a person lies, the 'trust' factor vanishes.

I dont know what Sonakshi is made of. I cannot relate to her anymore. Crying for MIL over infertility is something goes beyond me . But for me and many people around me, dishonesty is a turn-off. Why, who, when, how, what doesnt come into the picture at all.

I liked the first and third dialog of Sonakshi. Not the second one. 😵

I only know one thing. If a man can lie for you, tomorrow he can lie to you just as easily. Now it's up to us if a lier for a life partner is acceptable whom we can't ever completely believe and always double check everything he/she says due to lack of trust. If that happens, is there any love left?

To add
I liked Dev saying - she was important and nothing else.

Absolutely agree! These were simple, truthful and earnest dialogues rendered so beautifully by Erica.

Exactly, I wonder whether Sona will ever be able to trust Dev.

Yes unfortunately, Dev's lies has ranged from both small occasions to big occasions.. From the swing and cupboard drama to calling Asha aunty to the infertility issue.. I don't know how Sona will trust after all this.
